Secrets has an amazing resort with a very caring and helpful staff. I can't wait to go back to visit and wake up to a delicious omelet that is customized to my liking.

Hotel and grounds beautiful. Pool and beach very clean service was great. Bartenders and staff were fun to interact with. The food was horrible. We had one good meal the entire 7 days there. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was cold. They should focus on quality vs quantity . I would not go back to this site again as it was only an all inclusive plan and the food was boring and just not good. My friend got sick from the sushi

Nov 06, 2025DIAMOND RING STOLEN
I visited here for one week with my family. The trip was generally nice, service on the whole was decent- food adequate. On our last day as we were leaving my Mum had realised that her diamond rings were missing. They had been left in a jewellery box at the bottom of her suitcase throughout the trip, never left the room. Security went through all of her belongings and reassured, checked the room a few times over which I do appreciate- they did their job. But they did not once acknowledge that their own staff could have stolen it by saying ‘our staff have been told not to take things’. I’ve read other reviews now on trip advisor now and in hindsight have seen plenty of other travellers have had their jewellery and cash stolen from this hotel. This is 5 star resort and I cant believe the level of service has culminated into this. I have stayed in many other hotels across the world and have never had an incident such as this. DO NOT GO HERE.

Vacation Of A Lifetime!
Although this was our first visit to the Dominican, we would highly recommend staying at Secrets Royal Beach resort in Punta Cana! We couldn't imagine staying any where else and will definitely be back next year. Upon arrival we were greeted with smiling faces and genuine kindness that we experienced our entire trip. Alberto was our phenomenal butler and will request him every time we return! He was very attentive, made sure we started our day right with a schedule of the daily activities/entertainment and always greeted us with a smile in passing and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. If there was anything we needed he was quick to make sure our requests were taken care of. We give Alberto more than 10 stars!! We have never felt more pampered, truly treated like a king and queen! The awesome coffee baristas Denisse and Nery that took care of us numerous times a day also did so with a smile on their faces. As for our nightlife, the amazing bartenders Melvin, Julio Pio, Ari, Miguel and Dionicio kept us entertained while we enjoyed our tasty beverages every day. We honestly didn't eat or drink anything we did not like, everything was delicious! Santos from Amstar was also very friendly in assisting us with planning our excursions that we will remember forever! Everyone that we came in contact with were sincerely kind and made us feel like we were part of the family. This was a vacation we will never forget and can't wait to do it again!

Amazing resort - GO!
Just back from two weeks at this amazing resort. The hotel is gorgeous, rooms are great, entertainment is top notch, food is amazing…..but the staff are the real jewel in its crown. We felt like we really made friends…..crazy legs, hot coffee, the gorgeous lady at Sugar Reef, Ruben, Jose and Melvin. But the most amazing person we met was Flower. She went out of her way to make every day and night fun. Especially Halloween, which was an amazing night. Please visit this fab resort and get to know the wonderful staff, whilst enjoying the amazing facilities. Do the Hibachi, do the sushi lesson and get up early and watch the sunrise. We weren’t preferred and didn’t feel like we missed out at all. Just go, enjoy and know I’ll be jealous as hell you’re there 😉
