St. Kitts Transportation

You’ll fly into Robert L Bradshaw International Airport (SKB). If you're flying from New York, Atlanta, Charlotte or Miami, you might be able to find a direct flight into St. Kitts. Otherwise, you can find connecting flights from San Juan, St. Martin, Antigua, and other Caribbean islands.

Immigration & Customs

A valid passport and a return ticket are needed when traveling to St. Kitts. Before leaving the island, travelers will have to pay a departure tax directly to airport staff, not to the airlines like other countries. You can pay in local money or in US dollars. The total is $22.00.

Getting to Your Hotel has partnered with Tropical Tours as our premier transportation company in St. Kitts. They’ll provide you with safe, comfortable and professional transportation, from the airport to your hotel and back.

It’s easy to find your Tropical Tours team when you arrive at the airport. All drivers are fluent in English, friendly and knowledgeable about the culture, history and things to do while you’re there. By the end of your ride, you’ll have made a new friend. Vehicles are all clean, modern and reliable.

Tropical Tours is also the official transportation rep for excursions when you book vacations to St. Kitts on our site.

Getting Around St. Kitts

To get around the island, taxis and buses are available.  The buses look like minivan taxis.  To distinguish between the two, if the front has an “H”, then it’s a private bus.  If it has a “T”, then it’s a taxi.
