    Heaven on Earth

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Manchebo and it definitely will not be our last. Check in commenced with a warm welcome, a cool cloth, and a refreshing mojito for us to enjpy while being guided on a tour of the property by O'Neil. Each and every staff member we encountered along the way was warm and welcoming. By the time we reached our room our luggage was there and O'Neil showed us how to use everything in the room including air, fan, TV etc. Because we were there for an anniversary trip there was an iced bottle of champagne and two glasses along with a beautifully written card wishing us a happy anniversary. We decided to get some pool time in before our 7:15 p.m. reservation at Ike's bistro. We barely arrived at a pool chair when we were promptly greeted by a staff member who placed towels on each of our chairs, raised the umbrella, and asked if we wanted anything from the bar. We had this same service the next day when we ventured out to the beach. We were guided to the perfect spot by a staff member who put two towels on each of our chairs, explained how we could use the barcode to view the menu, and place the orange flag stake in the sand anytime we wanted to order drinks or food. We were very impressed to see a staff member buzzing around on a Segway with an ice bucket of beers in one hand and a drink caddy in the other, steering the Segway with his knees as he effortlessly guided through the beach chairs and Palapas promptly bringing guests their orders. It was amazing to watch. The chairs were shaded and nicely, spread out with a great view of the ocean no matter where you were sitting, just far enough away from others where you could enjoy the beach without feeling crowded. We never had to wait for a chair at the pool or a chair at the beach, which was wonderful. Watching the sunset over the water on the beach was one of the most beautiful things I think I have ever seen, the sky was colorful and glowing, and the pictures we took look like postcards. Overall the drinks were great and the food was good. The Chop House was our favorite with the most varied menu. Ikes Bistro was great for breakfast. Substitutions of menu items were welcomed, Gluten-free options were available, and the smoothies and coffee were fantastic. We chose the all-inclusive plan which seemed to be a better value, but we did tip at each meal even though they charge a service charge which is a tip that they split amongst all the staff. The staff were very informative when we asked questions about shopping or the surrounding area. They were very accommodating with any and all of our requests which allowed us to feel pampered throughout our stay. The grounds were exquisitely manicured and beautifully maintained. The room was clean, the towels were soft and smelled fresh, and products from Aruba aloe were available in the room including soaps shampoos body washes and lotions. We came to the resort as guests but left feeling like family. We were warmly embraced by the staff at the front as we left and they provided us with a goodie bag of snacks to take on the plane. We can't say enough good things about the resort and it's employees. Manchebo now has a special place in our hearts as does Aruba and we will definitely be returning to this one happy Island and to Manchebo. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone that made us feel special and allowed us to have a beautiful and relaxing anniversary trip.

    Great beach hotel!

Hard to beat the experience at the Manchebo! Perfect beach and beautiful surroundings. Easy to rest and relax at the beach and excellent service from the staff. The food at each of the restaurants at the hotel is excellent and better than expected. Some shopping and off resort restaurants are within walking distance which add options for minimal effort. Absolutely content with the trip.

Awesome Resort on the best Beach

Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa is the best. Their beach is awesome with plenty of palapas, beach chairs and towels for their guests. The beach is white powdery sand and not crowded at all. It is extremely enjoyable. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is great.

Outstanding, one of a kind resort!

Outstanding resort in a one of a kind location! We stayed at Manchebo for 7 nights for our honeymoon, and couldn't ask for better! Starting from the welcome and check in process, everything was so good. The service was superb and the whole staff was super friendly and helpful (reception, concierge for booking activities and car rental, restaurants service, beach & pool service, etc.). They offer daily yoga and pilates classes free for hotel guests, by top instructors. They also have some special events occasionally, such as the weekly manager's cocktail happy hour on Tuesdays. The beach that the hotel is located at is really one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen, and it's large and very not crowded. The hotel offers many beach cabanas and sunbeds, with full service and also a sunscreen station. We also had amazing massage treatments at the Spa Del Sol, which is such a unique spa facility located on the beach. The food was good with a large variety and daily specials. I really recommend the Omakasa!

The beach is amazing and the pool was beautiful! The restaurants were so delicious offering lots of healthy options as well. We opted for the romantic dinner on the beach for my birthday dinner and it was super special! Delicious Puro coffee! Coconut chia pudding for breakfast, chicken poke bowl and Asian noodle salad for lunch! Yummm! We will return annually and stay here every time! Thank you!!
