Staying at Secrets was wonderful! My husband and I really enjoyed our time here. The staff was very friendly, they definitely treat you like fam. Room service was really good, timely and had great selections. Staff that went above and beyond were Denisse from Coco Cafe and Reyes at front desk. We will be returning next year.

Unbeatable Honeymoon
Truly amazing atmosphere and welcoming staff able to service all our needs. A couples honeymoon paradise and great value for what we spent. The transportation and entertainment were great

Dec 13, 2025If food is important to you, don’t go.
Not worth the stay, the food was very underwhelming and many doughs were undercooked (pizza, pastries, and gyoza). The buffet lacked variety, and flavor. The drinks were good and they didn’t skimp out on the alcohol. They quality of the liquor is probably bottom shelf. You have to pay to be a preferred member to use two of the restaurants and the “lazy river” (it’s a straight line). We saw a lot of people with special bags they got from the hotel with little gifts, and when we asked other guests they said they had had gotten them when they walked into their room, but they weren’t preferred guests, so that didn’t make sense. We went there for our honeymoon, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Best Time Ever!
Our 2nd visit to this fabulous hotel for my 70th Birthday. We visited last year in preferred but spent most of our time around the main pool so we just booked standard this time . We felt we hadn’t really missed out on much by booking standard for the difference in price and value, we had a wonderful experience but this visit exceeded that with the hotel having a totally different vibe . Whilst a honeymooners, couples anniversary, birthday destination last year we were 3 ladies and it was noticeable. This year we enjoyed the company of groups of ladies and gents. The animation team were non existent last year , this year we were provided with lots of fun, great activities around the pool / beach and the best entertainment. Our room 1125 was very spacious, we requested another bed in our room as we were a group of 3 and it was immediately arranged . Our room was spotless with plenty of provisions and housekeeping did an excellent job for 2 weeks. Our jacuzzi bath looked rather grubby but we had no intention of using it as we had a great shower. Beds and pillows were a little firm for our liking but our lack of sleep for most of our holiday was due to really noisy neighbours arguing. The main reason we love it here is because of the high standard and quality of the food and drinks as I am extremely particular about food due to health issues . Only once did we struggle to find something for dinner in the buffet , always a huge choice. Our favourite restaurant this year was The Bluewater Grill, we visited several times and received excellent service. Best of the evening entertainment was the White Party, absolutely great! The animation team have totally changed this hotel with fun and lots of dancing which is one of the reasons we love to visit Punta Cana. The disco was still not open but dancing continued in the main lobby area.The animation team totally made our holiday as we enjoy activities and dancing and they are the reason we will be back next year. We really hope the hotel will take care of them as they work hard, long hours. Big shout out to the amazing: Francis, The King, Junior,J Lo, Georji, Shakira, Mr Fire, Chocolate, Juan etc, etc they were brilliant entertainers and always took the time to chat to see if we were having a good time; we loved them all Lovely to see Clara again outside the Bluewater Grill and Marlon and Victor inside, thank you for everything . Huge thanks to Angel, Melvyn, Alex and Wilson at the pool bar for great cocktails and entertainment. “We love you, my family” Thanks Secrets Royal Beach for a wonderful and memorable 70th birthday celebration , for the lovely cake provided by housekeeping, for the excellent service provided from reception, bars/coffee shop/restaurants throughout the resort . We look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Great Experience.
Great experience, we were comfortable and enjoyed every aspect of this resort. Food was amazing, staff were so attentive and provided a great environment.
