Nice and cozy

When planning my vacation I was a little scared about booking. Then my sister showed me a few things and it made my decision making easier. Brickell Bay is a nice small but big enough resort. While there the resort was going through a transformation, face lift or renovations whatever you want to call it. That didn’t bother me at all. The hotel is not on the beach but Brickell Bay has a nice spot on the beach for its guests. Someone working to tend to all your needs. Transportation to the beach and hotel. The service from the maid Lilliana, poolside bartender kelly, breakfast service from Aaron and Rose-Ann I can’t say nothing negative the best. All the staff at Brickell Bay were very pleasant from the moment we got there until we left. So before reading all negative reviews and lettting that make you decide read all the positive ones. There are to many negative people in this world. My only suggestion is to brighten up the color scheme on the inside brighten it from wall colors to rugs. Remember one happy island. Bright colors make people happy ☺️ Thank you Brickell Bay staff. I would go back and stay here again!!

Horrible Experience

I have been to many boutique type hotels all over the Caribbean even in Hawaii but this has got to be the worst. This is my 2nd trip to Aruba and thank goodness I hardly spent any time in my hotel room. From lousy service at the front desk to the power going out in the room to the room itself not being ready when I arrived after check in time. I even advised the hotel manager and he did not even bother to respond. Don't waste your time at this hotel.

Cozy & Relaxing

I loved the smaller, more intimate environment compared to the larger all inclusive hotels. Adult only was wonderful! Total relaxation at the pool or Spa with Jasmine. The hot stone massage was one of the best I have ever gotten. There is a small area of beach chairs which you can easily reserve early in the morning. It is a quick walk to the beach from the hotel right down the block. Room service was free! I traveled solo and felt very comfortable. The excursions were both enjoyable: Palm Pleasure snorkeling & SeaWorld Explorer Submarine. Great trip! Breakfast was included too.

Totally Fine

The resort is extremely well-located. It is a short walk across the street to the beach, and it is right in the thick of popular bars, restaurants, etc. If you are looking to get a decent bang for your buck, this place will do the trick. A few things that were misleading in the resort details: 1. You are not really "using the Hyatt amenities". You can't use their pool or their beach huts. There are very specific chairs/huts for Brickell Bay, and they are not waterfront. We paid $5 a chair and $15 an umbrella from an awesome woman named Sandra to sit waterfront each day. 2. The "free continental breakfast" is just coffee and a basket of bread. 3. There were definitely never chocolates on the pillows for turn-down service ;) 4. The staff is super friendly and always assured us they would do something "immediately", but they run on island time. We would wait an hour for a towel to be delivered to the pool area. Our shower leaked and it was like a swamp in our bathroom and they never brought towels to our room when requested. 5 The front desk usually only has one person working at a time, so you will wait forever for anything. If you need your daily beach towels, and someone is checking in, you will wait 15 minutes for them to check in to be able to grab a towel and head out for the day (if they have any towels available, lol). 6. The pool is very lackluster comparatively - we never wanted to hang out there once we saw all the gorgeous pools at the other resorts! We just hung at the beach. All that said, it was about half the price of the beachfront hotels, and I'd probably stay there again for that reason!
