If you want to trade your cares for fine, white Caribbean sands, Tropicana Aruba Resort & Casino is ready for you and your family. Just five minutes from island shopping and the happening nightlife in Aruba's capital, Oranjestad, this resort's kid-friendly flexibility lets you experience Aruba the way you want. The resort is within walking distance of the wildly popular, palapa-studded Eagle Beach.
We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in an "old" room but it was actually a good room and way better than a lot of hotels. The kitchen is nice. They have ice cubes on every floor you can take for free. Beach towels are replaced every time you want to, also several times a day.
You can order food to the pool. Both pools are nice. There are beach chairs for free on the beach, but arrive really early to get an umbrella.
They all seemed sweet.
My only complain would be that the terrace door is heavy and closes by itself.
we had a crib for our baby and it seemed as a good crib and a brand new mattress for him.
There is a super market close by and the walk to the beach takes 5min if you go through the hotel there is in front of Tropicana.
When we arrived at the Tropicana, the room they put us in was very old, worn and dirty. my wife was in a panic. The personal there I must say, went overboard to try to help me out. They put us into a 2 bedroom that was somewhat better, but still very worn... they finally were able to put us into a remodeled room which I had to pay a $150 UPCHARGE for, which I would like to get reimbursed. I would not direct anyone to the Tropicana until renovations are complete........compliments to the staff at the Tropicana!!
The whole trip was well planned and executed. We had not a single problem with our travel or reservations.
The room was a pleasant surprise. It was a combination kitchen, dining area and living room with a separate bedroom. It was very clean and well done. There was a huge jacuzzi tub with tons of hot water. We enjoyed our balcony with coffee in the early morning and relaxing in the late afternoon.
We were on the fifth floor and used the elevator often. It was the quickest I have ever used, both getting to us and getting us to where we were going.
The maid service was great.
The pools were fine. There was a problem with people putting towels on chairs in the nicest spots in the early morning and not coming to the pool until 11 or 12.
The beach was very nice but I found trying to use the Tropicana services there too difficult. My 90 year old father ended up walking back to the hotel because the Tropicana representative on the beach never called the shuttle as he promised. This ended my father’s excursions to the beach. It was also difficult to even find a rep and very likely they were out of chairs anyway.
The breakfasts were varied and delightful all week but the Sunday buffet breakfast was a disappointment. Dinners were okay. The Pizza was very good. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a hassle free vacation.

where is the tropicana aruba2 answers
Exactly where is the tropicana aruba? I know the area well but I can't figure out where it is. It says there is a 10 minute walk to the beach. Is it between the manchebo and divi divi? If so the 10 minute walk doesn't make sense.
