Unlimited Vacation Club - SCAM
Decent place but you will be overwhelmed at the way they push the Unlimited Vacation Club on you. They will lie and tell you anything to get you to purchase into the UVC. Don't be fooled and do your Homework.

Let common sense prevail!
Stunning resort, one of the nicest pools I never saw, due to my view being obstructed by a row of empty cabanas!! Such a shame that the company puts the look of the pool ahead of the CUSTOMERS experience. I believe the phrase is “ Fir coat and no knickers” Such a simple fix to massively improve the overall customer experience!! Put the cabanas where the sun beds are, and put the sun beds poolside!! So simple yet so hard to get the management to put customers first!!

Fabulous Hotel
We booked this hotel after reading the reviews on trip advisor following a poor experience at a Royalton Hotel the year before in Jamaica. We stayed from the 26.09.25 - 09.09.2025 and are from the UK. It was our first stay in a Secrets hotel. Hopefully this review will help you chose if you want to book: The check in was a little slow, although welcome drinks were offered which was nice. An upgrade to the preferred club was offered but declined at a cost of $2000. This was because if we were to spend the extra money we would have done this at the point of booking in the UK. Our room (2310) had a tropical view facing lots of greenery and next to the Dreams hotel buildings. It could be a little noisy in the evening as we could hear the entertainment from Dreams but this did not bother us at all and did not go on too late. The room was spacious. The floors were swept daily and towels changed every few days. We did find a random pair of bikini bottoms in the wardrobe on arrival - they went in the bin of course. We did have to ask ever evening for coffee creme for the following morning, which was always completed but we could never work out why this wasn't replaced at the time the coffee was replenished. Minor issue that did not affect our overall experience. We ate in the following restaurants Blue Water Grill - steaks were lovely, staff really friendly but dont order the Giant Burger unless you are super hungry haha .....we assumed it would be a double burger oh no it was the size of a dinner plate and came out with a fanfare. Lots of people took photos and we had a great laugh. It was too big to eat :) Olio - Mediterranean options, we had pasta dishes which were hot and lovely. Wear your bug spray and light clothing as this is semi uncovered/outside next to the beach area. Bordeaux - this was our favourite, staff were lovely the food was excellent, we had steak and chicken for mains, pate, asparagus and nicoise salad for starters. Portofino - this was an Italian at the Dreams hotel next door and was lovely. It felt more semi buffet style as you served your own starter and dessert but there was plenty of options. The staff were lovely here too and nothing was too much trouble for them. We ate at the Mexican El Patio. On the first occasion we weren't so keen, the waiter was a bit odd and the service and food was not as good as the other places that we had eaten. However, we tried it again and were really pleased. I had fajita and pork tomahawk which were both lovely. The buffet restaurant is as you would expect, lots of choice for breakfast and dinner We didn't eat there at lunch time so cant comment. We chose to eat most days at the beach grill, burgers/hotdogs and salads. We were served by El Sexy who was hilarious and kept the hotel guests entertained which his flamboyant style. During the day we chose to sit at the quiet pool area rather than round the busier pool which had a swim up bar. There was waiter service regularly with drinks. Jose V was so kind, friendly and is a credit to the hotel. In addition when Ruddy (waiter) found out it was my husbands birthday he presented him with a watermelon full of beer which was a nice touch, everyone round the pool sung happy birthday. We normally sit on the beach and swim in the sea but the red flag was on display most days and the sargassum was plenty - there had been a storm prior to our arrival. It wasn't the fault of the hotel and in hindsight we should have taken this into consideration when booking but didn't, it is well documented that the beach/sea can be affected by this but we took a chance. We still had a lovely holiday and it wouldn't put us off returning. In summary, lovely clean hotel caters for guests who prefer it a bit quieter in addition to those who like the livelier vibe of the Caribbean. The staff are the best we have ever encountered at any hotel and there are plenty of food and drink options for your stay. Based on our experience we would book a Secrets hotel again.

Great Stay at Secrets Royal Beach! Will visit again...
We were guests at the Secrets Royal Beach property from September 21 - 26, 2025. We saw the property while guests of Dreams Royal Beach in 2023 and determined that we wanted to stay here during a future visit to Punta Cana, given it was all adult. The online reviews were extremely helpful in making plans for this visit. I’m glad to say that we were not disappointed with our stay. We were offered a chance to upgrade to Preferred during check-in ($210/night) however we declined given we are not big drinkers and prefer going to the beach over the pool. This was the slow season so we had no issues getting chairs on the beach or pool. We were somewhat surprised that there was a fee to use the pool beds however there was enough other seating for everyone. We spent a lot of time in the Hydrotherapy area, which was enjoyable. We also enjoyed the evening entertainment, especially the Beyonce show. We thought the food was amazing, better than any other All-Inclusive resorts that we have visited. We liked the hot beverage station in the buffet (we steeped our tea) and had omelets made to order every day. Our best meal was at the Bluewater Grill consisting of the Crab Cakes, Beef Short Ribs and Crème Brulé. All staffers that we encountered wanted to ensure that we had the best possible time at this property. A special shout out to: Name Location Eliezer Bellman Cindy Front Desk Daschila La Riviera Ramoncito La Riviera Juldania La Riviera Mari Hydrotherapy Jacobs Bluewater Grill Yordaliza Bluewater Grill Franshesko Worker who brought us ice when the ice machine was out We look forward to visiting SRB again and would recommend the resort to anyone looking for an all adult experience.
