Meh…
This is the first time I’ve showed up to a Hyatt and been really disappointed. Several things were broken or dirty in our room. The counters were sticky, no USB ports in the room, room was barely cleaned (shelf broken, mini bar wasn’t restocked before arrival) and there was still a 1990s phone and stained jacuzzi in the bathroom. It desperately needs an update.

Not ideal for a dream wedding.
Came for a beautify destination wedding for my friend, the day of the wedding the staff that was supposed to make her day seamless, was running behind schedule, causing the bride to miss out on most of the day and yet continued to rush her when having moments with family, asked if management could do anything to compensate for the inconvenience and was met with rudeness and unprofessionalism, such a disappointment seeing as how the venue is breathtaking and unforgettable, management left a bad taste in what was suppose to be a happy memory.

Roosters, Rough Pools, and Missing Perks
This resort is set in a beautiful location, but the property, especially the rooms, could use some TLC. Jose, our Preferred Club butler, was truly outstanding. His exceptional service is the main reason we’re giving this stay a 3-star rating. Unfortunately, the resort itself is in need of updates. Our room felt dated and was missing several amenities we paid for, including the liquor, snacks, and upgraded view. The pools were poorly maintained and appeared dirty throughout our stay. Dining was hit or miss. The meals we enjoyed most were at Capers and the shawarma taco stand by the pool, but overall, the food did not meet the quality we expect from a Hyatt-owned resort. A heads-up to light sleepers: the Preferred Club rooms are near a rooster that starts crowing early in the morning and doesn’t stop for hours. The staff was kind and accommodating, but the resort experience overall fell short of expectations.

First trip to PV and won’t be the last!
You want to feel special in a tropical setting, come here! Curb service for our luggage delivered to our room, our concierge ~ Fernanda ~ had everything set for our arrival. Brunch at the Market Cafe, tasty options after an early morning flight that left us lethargic and starving. Follow it up with a visit to the on-site spa for hydrotherapy and a couples massage. We are back to feeling human and ready to enjoy everything this beautiful place has to offer.

Awesome place
This resort is picturesque. It was a great stay, the entertainment is great. Really enjoyed the pools and the spa. The service is TOP Notch!! Big Shout out to Clara Salas for hooking us up with swag and the daily text message to inform us of the daily entertainment and food options and daily drink special. The wait staff was awesome too, we really loved Czar and Sergio, they really took care of us!!
