  Don’t waste your money

  Upon arrival, our room was not fully prepared; the bed was not completely made when we were shown to the room. We had to inquire about our luggage delivery after several hours, as it had not been brought to the room. The resort appeared to be significantly understaffed throughout our stay. We were unable to fully use the amenities associated with being Preferred guests due to staffing shortages and lack of available items, including the resort being out of certain liquors such as Baileys. The main pool area—with two lazy rivers that split off into additional pools—had only one staff member providing cocktail service. The three small Preferred rooftop pools did not have any staff available to serve drinks, requiring guests to retrieve their own drinks if they wished to use these areas. Although advertised as a non-smoking resort, smoking (cigarettes, vaping, and marijuana) occurred openly throughout the property, including pool areas, with cigarette butts found in the sand and around the pools. Outdoor beach furniture was extremely worn, torn, and dirty. Food quality was inconsistent—often undercooked, overcooked, or generally inedible—except at The Grotto, which unfortunately was only available from 11am–6pm (see photos) Dress codes at the restaurants were not enforced. There were feral cats roaming throughout the resort and restaurant areas. Panhandlers were allowed to stand at the beach club gate throughout the day, creating a persistent, uncomfortable environment and preventing a relaxing beach experience. Room service was advertised as 24/7 but was often unavailable. The in-room TV had very limited service and frequently did not work in the evenings. The bathroom sink area had visible grout issues and mold (see photos) A rusty nail remained in the swim-out pool area following a repair made near the end of our stay. Also the swim-out pool was only available to use a few times during our stay due to its lack of cleanliness (see photos) No luggage pick up on the day of check out even though arrangements were made the morning before with the front desk staff Initially communications with Enrique our concierge were great and then after day 4/5 no more updates on day/evening activities or just general check-ins(unless he ran into us on property). And then his last message to me on the what’s up app was him asking for all 10’s when I reviewed the resort.

  One of the best resort to simply relax.

  This is one of the best resorts if you enjoy relaxation. Plenty of pools and areas where you can relax in peace. There wasn't a typical morning chair rush, Plenty of swimming places everywhere. Great food in all of the restaurants and service was amazing.

  Dream vacation to Tulum!

  Love the hotel is beautiful and clean, the food was alright. The breakfast/ lunch buffet needs more variety but overall the experience was good. Loved the beach club and staff was very friendly and helpful.

  Hit or miss, but a good points redemption

  Overall, it is a beautiful hotel. The service was very nice. It was a pain to have to take the shuttle over to the beach club, but the beach was lovely and there were many shuttles available. The staff were always very friendly. It is a small resort and was not peak season so entertainment options were limited. Food was OK. Room service was hit or miss. Our shower was never really hot - it was mostly lukewarm. We got a good Hyatt points deal, so we can't complain too much. The rooms are really beautiful, and the resort itself is very pretty. I don't think we will be back, but we were satisfied with our stay.

  Don’t come to Beach Club - it’s awful

  Hotel lovely but Beach club absolutely awful. Don’t pay extra for preferred club thinking you will get a good beach experience. No staff, no towels, no sunshades that aren’t broken. Absolutely awful. We came down and are just waiting to get the first bus back to the hotel. It has spoiled our view of our holiday so far. I wish we had just stayed at the hotel and never tried the beach. Do not come here if you don’t like sitting in full sun all day.
