Very well maintained and clean resort. We go on an annual trip and Tides is near the top of our list! Highly recommended if you want a relaxing vacation with friendly staff and clean facilities.

5* Except...
Our stay at Secrets Tides was absolutely amazing and very close to a 5* experience. The only area that fell short was the food. While there was a good variety at both the buffet and the restaurants, the meals were consistently served lukewarm rather than hot, which was disappointing for a resort of this caliber. The temperature made a noticeable difference in the overall dining experience. That said, everything else about this resort truly was 5*. If the food temperature issue was addressed, this would easily be a perfect resort.

Can’t wait to go back!
This trip made our annual family vacation one of the best ever. From Teddy in activities (love him!!) to the gentlemen who did the wine tasting, this place was perfection. The restaurants were lovely, the spa was fantastic, the breakfast spread is amaaaazing. Can’t wait to go back!

Great resort and wonderful staff
Had a great time, resort was top notch, food was good. Had no issues, would recommend to anyone. Ezy was our butler and was top notch, Ezy went over and above all my expectations. Yessica did a most wonderful job at Manatees bar, Desirae was stellar at the sugar reef bar and Micheal did an outstanding job at preferred pool bar. Entertainment was great, Queen and Dominican night were my faves. Weather was perfect and virtually no seaweed at the beach. We always stay as preferred but was not needed. Enjoy

The security guard said "welcome home" when I arrived and a more accurate saying would have been welcome to the shake down inn. From check in through check out I was told that the items I had booked and prepaid for months in advance were not available and that if I wanted a nice room, access to the nice pool, a seat on an unbroken chair or good food I had to pay them more money. The upgraded room I paid for turned into a room next to an elevator and the noise went on all night. Then the music started and I was told that I could not move to another room until my vacation was half over. The initial lunch was cold and the beverages were warm and dinner was a low grade of non nutritious protein and cheap carbs. There was an extra charge for everything. The reviews I read must have been written by bots, people who haven't been to nice hotels or people who drank a lot of their cheap alcohol.
