Running 85-feet along the beachfront, the pool at this resort is best enjoyed with a Mai Tai from the poolside Sol Bar, and couples love the hot tub or a romantic stroll in the lagoon-style courtyard with its lush plants. From classic Italian to international gourmet, there are plenty of choices after a long day in the sun. If seafood is what you're yearning for, the all-you-can-eat lobster meal on Wednesday nights is a sure hit at oceanfront Solana.
What better way to take advantage of the unbelievable water than jumping in for scuba diving, windsurfing, or sailing? You can also see underwater sights in one of the largest glass-bottom boats in the world, or you can take a trip on an Atlantis Submarine. If you really want to get up close and personal, book an excursion to Stingray City, where you literally get to swim with the fishes! If adventure by land is more your speed, an evening sunset ride on horseback, booked through Pampered Ponies, is just right for you. Tired from taking in the sights? La Mer Spa gets you de-stressed and ready for more with a Phyto-Marine body therapy, which releases tension and boosts energy with seaweed-and-rich-marine-clay extract.
After a recent $15-million renovation, the five-story, 273-guestroom resort lets you unwind in style with the Deluxe Island View room. If you're traveling with kids, the Courtyard guestroom is spacious enough to sleep four and features a patio or balcony that overlooks the gorgeous tropical garden.

Perfect Staycation Pkg - Amazing staff!
My husband and I celebrated our 8th year anniversary and decided to book a staycation. Emailed a couple of hotels on the island and Marriott Beach Resort came back to me with the best options! Our package was for 2 nights and included a complimentary upgrade to an ocean view room, massage for two people, a $50 breakfast credit and brunch for 2 on Sunday. Pretty awesome right? Check in was phenomenal, Noelia is super friendly, helpful and made us feel like we were at home. She also congratulated us on our anniversary which made us feel pretty special. The room was super big, although the furniture seemed a bit outdated which was not a problem for us because we care more about other things but I tell you this now in case you stay in hotels for fancy decorations. The bed was really comfortable, good pillows, big bathroom but the best part was the view, this hotel has GREAT VIEWS! We went to the pool but made me feel this was just for kids, to be honest, the beach is amazing so you have to be pretty boring to spend your time by the pool instead of SMB. The free amenities included free paddle board rental, kayaks, and bikes, I mean, what else do you need?? SO GOOD! We were offered towels, water and little cups with frozen melon. Once again amazing service and staff. Laurence is really cool! The massages were perfect for the start of the evening. I can't remember the ladies names but both of them were super nice and I left the spa feeling so relaxed!. On Saturday night they had this amazing Sunset Session plus a bonfire. They had burgers for $18 and cocktails for $10. The brunch was good but not amazing BUT, I think this is because of COVID. We heard heaps of good things about this brunch so maybe we were expecting too much and didn't think about the new menu or restrictions. Anyhow, service always perfect! The staff is always checking on you and making sure you have water, bubbles or if you are having a good time. Unfortunately I can only remember Mirna's name but everyone there was fantastic as well. Thank you to the night receptionist for lending us the umbrellas on Sunday night. I would totally stay here again and I am planning to recommend this place to all my friends visiting from overseas. Thank you to all the staff for an amazing weekend!
Embarrassing and dissapointment
After a lockdown of two months because of the cover 19, the Hotels open their door to locals, and people live here! My family and I were always in Mariott; we stay almost every week. I spent my son's 8th birthday there for two nights, and I had his friends! Yesterday the 18th Saturday, July an employee Renzo was so rude and told us to leave because we didn't check-in. We can't use the facilities he says we can't swim and let our children removed from the pool, my friend has a room, and she invited us for lunch and to make the children swim while waiting for the food the way he speaks with us is so disgrace! We are locals and helping the economy while no tourist we are spending money there! We are about to leave and promise never to return Mariott anymore. Still, the Director of Food and Beverage Daniel was so kind and accomodating he apologies and keep us stayed hope Mariott hire more like Daniel and the Server Danica that we love that Renzo should return where he comes from or send him to kind of training to have a little compassion and excellent services skills!!! For now, we are not coming back because of Renzo...
I stayed at the Marriott for 2 days with 2 friends. It was a very special occasion. I booked through email with sacha and Upon our arrival we were greeted by jose who was absolutely fantastic and welcoming. In our bedroom the table closest to the door was covered in sand and the towels had spots on them as if the room had not been cleaned and the room was just opened to us. They had Max Kazakov Dj'ing in the lobby which I really enjoyed, he gave a great performance. Later on I had some guests come over (who also invited more guests, which I was not expecting) We had a noise complaint and we were told by edward that we could use the lobby downstairs as it was empty. This was an extremely accommodating suggestion it felt as if we had our own private party! Great customer service on behalf of Luis and Edward. The following day we were woken up by the screams and laughter of children and loud conversation by families by the pool Which was completely expected by me but if you are booking a relaxing stay and would like to sleep in I suggest you do not book ocean view. upon departure I was checked out by a young lady (i didn't get her name) I was told my final bill came up to $474. 98KYD when I was told initially the room would be $270 KYD and that is also what I signed on my credit card authorization form. I even emailed to confirm that price which I assumed included the tax and additional fees as I asked multiple times. I only booked with the marriot thinking the $270KYD for two nights was a fantastic deal compared to the Kimpton or Locale, which I was wrong. I was charged a $205 ‟guest smoking in room‟ fee when there was absolutely no smoking in the room whatsoever by me or any of my guests. A couple of my guests smoked some celebratory cigars outside on the balcony and if it was prohibited I wish I was told that upon arrival and spared the embarrassment of the surprise fee at the end of my stay. for $400KYD it is better spent at the Kimpton than at the marriot for a ‟room only‟ that was not even cleaned thoroughly. I am disappointed in The lack of notice with my final bill as I would not have stayed the second night and would have taken my money elsewhere.
Fell in Love with the Caymans
We looked for. Family trip to the caymans. The Marriott hotel was perfect. It was located in the perfect spot close to Cabana Bay The sand area was small from the water line but they had a couple rows of chairs to accommodate the guests. The staff was always willing to help and with positive spirits. The staff greets you when you first arrive and from that moment on they are very attentive to your needs. They have events everyday for the kids. We were there on a family vacation so we tried to do everything together but kid interaction for my daughter was nice for a couple hours a day.
Perfect in every way
The Marriott Beach House is a beautiful hotel. Every area of the property is thoughtfully designed for style, comfort and delight and we absolutely loved our short staycation there. Loved the room, loved the grounds, loved the beach and snorkeling nearby. We didn't eat on property but the restaurants look great. Even more notable than the beautiful design was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. From the emails you get before arrival to the farewells on the final day every team member is warm, thoughtful, helpful and knows just what to do to make the experience special. I highly recommend staying there and want to say a special thanks to Noellia and Luis at the front desk and Gabriella, Conrad and Alex at the beach. Lovely people who made our stay great.
