First time at Secrets and will keep coming back. Everything exceeded our expectations - room, property condition, staff, service, food and drinks options. In fact, would be difficult to stay anywhere else after staying at Secrets, this is the next level of all inclusive experience and is absolutely worth the higher price

An Exceptional Stay for Our 50th Anniversary
My wife and I returned to Secrets Vallarta Bay for a two-week stay in celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary. Having visited multiple times, we continue to choose November for its consistently beautiful weather, safe and enjoyable walks to the Malecón boardwalk, warm ocean swimming, and the welcoming atmosphere that keeps us coming back. What truly makes this resort exceptional is the staff. Each visit feels like returning to friends—team members remember us and continually go above and beyond to make our stay special. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality remain the biggest reason we return. The facilities throughout the property are clean, comfortable, and very well maintained, from the rooms to the shared spaces. Dining The resort offers five main restaurants, each providing great food and excellent service Market Café (buffet) – Open for breakfast and lunch. Special thanks to Wendy, Johnathon, Adrian, and Benito for their outstanding service, and to Mayra, the supervisor, who ensured everything ran smoothly each day. Thanks again to the Market and their Chefs returning the Carrot Cake back onto the buffet. It’s the best ever! Portofino (Italian) – Our favourite restaurant on the property, consistently delivering exceptional food and service. Shout-out to Francesco, Eloy, and Lavier for making every visit memorable. Bordeaux (French) – Elegant dining with wonderful dishes. Thank you to Manuel for his attentive and professional service. Himitsu (Asian) – Always an enjoyable experience. A special thanks to Daniel, who took excellent care of us. Mexican - with the best atmosphere, great quality food, and very attentive and pleasant staff. Thanks to Ceasar Karen Yovanil Saul and Edgar. Oceana (Seafood) – Fresh seafood in a beautiful setting. Our appreciation to Jasmine and Elizabeth for their warm and attentive service. We also received exceptional attention in the Preferred Club building. Nirvana, the manager, and José, our butler, were incredibly thoughtful and always ensured every detail of our stay was seamless. The bartenders throughout the resort were consistently friendly and professional—too many to list individually, but all greatly appreciated. A heartfelt thank-you goes to Viviana, our housekeeper, who went out of her way to have our room cleaned every morning while we were out for our daily walk. Her extra effort meant a lot to us. Member Services We also want to acknowledge the professional and respectful service provided by our Member Services representative, Mariana. In addition, Angel gave us an informative and courteous members update with minimal pressure to upgrade—something we truly appreciated. Pools Our only minor concern is the pool setup. While there are three pools, none function as a designated quiet pool. One hosts daily activities and sports and acts as the quiet pool in between where one could swim laps. Occasional football tossing takes place which should be assigned to the swim up bar pool. The second pool features a lively swim-up bar that attracts a party atmosphere, and the third is more of a lounging/wading pool with built-in concrete chairs. A dedicated quiet pool would be a welcome addition for guests seeking peaceful relaxation. Overall Secrets Vallarta Bay continues to offer outstanding hospitality and memorable experiences. Our 50th anniversary stay was everything we hoped for, and we look forward to returning again.

Top notch resort and staff
6th time to this resort. Did preferred this time. Was well worth it. Our butler Alejandro was amazing. The service overall was excellent. Very attentive and friendly. Marianna hosting at the buffet was very friendly and wonderful, Manuel at Bordeaux so lovely, Jocelyn at Oceana was fantastic. Omar and Edgar on the beach were super. It was a fabulous trip

Excellent Resort For Adults!
We enjoyed our 8 day vacation for Thanksgiving 2025 at this adult only resort. The breakfast and lunch buffet are excellent with good selections and cook to order stations, The sea food restaurant for diners is also very good. The large pools and beach areas are well organized with lots umbrellas. We stayed in a Preferred Club room which has a hot tub on the balcony. The services at the resort are excellent. We booked our vacation through Costco.

A must do experience.
The resort far exceeded my expectations. Have been to all-inclusive before but this was really good. The food, service and activities were wonderful. Loved the swim out room!
