Such An Awesome Hotel!
Mango Bay is a very cozy hotel located in a very quiet area yet easily accessible. It is so well organized and provided me what I needed to make my stay very relaxed. You are literally steps away from the beach as well as the pool. Entertainment was available on some nights if you’re in the mood for live singing and the sweet sounds of the steel pan. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable such as Pedro, a restaurant manager who saw that all guests feel welcomed. At the restaurant you are normally seated outside with a lovely view of the beach. You also have the option of sitting inside which provides a nice ambiance. Some evenings they offer a lovely buffet. Others you are seated restaurant style with your choice on the main menu, switching it up so it is never mundane, and the food is excellent. The hotel room was very clean. I was always asked if I needed anything as fresh towels. Mango Bay is close to public transportation which was important to me so I can get to Bridgetown on my own. Buses and vans run along the route of the hotel. I only had to walk one block away and I got a ride within minutes. There are restaurants and upscale boutiques, a supermarket which line the nearby main street. I loved this hotel and it will be my first choice when I return to Barbados.

Awesome family style resort
If you are looking huge resort chain - this is not place for you;
This is a laid back, family style, recreational resort with majority of repeat customers (mostly Brits)
The rooms could use a little bit modernization(hence only 4?stars) but the service few times a day and friendly atmosphere compensates for that; food is mostly a la carte; fancy; no buffets -!guys make sure to have collar shirts;
Beach is to die for;
Artificial reef has tens of tropical fish if u snrokle; no need for trips;
They offer compimentary excursions: catamaran cruise and glass bottom boat( did i say free?;)
Also bunch of overpriced restaurants are right outside and a Massy stores (supermarket for that Caribbean treats)
I’d rate it almost 5 stars.
The resort is old and outdated. The Hotel Manager was rude and unprofessional. The food was ok, the drinks were very good. The restaurant and bar staff were good. I enjoyed cocktail party. Overall, I this was my least favorite vacation.
The staff at the resort were very pleasant and efficient, and accommodating.
The Wi-Fi situation was not good. Only available pool-side and you were lucky to get on. Mango Bay could be a better resort...it is dated and a bit shabby. The location is good, easy access to a nearby mall.
The people we traveled with had constant plumbing issues... The staff accommodated them and on their last day, had complimentary champagne and cheeses brought to their room. Nice, appreciated gesture, but the resort needs updating.

two-hour, glass-bottom boat ride. And, don't miss the catamaran cruise if you
want a chance to snorkel with sea turtles.
Once your nose is sun kissed and you're happily worn out from playing
Robinson Crusoe, pull up a chair at Mango Bay's Restaurant, where succulent
Caribbean fusion entrees are sure to top off the day in an authentic, tasty
way. If you're feeling a bit more genteel, make sure you save time for
afternoon tea service that harkens back to Barbados' British heritage. Once the
sun sets, the fun continues. The restaurant's bar offers live entertainment
every night, with a variety of musicians playing Jazz, piano or rockin' island
music to compliment an entertaining limbo-dance contest.
The resort takes special pains to acquaint guests with other parts of
Barbados by arranging special day trips. For an additional charge, you can be
queen for the day watching the sport of kings at Garrison Savannah. And we
think you should definitely take the jaunt to Oisten's Fish Fry, where the
sounds of rhythmic steel drums and local, lilting voices mix with the smell of
freshly fried fish to create an intoxicating and memorable Caribbean
experience.
