What We Love
- The resort is the biggest resort in Cabarete, and it's loaded with fun for the entire family.
Things to Know
- This is a great resort for active families. Beach and pool volleyball, bocce ball and kayaking means plenty of quality family time.
The resort's expansive freshwater pool offers prime real estate for aqua adventures. Parents can unwind and relax in their own oasis. And, kids get to splash around in their own, supervised pool courtesy of the Kids' Program.
The resort's 4 dining options keep stomachs full and happy while providing all the variety you want with a touch of Caribbean flair. The Dominican Republic and Puerto Plata boasts its own flavorful take on food that you'll find delicious. After dinner, there's nearby nightlife, but the resort's live, nightly entertainment and disco keep the party hoppin' close to home.
After a night of dancing, try a different sort of shimmy on the majestic, rolling waters just off the shores of Cabarete. Kayaking, sailing, windsurfing and kite-surfing are yours for the asking. Back at the resort, there's an adult game room for a touch of friendly indoor competition. Enjoy a bit of indoor pampering at the full-service spa or go mountain biking and horseback riding if you're looking for something with speed and adventure. If you just want to dominate the competition with your blistering serve or enviable bicep curls, the hard-surfaced tennis court and fitness center are happy to oblige.
When it's time to wind down, your comfy room is waiting just for you. A cushy bed offers a superb spot to crash, and a mini bar stands ready to help you relax as you plan your next day in paradise.

Great Family/Group Vacation
Perfect Location. The resort has everything you need without the long walks of the larger resorts and the beach is beautiful. We walked into the small town, which was only about 5 min down the beach. The village was clean, beautiful, and inviting. Many of shop workers spoke English. The activities/ animation team on the resort was great, wonderful at entertaining and very respectful. We were a large group, some wanted to do all the activities and some just wanted to relax. Something for everyone. A shout out to Babyface, Dada, and Martina on the animation team. They were all great but I’ve forgotten names. They kept us so busy we hardly noticed there isn’t a swim up bar. The food was great in all the restaurants. The buffet was well stocked and almost no line ups. No complaints at all, and many memorable dishes that we still miss, like the lasagna in the Italian restaurant. And these crab cake things in the snack bar. Really all the food was great!!
Nice hotel but...
Very nice hotel with nice environment, rooms and friendly stuff but the worst was the food and drinks. I was alive only on fruits, vegetables and ice cream. Pasta was discusting, even buns were not tasty. Water (c'mon) with a taste of plastic... I was drinking only the water from the room. Everything except food and drinks was quite nice. Best regards.
A nice resort but the staff was lacking in meeting basic requirements
We stayed at this resort March 12-19th 2020. We liked that it was smaller, we were beach front while our daughter's family was close to the reception desk. Because of the size it only took a few minutes to go between rooms which was great. All areas of the hotel were very clean, both pools were very nice and the beach was lovely. We could walk for over an hour in either direction. We were very disappointed with the service we received in a few areas. Our biggest complaint was in how the hotel handled repeat complaints from the people staying in our building when a group of grade 12 students from Ottawa were rowdy and very disruptive every night until 3:00 or 4:00 every morning. The security team came and talked to them but didn't do anything to make sure they were quiet and considerate to the other travellers. We all paid a lot of money to be there and the management obviously didn't care, they allowed 30 teenagers to run the show and the hotel all week, we were very upset as were several others we spoke to. Why would the hotel not put this group together in the same part of the hotel and let them disturb each other. We also found that the waiter staff in the morning didn't provide the basics needed for breakfast. Most tables did not have both salt and pepper, no cutlery and they very seldom came to offer coffe and tea. We just went to other tables that weren't being used and took what we needed. I know being a towel guy at the pool isn't a challenging job but if that's your job do it properly. He spent more time texting than he did helping out guests and was rude. I wouldn't go back to this hotel inspite of the cleanliness and beautiful location.
