Nov 04, 2025Anniversary trip for 3 couples.
Our garden view junior suite was very roomy and had everything we needed! We enjoyed our room. The location was 4th floor in building 2. It was in fairly close proximity to everything. Our view was trees and greenery between the 2 buildings. We had no problems with noise. Room was kept very clean. Housekeepers did a great job. The hair products and soap in the shower were adequate. Our mini bar was kept well stocked with the exception of one day when we did run out of bottled water. They will happily bring you as much as you want. The overall food was better than the other all inclusives I have been in. We really enjoyed the chef's special of steak and lobster at Bluewater grill! The buffet had a very large selection which was pretty much all really good. I loved the fresh fruit and variety of fish available. The Hibachi grill was average to good. Unfortunately I don't think the air conditioning was working the night we were there and it was terribly hot! It was hard to enjoy. Make sure you go on the bridge walk. It was actually one of my most enjoyable activities there. You can see so many colorful Iguanas, turtles, fish and even nesting birds. It was great! Most of our evenings were spent in the Rendezvous Bar in the lobby. This was our absolute favorite because of the excellent help they had there! Alexander was truly amazing and such a neat kid! He was very tolerant and humored that my husband called him "Wells". In addition, Brenda, Yilda and Samuel were some of our favorites. Just a great down to Earth crew! I will definitely miss them! I would have liked to have just brought them all home with me... We had no problem with the sargassum on the beach. Yes, there was some, but it was well managed by the staff. There were a LOT of beach vendors, but usually they understood when politely told you are not interested. All of these people work hard and definitely deserve whatever tip you feel you can leave. Obviously, they would rather have a couple bucks than a 10 cent candy. They deserve that respect. I would be thrilled to be able to return to Secrets Royal Beach. We absolutely loved our trip there and had literally no complaints. They made us feel pampered AND like family. They were a great group!!!! I would give 5 stars!!!!

Denisse in coco cafe.Alicia and Luz in the cafe are beautiful!!! ALEX in showtime was Awesome and Deylin was fantastic!° Nadia in housekeeping. Jean Carlos at Olio.These staff were amazing and kind. Please give them a raise! GREAT SERVICE!!!

Amazing experience
We had a great 10 night stay here in October. Everything was perfect, better than we even imagined it would be. We did the preferred upgrade and would do so again. Some staff to mention: Alberto our butler. Checked in every day and made sure we had everything we needed. Rosa, Damiela and Argemi at the preferred pool. Super friendly and great service. Maria Nelly at the showtime plaza bar - the loveliest waitress, kept our drinks flowing and always had a smile on her face. We will be back!

The resort is well-maintained. You can see workers cleaning and working to keep the resort clean and beautiful all the time. Great location with gorgeous beaches makes this resort a great option for a tropical vacation.

Secrets Royal Beach- Anniversary Trip
Our experience at Secrets Royal Beach was fantastic. We went for our one year anniversary and decided to get the Preferred Club upgrade (so incredibly worth it). Our butler, Alfredo, texted us each morning to explain what was happening for the day and made sure to personally check in one or two times throughout the day to fill in the cracks of our stay so we didn't have to. He was also incredibly genuine and talked to us about Dominican culture, music, cities, and more. He really boosted our trip so much. The Preferred Club was so worth the upgrade. 2-3 extra pools, 3 extra bars, private beach area, upgraded amenities, and better food...what's not to love? The food in almost all of the restaurants was great and all of the staff were very friendly. Special shout-outs to Fany Luz, Balon, Sebastian, Obispo, Alfredo, Carlos, and Deylin who worked so incredibly hard to make everyone feel welcomed, safe, and attended to. Despite the hurricane, everyone made our one year anniversary perfect.
