    Great value, outstanding customer service

    Super hotel. You get a lot for your money here! Clean beautiful rooms, comfy beds. Outstanding customer service all around from the valet, to the maids, to the restaurant staff, to the pool host, nothing was lacking. Everyone was super friendly and eager to help without being to pushy. Plenty of activities by the pool, movies on the beach, great place to stay with kids. We came to surf, so access to the surf spots were in walking distance. The only thing that wasn't great for us was that we couldn't get a first floor room so going up and down the elevator with surfboards was a little challenging and the fact that I am afraid of elevators wasn't great for me but they worked perfectly. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel!

    Memorable, phenomenal experience! Ideal for surfing families!

    Excellent location, with a direct view of the ocean, and Zippers, the world famous surf break, 100 yards away. Another hundred yards after that is the rock, another fun point break. The Reflect Krystal Resort & Spa itself is also pristine, with an excellent location, and five-star service. The four open restaurants (there’s apparently 7 but 3 were closed) were also amazing, offering delicious meals with a wide variety and a rotating menu. Best of all, my daughters are gluten-free and they were able to make accommodations for them as needed. Every meal we had was absolutely scrumptious. There were tons of activities: water volleyball, dance classes, and archery were some of our favorites. Oh, almost forgot to mention, those are all free, at no additional cost. Each night at 8pm, they also have a movie on the beach, perfect for families to gather and enjoy a movie under the moon—with free popcorn! Can’t recommend this vacation enough, and I’d like to make a special mention to Julio, Efrain, Jesus, and everyone else who made this vacation absolutely memorable. We can’t wait to come back and do it again!

    Terrible UVC Club experience

    This was our second trip to Cabo, and our first time to this resort. It's part of the AM Resort family so we felt we would have a great experience. Unfortunately, the resort website paints a dramatically different picture of what to expect, versus what we actually experienced. When booking the trip, I alerted them that we were UVC Members, and this was part of a wedding anniversary trip. In the past, the resort would do something nice to acknowledge the event, but not this time. DRIVE UP First, we bypassed the main entrance and were delivered to a much smaller entrance to the resort. During check in, we were alerted that resort was limited to a single (tiny pool), 1 restaurant and 2 bars (including the poolside bar). The largest part of the resort was completely off limits and inaccessible. ROOM We were upgraded to a deluxe ocean view room with a "tub" on the balcony (which we did not use because I didn't trust it). The cushion on the couch in the room was severely water stained. There was mold in the corner of the shower, and the shower door was in desperate need of repair. The towels were extremely course and had frayed ends (needed to be replaced). Despite me calling the front desk twice, and them sending maintenance twice, the Air Conditioner never got below 23 degrees celsius (73.4 fahrenheit) despite being on its lowest setting the entire time we were there. So, the room was hot and humid. POOL My wife and I went to the pool and discovered that there was no wait staff serving the few guests that were there. The pool was no deeper than 3 ft, and was filthy and in need of filtration (whatever was floating throughout the pool was disgusting) and there were several pool tiles that were missing. The poolside music/entertainment selection consisted of another guests iPhone, and a bluetooth speaker. That same guest, and group of friends, were allowed to "vape" freely within the pool area. The quality of the liquor at the bar was bottom shelf and what I would expect from a cheap corner bar. The only pool entertainment consisted of a basketball hoop, and store bought board games (Monopoly, Yatzee, etc..). Then, there was what looked like residents, who live onsite, sharing the pool. Given the nightly rate we paid, I wasn't expecting to spend it at an apartment pool. Although they were very nice, very few of the resort staff spoke English, which made it challenging to communicate. VIBE Think - low budget Spring Break for college students. RESTAURANT The food in the restaurant "The Grill" was bland but presented well. Had the "catch of the day" for lunch, which as mackerel, and a shrimp salad with squid ink. For dinner we had empanadas and spring rolls, which were tasty, and a steak, which was so-so. SUMMARY Given the short experience, the pool was not an option, and there were no resort amenities or activities to utilize. The very next morning, we called UVC and had them book our remaining 2 days at another resort and we checked out, less than 24 hours after checking in. This resort resembled NOTHING remotely close to what was presented on their website and I could not in good conscience recommend it to anyone in its current state.

    Not quite ready for prime time

    about 25% of the resort is open. The staff was friendly but not as careful (nor were the other visitors), as when we stayed for a couple nights at Dreams just two weeks prior. If you are visiting within the next month, I would suggest you read other reviews to know what to expect, as there are limited food options and just the "adult pool" is open (for everyone, not just adults). Please also protect yourself by bring your own sanitizer as although the staff is trying, they are not super careful as they are at Dreams. Also had to wait three hours for a room even though a UVC member with five reservations between now and the end of 2020, and the AC in room 2702 did not work well. We were okay with all of this because the stay was only one night, but if we were there for a week, we would have asked to change rooms.
