Clean, friendly and attentive staff.
--Rooms, mostly Ocean View, are close to everything on the resort. --Pools, Restaurants, Cafes, Convenience stores, Bars and Work Out facilities at your fingertips with a variety of nightly Entertainment. --ALL FOOD GREAT! --ESPECIALLY--THE HAPPY HOUR DRINKS AND NIGHTLY GET TOGETHERS!! Really Nice to relax and enjoy the camaraderie with Great Staff and other Tourists. --Cheap Bus or Taxi at the door to almost anywhere on the Island, including several nearby shopping areas, entertainment venues, casinos and restaurants or with just a short walking distance to most. --DOWNTOWN-(short cheap bus ride) Fun place to visit where the cruise ships are in and out daily, with passengers and other tourists mingling about with tons of sites to see (tours ) or just strolling around. Several places to eat, have drinks or have fun at many of the Casinos. As per well known Travel Advisories, Aruba is Rated worldwide as one of the best places to visit. It is NOT in a Hurricane Zone, no Political Unrest, minimal Violence, or Theft and is mainly Sunny, Warm and BEAUTIFUL year round. We have been to Aruba 3 times, and will definitely go back once our world as we know it with Covid 19, goes away and let's us enjoy travelling again.
Keeps Getting Better and Better
From check-in to check-out, and the white sand beach in between, our stay, although cut short two weeks by the Coronavirus pandemic, at the Divi Phoenix was nothing short of fantastic. The total treatment received by all employees can best be described as it felt like we were the only people there. Ramon Statie and his beach/pool team that includes Marckenzy Gabriel, Julio Rodriguez ( Julio 1), Ariel Ramirez and Julio 2, go about their jobs with constant smiles, always affable and gregarious. Each one can never do enough for you. They are simply the very best! Checking in was smooth…Jairon Held greeted us with an ear-to-ear smile and promptly assigned our room, programed the wristbands and we were on our way. Along the way a gentleman came up to us and introduced himself, checking to make sure everything was pleasant so far and offering his assistance for anything we might need during our stay. Hansel Pineda was his name. He’s a great addition to the Divi Phoenix management team. Never before at any resort/hotel have we had management check to make sure the room was to our satisfaction. Chido Geerman, who is the head of the housekeepers, asked the question. You could tell Mr. Geerman sincerely cares, and while the room was perfect and available when promised, he was another that offered his assistance during our stay. Our stay, although “marred” by the Coronavirus pandemic, was great. The staff was great, the room was very clean and accomodating, the beach perfectly manicured, the new beach lounges a welcome addition and it all added up to what we’ve found over the years to be the best resort on Aruba —- Divi Phoenix Beach Resort.
Was there in February and had a great time. For the most part everyone was nice. A special thanks goes to Yvette, Julio Juan and a few girls at the front desk. We have going there since 2009 and can't wait to go every year.
Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort
My wife and I were here the first week of March. We had a beautiful, spacious room with one balcony over looking the pool and an other balcony facing the golf course. We had deluxe accamodations, with a hot tub on the floor above us. The beautiful beach with lounge chairs and shaded cabanas (?) was a very short distance away. We walked to the golf course and restaurant, but anywhere you wanted to go on the property a small tram was right there to take you. Happy hour every afternoon at the pool and the beach. Water sports equipment was available. We we snorkeled at several beaches. We also rented a car (dropped off at the lobby for us) to drive around the island. We had privilege's at all three of the Divi properieis and the casino. We were given complimentary coupons for dinner and for the casino. The porters, drivers, all the staff were extremely helpful, carrying lougage, driving you anywhere on the property, to the beach, to the other Divi properties. The beaches were clean, the water calm for easy swimming, a restaurant with happy hour, beautiful weather, shopping only a short bus ride away. A big plus was US emigration was at the Aruba airport. When we got back to the States we were able to go right to baggage claim, avoid the long hassle going through customs here. A wonderful experience, and on our bucket list to return.
Relaxing stay at Divi Phoenix!
This is my second time staying at Divi Phoenix. My boyfriend has a timeshare-Aruba is his favorite island. We had a very enjoyable and rejuvenating stay. He reserved a palapa for us each morning (generally prior to 7am.) There is a lot of room on the beach but the palapas go quickly. The rooms are comfortable. It's great to have a kitchen so that you are able to cook if you don't feel like going out. There is a lot going on at the resort but it never felt like "too much." We wanted a calm and low key week-mission accomplished! The gym is well equipped. We visited the spa twice which was lovely. A special thanks to Gabriel for being so friendly, helpful and kind!
