    Good experience. Maybe try the Riu Palace next time.

    Good resort, but the Palm Beach restaurant at lunchtime had birds eating right out of the food containers on counters, which the service staff completely ignored. A real health concern. The pool was very good. The bartending was quick. Towel staff good. Nightly shows very good. The breakfast restaurant was excellent, as was the signature restaurant. Room service was also good. Overall, it was a good experience. Reception was very good.

    Great vacation, so far our favorite place we have been.

    The only complaint , we ate at the Aruba restaurant one night when it first opened for Dinner and there was only one waiter, we had to get our own wine and water refills, but by the time we finished other waiters had come in to work. This is not what we would have expected for a resort restaurant. When we checked in we were not asked if we were celebrating any occasion, my twins were turning 25 during our trip and my wife and I were celebrating 34 years of marriage. On our last night we ate at the Steak house , so I told the lady who took us to our table about our celebrations and she thanked me for telling her. We finished eating and sat there for a while expecting something for our celebrations but received nothing so we left in disappointment.

    Love my RIU!

    Great chain! RIU Ocho Rios is wonderful, been 3 times. RIU Palace Antillas didn't disappoint! There was construction next door but wasn't really bothersome. The staff was amazing. From the front desk, housekeepers and servers. Special shout out to Owen at the Steakhouse! He is top notch and so much fun! Will be back for more R & R!

    Great honeymoon

    The new wife and I went here for our honeymoon. Food was great, bar was great, the mattress being very uncomfortable was my only complaint but such a minor inconvenience for an otherwise perfect place.
