This place is phenomenal—the staff here are truly there to serve. Friendly beyond belief, and extremely fun. First day they even called our room just to ask if we were having fun and if we needed anything. The food quality and quantity is of biblical proportions here. I mean it almost feels sinful with how many options are included as a part of the all-inclusive. Stellar. Bar none. Have no idea how I’m going to go back to cooking for myself. César & Jeovani at Market Cafe were awesome. Always attentive servers and asking about plans for the day. Samara is a wonderful cook there, Armin is awesome as well. The poolside Secrets Entertainment team was also just fantastic. My wife and I were commenting about how difficult of a position this must be to get hired for. These guys are always on—swear they don’t sleep. Of note; Aisha, Jose, Juan, Jonathan from the Secrets Entertainment team were remarkable. They felt like summer camp staff with all their energy. Their English is clearly practiced and adds to the experience in a strong way for those that speak the language. Will be remembering this trip for a lifetime and telling all our family and friends who are going to Cancun to look here. Well done.

Nov 28, 2025Excellent Service; felt overcrowded
There were lots of good things about this hotel as you would expect from a 5 star hotel from such a well known brand but from our perspective it was all too big. I didn’t like not being able to book a restaurant for a specific time so we arrived at 8 o’clock to be told it would be over an hour wait with 17 parties waiting ahead of us. Food in the specialty restaurants was disappointing in quality and in portion size. The beach area was small and cramped and the lower pool areas too busy with lots of reserved beds where people had come down before breakfast and left a few personal items and then left it unoccupied for hours. Things were much better on the 12th floor with its own pool and the excellent Olia Mediterranean restaurant. Best thing about the hotel was the wonderful staff all of which were very friendly and helpful.

I recommend it with my eyes closed!!!!
Lots of food options, everything fresh, and chefs cooking meals right in front of you. Amazing variety of desserts and breads, plus juices and drinks. The entire entertainment team was incredible, and the servers in every area were quick, kind, and very friendly. Night events for all tastes, each space had its own vibe. The restaurants sometimes have waitlists, but you get a notification on the hotel app when your table is ready. Plus, there are plenty of things to do around the hotel while you wait for your spot at any restaurant. Our housekeeper Adriana was amazing with our room, always spotless, fresh, and perfectly organized. Everyone at the front desk, the buffet café, the restaurants, and the entertainment team was exceptional. They all spoke two or more languages and were incredibly friendly. I recommend it with my eyes closed and will come back as many times as I can!

Outstanding, phenomenal!
This was our first holiday in 22 years without our children so we wanted a holiday to remember. WOW! Secrets The Vine did you deliver! Everyone we have met from the bell boys, to restaurant staff and Chantal, our room attendant to Hecto, our butler, you have all been amazing. Jose, Bernabe and Nicole in the Market Cafe delivered outstanding service each and always with a cheery hello. We have been thoroughly spoilt the past 12 days, but sadly all good things must come to an end. Thank you all for making it the holiday we hoped it would be.

Customer Service
We had breakfast at the main cafe and Humberto Bomaca served us with excellence every time. He was so attentive and warm, we decided to request him as our regular server the remainder of our days. Thank you Humberto for making our 1 year anniversary celebration so special!
