  Nothing has changed

  It's been six months since I posted a review of Royalton, Negril. (Part of 12) We did not enjoy the experience and people are still commenting on the same issues we had. AC not working. Many areas in disrepair. Rain water leaking into buildings. Poor level of cleanliness in common areas. Restaurants running out of food long before closing time. Management apologizes but nothing changes. I am still convinced I would never go back to this place again.

  Theirs a thief working here

  Start with the positive hotel was nice room was nice also most of the staff were friendly some always looked vexed we only ate in the buffet fd was gd expecially the fish section cooked by Earl he took alot of pride in his cooking top marks for him also Sade and Mellisa always smiling the ladies that worked in the coffee shop in reception were also amazing beach bar exceptional always remembered what we were drinking and always had smile on their faces gardener's always greeted you with a gd morning now the negative we had roaches 3 times only afew but not something we wanted in our room had stuff stolen 1st a bra went missing brand new reported to reception then another bra went also brand new reported to hotel and tui when going through my clothes I noticed afew vest tops had gone also reported once again they got security involved who came to our room to search one of the guys went in my suitcase and was holding up my knickers no need for that was embarrassing to say the least the hotel just wasn't interested no apologies or nothing couldn't believe that someone would go through my belongings and steal that has never happened before from any hotel I've stayed in would I go bk there no I wouldn't for the simple fact that they have a thief amongst the staff did I enjoy my holiday no I didn't Forgot to put this on positive big shout out to Fire Star always smiling lovely girl

  Fun Fun in the Sun!

  Stayed 10 days at the Diamond Club in Building 1, and I wanted to share a few thoughts while the experience is still fresh. Overall, it was a relaxing stay—beach was pristine, drinks were cold, and the staff was friendly throughout. But a few things stood out that could really elevate the guest experience. The Diamond Club Bar & Grill served excellent food, but each day something was missing from the menu—Ceviche one day, Wings the next. It disrupted the consistency of an otherwise great dining experience. Similarly, the butler service felt uneven. While my mom’s butler was attentive and helpful, mine never showed up in person, just sent the occasional WhatsApp message. For a premium offering, this felt like a miss. A few highlights worth noting: - The Diamond Club beach dinner and aquatic show were spectacular. - The DC pool was quiet and perfectly located near the beach and grill. - The International Buffet and Calypso were culinary standouts. - Grazie’s pizza was so good, we went back for breakfast. That said, the resort is showing its age. Both rooms were clean and spacious, but could use a refresh. Entertainment at the main stage lacked variety (MJ show was a hit, the rest not so much), and the DC Lounge oddly had no cutlery available the entire stay, despite offering salads and yogurts. Still, with some polish, this place could be next-level, this one has strong bones and a loyal team—it just needs a little love.

  Don’t go

  We arrived yesterday paid extra for the ‘diamond club’ assigned butler I think as haven’t seen her! Staff miserable! Diamond club lol it’s dirty and so run down! Three adults in my room two cups four sugars 3 coffees! Was told we would meet with butler and she would explain room, facilities and amenities! Arranged for 8am meet no show so went to speak to someone in diamond club lounge and she was nonchalant and said she would get the butler to sort our issues! I have cealiacs asked that someone could advise what I can and can’t eat still waiting! Then guest services came to see me and he was helpful but apparently they can’t get hold of the chef that deals with special dietary requirements sorry what? Shouldn’t a main chef know what’s in all dishes so I’ve stuck to bland food for fear of getting upset stomach! This is not 3 star I would say more 2!! People look miserable! They can’t help the weather but as soon as a storm hits you have all staff clearing towels and mopping corridors none of that here! Walkways are soaking stairwells have puddle of water coming through even a restaurant had water coming down the wall and no one seems to go! My husband wants to change hotel… shouldn’t have to experience this when spending hard earned money on what you thought was an experience! Corridors are dirty lifts not working and if your not staying in diamond club the rest of the hotel looks like something from the 70s that needs total refurb! By the way I’m diabetic and so is my husband can’t get Diet Coke for love nor money, they have run out of wine and don’t apologise or offer an alternative that’s that get on with it! Will defo not return to this home save your money book elsewhere! This was a treat for my birthday would rather have gone to true 5 star hotel! Do not come to this hotel!

  Best service!!

  The staff here is absolutely amazing! The restaurants are 5 star. The buffet was ok. My butler Mel was there for everything we needed. She definitely made this a wonderful birthday experience for my husband 💕 We are already planning our next stay.
