Aruba Transportation

In existence since 1925, Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA) is a full service airport for Aruba. Queen Beatrix International Airport was voted one of the 4th best airport approaches in the world.

Immigration and Customs

When you arrive, exit through the terminal with documents in hand. Proceed to the immigration desk, where an official will verify your identity and stamp your passport. Upon leaving Aruba, US travelers will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs so allow an extra 1 hour for check-in at peak times.

Travelers must have a valid passport, a valid return ticket, and have completely filled out and signed the Embarkation and Disembarkation card (ED-card). The departure tax for Aruba is $36.75 for the USA and $33.50 for all other departure destinations.

How to Get to Your Hotel has partnered with DePalm Tours as our premier transportation company in Aruba.  They’ll provide you with safe, comfortable and professional transportation from the airport to your hotel and back. They’ll also provide transportation to any excursions booked through our site that you’d like to take while you’re in your destination.

It’s easy to find your DePalm Tours team when you arrive at the airport. All drivers are fluent in English, friendly and knowledgeable about the culture, history and things to do while you’re there. By the end of your ride, you’ll have made a new friend. Their vehicles are all clean, modern and reliable.

DePalm Tours is also the official transportation rep for excursions when you book vacations to Aruba on our site. The majority of our partner hotels have a DePalm Tours desk in or near the lobby so they’re easy to find, should you need them. For this reason, we suggest that our guests do not rent cars while in the Caribbean or Mexico as traffic laws and road quality and street signs are not the same as they are in the US.
