Nov 13, 2025The secret of Secrets Royal Beach
My stay at Secrets Royal Beach was wonderful. From check-in until the moment we left, our butler—Wonderful Warnes—took care of absolutely everything. If we had a question or concern, he had it handled before we even had to ask. I have vacationed in Punta Cana many times and stayed at various resorts, and my stay at Secrets Royal Beach has truly been one of my favorites. Our bartenders—Ranchy, Rander, and Carlos at the Preferred Pool Bar, Manatee’s, and Robert at the Preferred Lobby Bar—were always smiling, joking with us and other guests, laughing, and making sure our beverages were perfect. Their great energy and attentive service added so much to our experience.

Luxury
Firstly the bad,On arrival checking in, we were welcomed with a hot towel, but no drink. When you spend that sort of money you expect a drink whilst waiting for the slow check in which took about 25 minutes. Once we got to the front of the queue it was clear why check in was slow - the sales pitch for the preferred club. Absolutely ridiculous. I knew it was coming via reviews before we arrived but to get the map out and circle whilst saying firmly 'You do not get access to here, here, here, here, here, and here' About half of the complex was then blocked out.We have just flown 9 hours from the UK, and spent a fortune to do so - I do not want an aggressive sales pitch. When we got to the room, the bathroom around the bathtub was dirty and the jacuzzi button did not work. We did not complain and just left it. The good / exceptional. The food here was beyond expectations. By far the best food I have ever had on an all inclusive holiday. The international buffet at breakfast and lunch was beyond brilliant.The Steak, french and asian restaurant all brilliant.The rooms were lovely, beds comfy, cleaners great, mini bar service was stocked up well.The room service was quite prompt, no waiting around. The beach was clean. The Exceptional?Angel at the pool bar. By far THE BEST server at this hotel and id go as far as saying the best ive ever had on holiday. Probably the most relaxing luxury holiday I have ever had.

Hands down, best vacation!!
What an amazing time with even more amazing people at Secrets Royal Palm! From the very first greeting to our final goodbyes, this trip truly exceeded all expectations. Our butler, Ismael, went above and beyond to ensure every moment of our stay was effortless and enjoyable. Whether it was arranging dinner plans or tracking down a Milky Way at 10 p.m., he made sure we had absolutely nothing to worry about! A big thank you also goes to Sebastian, our wonderful bartender at the pool bar — always friendly, attentive, and full of great drink recommendations. His cheerful energy made our afternoons by the pool even better. Shout-out to Wilson as well for his great service and welcoming smile! We can’t forget Shakira, Flower, Jorgi and Junior. From our very first interaction, Junior’s positive attitude and genuine warmth stood out. He’s not only knowledgeable and professional but also an incredible dancer who knows how to get the party started while keeping everything fun and respectful. These incredible individuals — along with many others — made our vacation truly memorable. The resort, food, and especially the staff are second to none. We’re already planning our next trip back! Hands down, one of the best vacations we’ve ever had.

Amazing experience
Everything exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding, and the à la carte restaurants were excellent as well. The service was exceptional, making the whole stay feel truly luxurious. The rooms were spotless, the beach was beautifully maintained, and there was virtually no sargassum. We loved every aspect of this resort.

We upgraded to be Preferred Members, which offered us some nice perks (like the Butler and Preferred dining options). Rooms were large, clean, and came for day cleaning and turndown at night. Booked because of reviews about offering many gluten-free options and this was the case from the buffet, to the specialty restaurants, poolside grill, and bars. Beautiful resort, just a lot of walking, especially if wanting to explore the Beaches part of the resort complex.
