    A group of friends travelled together and enjoyed this wonderful resort.

    Wonderful place , staff puts you as their "#1" proirity; extremely accomodating, professional, leaving no want unddone. Somewhat spread out for those with mobolity issues and not on-site transport.

    We loved our stay!

    We just got back from a 5 night stay. This was our 4th time at the resort and it was still as beautiful as ever. The postive things about this resort are: Service ( Karla, Bryan, JoJo, Rosa, Reynolda ) Food: We feel like they have stepped up another level!. Our favorite eating places were Pool Pizza, Japanese, Italian and 2087. French was good but not great. Check in and out was smooth. The negative things about this resort are: Rooms were not clean when we arrived, but after the second day it got better. We think that this resort is starting to cater more toward the legend group and not focusing much on nonlegend group. The placard on all pool side chairs and beach side chairs sometimes would stay all day and never be used. This is a problem that we have seen in the past and it seems to have gotten worse. We loved our stay and will be back in the future. We have also stayed at many resorts and have not found one that has Service like this resort!!

    Our favorite Riviera Maya stay

    Just returned from our third trip to Unico 20.87 and it is our favorite resort around Cancun! It’s about an hour transfer from the Cancun airport but absolutely worth it. The property is stunning and so elegant. The service is incredible from check in to dining to activities. The new French restaurant is great, and we enjoyed our prior favorites of Cueva Siete and Mi Carisa for dinner too. I love that each restaurant has its own signature cocktails. We booked a hydrotherapy circuit and massages at the spa and both were amazing. A couple people that made our stay extra memorable and amazing: Cony was our pool waitress and was amazing!! Our second day there, she saw us setting up our towels and brought us our usual order from the day before - two mezcalitas! Also kept us stocked on ice cold water bottles and was super attentive about making sure all the food I ordered fit my gluten free needs :). Sebastian, Alejandro, and Eric made aquaerobics SO fun!!! We danced and laughed through the activity every day. Mariana was our server for breakfast at Mi Carisa and was so friendly, a ray of sunshine to start the day! Flavio was our favorite dinner waiter of the trip! He was at Mi Carisa. Italian places can be tough for me because I’m allergic to carrots, shellfish, and have a gluten intolerance. He ended up helping me find an entree that I could eat with no worries at all!! (Alfredo with substitutes of gluten free pasta and chicken instead of shrimp). He was so incredibly friendly and helpful. Last but definitely not least, our Local Host Laura was INCREDIBLE. We felt so welcome and at home from the moment we met her. She set up our dining reservations, spa reservations, let us know each day’s activities including the specific artesano experience each day, and even set up surprises in our room for our anniversary and my husband’s birthday. She truly was top notch!!!

    The UNICO 20° 87° Experience

    Wanted to share the outstanding service that was delivered to our group during our stay. There was 18 of us total arriving at different time. The majority of us arrived at the same time and UNICO had transportation standing by at the airport for our transfer. Upon arriving, the group was taken to a greeting room and Isreal and Karen walked us through the check-in process and taking the necessary time to answer any questions. They explained the layout of the resort and reminded us that all evening reservation at the restaurants had been made in advance for our party. Butlers assigned to the group was Isreal and Roger. Both of these gentlemen displayed the utmost professionalism throughout our stay. We were set up with the WhatsApp for communication and their response time to inquiries was impeccable. Our wants and needs were anticipated without fail and handled in a very timely fashion. Karen always made it a point to stop and speak with us when we crossed paths throughout our stay. I think it would be very difficult to make our stay more enjoyable than it was. I look forward to going back and know that UNICO prides itself on its ability to go beyond customers expectations. All employees from welcome, house keeping, ground keeping, pool side servers and restaurant staff are all top notch and friendly. Treat yourself with a stay at UNICO.
