Nov 29, 2025Excellent Vacation Resort with fantastic staff
The staff at this resort went over and above service expectations. Always looking after us and asking if there is anything else that could be done for us. Follow up at preferred lounge how our day was a real special touch. Special mention to Daniel “Rojo”, Eduardo, Jesus in the Preferred Lounge. Lily, Jose and Yesenia at Rosewater. The Sommeliers Samuel, Frida, Tomas but especially Ramirez. Mario and Daniel at the pool and Adrian security keeping us safe around The resort and Charlie Boy with the drinks on the beach. As well to the Management that took the time to introduce themselves to us and ask about our stay… Gerardo, Raul, Jorge, and Rene for having dinner with us.

Will absolutely be back.
Will absolutely be back. I've never been to a resort with so many incredibly helpful and genuinely kind staff members - I'd like to mention a few specifically that made our trip amazing. Entertain ment staff at Secrets - Luis (aka Spicy Luis) - he knew most people by name and worked so hard to get engagement from the vacationeers. He is a credit to your organization. Urbano at the Secrets pool kept our drinks full and food orders coming - great guy! We loved Eduardo in the Preferred Club for the BEST drinks - and when he was off Antonio was a close second! My husband and I returned to out favourites places often so luckily we got to know Lily & Jose at Rosewater - so friendly and went out of their way to make sure my husbands gluten intolerance was adhered to without constant reminders. Coquette was another fav - we had heard mixed review but after going once we returned another 2 times. The French Onion Soup, Escargots and Chicken Supreme were our favs - and our servers Jorge and Enrique were incredible on all levels. Their boss Luis often checked in as well to make sure all was going well - we felt valued and appreciated. The only others that should be named specifically are Mario and Daniel at the Secrets pool - they NEVER stop helping with towels, finding chairs and moving umbrellas to the perfect shaded spot. I'm looking forward to a return visit and hope these incredible people are still there when we do. In the “negative” category - there wasn’t much… I mean, the beach isn’t great but if you don’t know that arriving you have not done enough research. The infinity pool on the secrets side with ocean views gave me the best of both worlds. Our room door was REALLY hard to close - the frame has shifted - our room door was not fully closed a couple times. Otherwise our room was in excellent condition. There was a musty smell but we have come to expect it in Caribbean locations. And finally, I wish we had been made aware the gift shop was closing - I went in the first day with intent to go back and purchase but then it was emptied out and no reason given... I would have planned differently.

Nov 29, 2025Nice resort but the ocean is very rocky and not swimmable. We were two couples stayed at Secrets for 7 days.
Stayed at Secrets for one week. Nice resort but we won’t go back there again and I would not recommend Secrets Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa. The reason is mainly the food and the restaurants, especially the buffet where the food choices for lunch were extremely limited and simply underwhelming. The restaurants are on the Breathless side and only Rosewater is on the Secrets side and really the only restaurant that offered delicious meals and great service. I would like to recognize Edoardo and Jesus at the Secrets Preferred Club bar for their outstanding service, attentiveness and professionalism. I don’t drink alcohol and Edoardo always surprised me with delicious nonalcoholic drinks. I’d like to also recognize Mario and Daniel at the towel service booth for their kindness and always being very friendly and super helpful in assisting us in finding chairs either on the beach or by the pool.

Another Amazing Stay at Secrets!
This was my third experience with a Secrets location in Mexico. I LOVE THEM! Great, relaxing stay! They are very accommodating. We LOVED our room. We loved the food, and we loved the overall experience.

Quiet, Beautiful, Relaxing and Great Drinks
The room was always clean, spacious and beautiful. The resort was gorgeous and extremely accommodating. There was a surprising amount of activities and options available. HUGE SHOUTOUT to EDUARDO in the premium lounge bar!! He was the best! Every interaction with him was amazing. He’s kind, thoughtful and made the most delicious drinks. I’d go anywhere he was bartending just for him. Another big shoutout to ANGEL he was always the life of the party and made everything fun! The resort is a bit far from the rest of town and the activities so it’s perfect if you’re looking to just have a nice relaxing resort experience. The spa was one of the highlights of our trip! It was so relaxing and truly gorgeous facility. Our masseuses were so great and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I’m so sorry to say I’ve forgotten her name. I had a great time!! There was a couple restaurants we loved and returned to over and over again. The cafe was delicious, the Italian restaurant was my favourite on the breathless side. The secrets restaurant also had great selection everytime with great service from JESUS. So friendly and accommodating. Thank you all!
