Another Great Stay at Secrets Royal Beach
Returned to Secrets Royal Beach in November 2025. We have visited Secrets Royal Beach more than 25 times over the last 10 years. Our group enjoys most everything that Secrets has to offer, but we always coordinate travel with people from all over the world to play BEACH VOLLEYBALL during our stay. Always have a great time on the seaweed free sandy beaches and playinjg volleyball at 11am and 4pm EVERY day. Since we spend the majority of our days on the beach our favorite Secrets staff are: FLOWER who organizes the volleyball games and additionally is an excellent volleyball player. Flower has become a true friend of our family and large group of friends. JUAN and REUBEN at the beach Marlin Bar. They are both so friendly and attentive and always remember the drinks we prefer. MARGARITA at the Preferred Pool near the Barefoot Grill. Margarita has been at Secrets for many years and is one of our favorite bartenders. MR SEXY: if you have been to the Barefoot Grill then you certainly know Mr. Sexy (EL SEXY) . He spends hours working over the hot grill serving hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken but always has a smile on his face and is always making jokes and talking with all of the guests. He is a VERY DEDICATED HARD WORKER. And lastly, if you ever get an opportunity to choose your VIP Concierge (butler), Carlos Fabian is one of the best. He checks in with you every day and makes sure that your every need is taken care of. We had another great stay as Secrets and plan to return in March 2026. One little interested activity worth mentioning. Make sure you take a walk on the long boardwalk / bridge that extends from the Dreams Royal Beach lobby area all the way to Portofinos Italian Restaurant near the main gated entrance to Secrets. This boardwalk crossed a large lake where you will see lots of wildlife (herons, egrets, turtles, fish, and large iguanas). Make sure you do this trip during the daylight to take in all of the sights.

Nice sandy beach, beautiful grounds, large resort of about 650 rooms. If you're a foodie, you will be disappointed, the food is average. No wow factor or exceptional taste. Rooms are standard even in preferred area.

Highly recommend!
Had the best time at Secrets Royal Beach! The hotel is so clean, staff are super friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing, drink selection was great, always entertained, couldn’t speak more highly of a resort! Recommend for any group whether you are travelling as a couple / family / friends / even solo! The vibe of the hotel is great and you meet so many friendly people. Big shout out to Melvin and Angel who work at the pool bar and Juldania who works in the main restaurant who took care of us so well and always putting smiles on our faces.
