Nov 28, 2025Our trip to Punta Cana
First experience at a Secrets Adults only resort. Property well looked after although our room location was in a very noisy location. Food was okay but could have been better. Pool areas and bar staff very good. Nightly entertainment was well done. Major drawback was communication with lower level staff whose level of English comprehension was fair and they constantly were making mistakes. Housekeeping, room service, restaurant junior staff!

First DR Trip for my 26th birthday
Overall it was a nice trip very relaxing. I will say that this trip is really for the older crowd so if you’re 40 and above, this is more of your speed not for the young crowd. The food was OK. The drinks were a hit and miss meaning it was good some days and bad some days. Also the room itself was very, very nice and clean. Our hot water did go out a couple times the last 3 days of our stay and also the activities on the resort they were Not really exciting but I would recommend this resort for someone who wants to lay out for a tan where it’s calm and quiet and relaxing. This is not the type of resort for the party type fyi. The excursions outside of the resort was really fun especially monkey land! We paid through the airport and also when it comes to the restaurants in the resort they were OK but the food is mainly based on looks and it’s not on fulfilling your appetite so you don’t really get a actual full entrée. But overall, the best part of the resort I like was the candlelight dinner that they set up on the beach the steak was amazing. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was amazing. It made it feel very special on my birthday, but once again this resort is not for the young crowd mainly for the older crowd like retired 40 and above Also a lot of the staff or people there in general do not speak English so I would try to learn the basics of Spanish. There are different races of people there so not a lot of Americans, the taxis are kinda high and buying a souvenir as well but overall nice trip and good atmosphere and weather

We went for our 25th wedding anniversary and booked preferred club room. I am going to keep this short and sweet. Butler Ivalise was nonexistent and did absolutely NOTHING for our special anniversary. Resort was nice and most of remaining staff is sweet and helpful. Lacking night/entertainment and lunch food and day activities. Secrets maroma is the best place and we do NOT recommend this resort.

The best 5 star hotel I’ve ever been too. Everything was top notch from the food, to the staff to the entertainment. I’d definitely be staying here and would highly recommend anyone visiting Punta Cana to stay at this amazing resort. The place felt like heaven, I absolutely loved my experience and can’t wait to visit again!

Could be great but night entertainment sucks
Best service ever , great restaurants and nice grounds. But it stops there. Need more chairs in quiet pool area. Entertainment is the worst we have experienced - visited over 15 resorts in Punta Cana. No good options after dinner but go to bed. Would not return unless major changes were done for evening entertainment area and performers.
