Apr 29, 2025Beware of cigarette smoke and beach vendors staring at you while you sit & relax.
We recently returned from a 4-day stay at Secrets Royal Beach. Overall, the resort is clean, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the food is decent. However, they allow smoking all over the resort -- there is a CONSTANT smell of cigarettes (and cigars) at the beach, pool areas, walkways, and you can even smell it sometimes permeating from the walls in the room. It's disgusting if you're a non-smoker. Also, the beach is FLOODED with vendors constantly bothering you to buy a souvenir, rent a boat, etc. There were literally 6 men on the beach STARING at your beach chairs all day long, all weekend. Any time you stood up to walk to the ocean, they hounded you to rent a boat, do a water activity, etc. They hollered at someone doing beach yoga, and called her sweetheart. DO NOT go here if you want a romantic, quiet, relaxing getaway. The cigarette smoke and beach vendors are so terrible -- I will never come here again.

Apr 28, 2025“Had The Time of My Life”
I had the pleasure of spending my vacation at Secrets Royal Beach in Punta Cana. The facility was immaculate, the food was top notch, and the drinks were continuously flowing but all of this could not happen but for the workers we met they were part of a well oil machine to make this happen. We begin everyone morning with breakfast where we receive excellent service from the servers in the buffet. Gabreil, Ramoncito, and Sandra I had a cappuccino with Bailey served without having to ask every morning what a way to get my day started. We had the opportunity to meet Windy and Lady Poolside every day to get our much-needed beverages, they provided excellent service. One person I cannot leave out is Alexander at the Rendezvous Lobby Bar, which is the best bar in my opinion. Alexander provided professional service and was always upbeat with tricks at the bar that kept the party going. Nightly we went to the entertainment, and we were not disappointed we enjoyed every theme night and Maria service was the best as she served us with a smile. I will go back and bring more friends and family. We celebrated my husband ‘s birthday with 11 people in attendance and we could not have picked a better place. I plan to go back just to meet with all the people that made our vacation one to remember. Thanks to everyone we met that served us every day. Appreciate you guys!

Apr 28, 2025Nice holiday but had some issues
When we checked we were told that we could upgrade $1000 per couple for vip experience, this made us feel second class guests who was not really welcome if we didn’t upgrade. Secrets please do not hard sell the VIP upgrade. I was celebrating my big birthday and the hotel did not do anything special for my big birthday but if you were VIP you got banners champagne and chocolates. Our room was damp which made me unwell we was eventually moved after 5 days. The staff in bars and restaurants are amazing always polite and willing to help. Main pool music is very loud and quiet pool unable to get a sun lounger. Food choices excellent and staff in restaurants are amazing.

We got married here in April of 2025. Danilka was our coordinator and Ismael was our butler. We got upgraded to preferred right away by the resort and we truly felt like the most important people there. Between these two, every request was met big or small. We felt so valued as guests and we cannot wait to go back and enjoy this experience again. From the entrance to the resort everything was breathtaking. The rooms from what we saw of our wedding guests were all the same, modern, clean and well kept. The lobby was beautiful and everything felt very close together which we loved. The resort has a big resort feel but is also cozy and close. It’s nice that you can share the Dreams side but we never left Secrets. Everything we needed was there, the restaurants we tried were great. The lobby had lots of entertainment options every night and there’s always something going on at the beach or pool. The barista’s Celenia and Lady at the pool were so helpful, cheerful and kind. We really enjoyed every moment with, they made lots of effort to make us laugh and enjoy our time together At first we thought we’d need to be up early for chairs but found that most times there was always something great spots to sit even if you go down after breakfast. Even when the resort was busier we never had a problem finding great spots. Gabriella, Maria, Yira at the spa were also amazing and these ladies did our massages and bridal makeup. There’s a beautiful walkway that travels between the resorts where you can overlook the edge and see turtles and all different kinds of beautiful birds. The resort is close to golf courses and lots of great little shops in and around the town. We can’t say enough good things about this resort, we’re not ones to visit the same place twice but we definitely found our destination for next year.

Another Great Secrets resort!
A good experience for sure! Not as new as some of the other secrets I have stayed at, but still very much on brand for them. Amazingly friendly staff, Extremely clean facilities, and some great variety when it comes to food, drinks, pools, and beaches! By far one of the nices beaches I have ever had the opportunity to stay at. The cleanest of water and softest of sand EVER!
