Running 85-feet along the beachfront, the pool at this resort is best enjoyed with a Mai Tai from the poolside Sol Bar, and couples love the hot tub or a romantic stroll in the lagoon-style courtyard with its lush plants. From classic Italian to international gourmet, there are plenty of choices after a long day in the sun. If seafood is what you're yearning for, the all-you-can-eat lobster meal on Wednesday nights is a sure hit at oceanfront Solana.
What better way to take advantage of the unbelievable water than jumping in for scuba diving, windsurfing, or sailing? You can also see underwater sights in one of the largest glass-bottom boats in the world, or you can take a trip on an Atlantis Submarine. If you really want to get up close and personal, book an excursion to Stingray City, where you literally get to swim with the fishes! If adventure by land is more your speed, an evening sunset ride on horseback, booked through Pampered Ponies, is just right for you. Tired from taking in the sights? La Mer Spa gets you de-stressed and ready for more with a Phyto-Marine body therapy, which releases tension and boosts energy with seaweed-and-rich-marine-clay extract.
After a recent $15-million renovation, the five-story, 273-guestroom resort lets you unwind in style with the Deluxe Island View room. If you're traveling with kids, the Courtyard guestroom is spacious enough to sleep four and features a patio or balcony that overlooks the gorgeous tropical garden.

My husband and I have stayed at this resort multiple times over the years. Our most recent visit was March 5-12, 2020. They have remodeled in the last 5 or so years and vastly improved their restaurant food choices. Everything that we tried was delicious. The staff is courteous and helpful and greets everyone with a smile. We look forward to returning in the future.
Its amazing! But...
Almost everything here is excellent, however I am a professional world traveler (PWT) and the room and beach did not meet my standards. If I could show you a photo from my visit, you would literally laugh it's so bad. The beach was non-existant and my 1st floor "Ocean View" room had an amazing view of the pool. Unfortunatly, I came here for the beach and most importantly, the pancakes. So because the beach was absolutly atrocious I have to give this place a one star review.
Perfect honeymoon location
We loved staying at the Beach House. Every staff member was friendly and treated us like royalty. Nelson and Omar greeted us at the door by name, and Doreen kept our room spotless. There were so many wonderful people we interacted with from the beach set up crew, to the front desk staff, we wish we could remember all of their names. We will definitely be back to the Beach House!
I hope we get to return one day
We stayed here for 5 nights from February 26 - March 2. We were able to use our Suite nights through Marriott Rewards and received an upgrade to an ocean front junior suite with a balcony. The view when we opened the door to our room was breathtaking. Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and helpful. The hotel does not have a lounge level, so we were given vouchers for breakfast. We combined the vouchers and ate at the breakfast buffet every other day. On the other days we just had some fruit and granola bars. Our floor (and I'm assuming the others, as well) had both an ice machine and a filtered water cooler. We filled up the beverage containers we had brought with us each day on our way down to the pool/beach. Servers from the pool/beach side restaurant come around regularly with a water pitcher and snacks, and they were always happy to refill our containers (they have disposable cups, too). A quick stop at the towel area, and someone will set up chairs and an umbrella (if the wind is not too strong) for you at the beach or at the pool. We were in a chair every day by 10 am, and we got the front row of the beach every day except one. That day, the waves were breaking up to the front chairs, and I didn't want to fight that all day, so I opted for the second row. I mentioned the breakfast buffet. The food was very good with lots of variety - hot and cold options, and plenty of fruit. On the days that we ate breakfast buffet, we were so full that we would just snack for lunch. We made dinner reservations at the outside restaurant for our last night. The manager came by and talked with us several times, and our server was very friendly and attentive. At the beach, we took advantage of the "toys" they offer as part of the resort fee. We used the kayaks, snorkeling equipment, and the ocean floats. You can also rent jet skis there, and you can be picked up for parasailing right on their beach. We did not have a rental car. We walked to dinner every night except one, and walked back from dinner that night when we realized how close the restaurant was to the hotel. The hotel has a shuttle that will take you to various areas, including downtown. We meant to do that one day, but could not tear ourselves away from the beautiful beach. Plus, I didn't have room in my luggage to take many souvenirs home anyway because we had traveled carry-on only. Yes, it is a small resort, and yes, it has a small beach, but it is lovely, and we hope to have an opportunity to return some day.
Have been here three times with my family. Such a wonderful relaxing family vacation. The employees are amazing and so accommodating especially Neil who waits on you hand and foot beachside or poolside. He is such a nice, thoughtful and extremely hardworking person.
