    oh awesome trip

The food was good the hotel was clean and it was nice. We saw baby turtles at the turtle conservation. The beach was fun and we fed the fish with croissants. I would love to go back to Margaritaville! ^ lol.. so that is my 7 year olds review for Margaritaville! But it really was a great vacation. We were arriving at 10am with sunwing and were expecting to wait for our room since it was so early. To our surprise, our room was ready already! Gave us a full day to enjoy at the pool. Beach wasn’t huge but I appreciated the rock barrier for my kids so the waves weren’t strong. For any novice snorkeler, it was great! Food was one of the best places I’ve been (which includes Aruba, Curacao, Bahamas, st Lucia, etc...) I fell in love with the chia seed pudding at the keys. A la carte dinner was limited but the quality was amazing! Anyone going to the turtle conservation, they have a shuttle bus at 9:25. We did the whole package there and the kids had a lot of fun with turtles and water slide!

    Great for the family

The staff was friendly and attentive. Hotel was recently remodeled and seemed in good shape. The on-site restaurant (Eating Place) was crazy good. Hotel's location was excellent too - close proximity to Seven-Mile Beach and to Georgetown. Would recommended.

    Good times

Room- great, large, we had three adults and there was plenty of room and extras for laying out clothes and luggage. Could use hooks in the bathroom and mirror in the room as the only one is in the bathroom. Beaches- beautiful with enough chairs and umbrellas, Chris not allowed in water and no floats they had to be purchased but they did have kayaks and paddle boats that can be used for free for an hour at a time. One thing never noticed was the beach being raked? Bars - open at 1000 except on Sunday and the hotel bar makes the best drinks, the pool bar has plenty of swim up seating. Restaurants- key cafe is very nice, opens early enough and very handy. Pool serves food which is wonderful. Lulu lolas pizza is to die for and very responsive, 1503 is crazy- we had a party of 5 but if we ate dinner and some want the buffet and others want menu you have to sit in different areas of the restaurant. The sushi is wonderful as is the morning buffets. Try the fresh made waffles and eggs , the chef is great Pools- plenty and well kept, hot tub is just what it says - hot Entertainment - was good and kept the crowd going and it engaged every age- good job Housekeeping - great job, always cleaning something very clean beach and resort Bar staff - very accommodating and friendly except 1503 desk staff, they got testy and didn’t explain anything just rude. Very kids friendly but you don’t notice children that even though there were plenty there. Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing quiet vacation.

    Worth Every Penny!

We stayed here the first week of March all inclusive with Sunwing and really enjoyed this hotel and island. The rooms were clean, the food and drinks were good and found all the staff to be wonderful (never encountered any that were rude or unhelpful). We loved the coffee, sandwiches and desserts at Keys Cafe. The pizza and gelato was excellent. We walked down seven mile beach but I would have hated to be at some of the other hotels where all the sun loungers on the beach were squashed up beside each other. We had a couple of days where there was wind and lots of waves but because the hotel has the man made rock barrier the water on our part of the beach was nice and calm. We walked into Georgetown to look around and snorkel at Eden Rock. As two females we found this island very safe and friendly. There is a free shuttle from the lobby twice a day to the Turtle Farm so we took that and saw the turtles and sharks. And from there we took a public bus (which costs $2.50 USD) to Hell where we got our passport stamped and sent postcards back home, cuz everyone wants to get a postcard from Hell. The WIFI worked pretty good except you couldnt use it at the beach. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and would return here again.

We agree with the positive reviews

Just returned after eight days. Given the high prices in GC, Margaritaville (Marg) is a great value. We agree with the positive reviews. We were not on an all-inclusive. The Roy Yamaguchi restaurant is outstanding with excellent Asian-fusion (dinner). About 100 yards offshore was a nice reef with great fish. No need to go elsewhere for snorkeling. We could walk to lots of good restaurants. Bed very comfortable. There were hardly any mosquitos and the humidity was lower than other places we've been such as Jamaica and St. Johns. The island felt more like Florida than a typical caribbean island. For us, a negative. A "highlight" was watching Mt. Trashmore (seemed like the highest elevation on island; it is a dumpsite) burn for three days. Thankfully, the smoke was not towards the hotel.
