Great location and laid back experience! Being able to use the Breathless amenities made for an exceptional experience. Secrets is perfect for anyone wanting the best of both worlds. Will definitely return.

Decent resort, limited restaurants and bars for the Secrets resort. Had to go to Breathless resort for restaurants and more selection of bars.

Booking my next stay now.
The hotel was amazing, the service was even better. Everyone was really nice Danny at the pool, spicy luis with the entertainment. hands down the best bar preferred club with Eduardo Jesus and Alfredo were all amazing they need a raise

Another positive stay at Secrets Riviera Cancun
We just returned from our second visit to this property. First time was in November of 2021. Overall, the experience was in line with what we remembered. Pros: Enjoyed the entertainment team especially Luis and Manny. They kept you laughing and engaged. We especially enjoyed the Preferred Club. Eduardo, Antonio and Jorge took excellent care of us day and night. Shout out to Mar at the Secrets pool and Edwin at the Breathless pool for their outstanding service. Our room was great and we had no complaints. Housekeeping was on top of it daily. We spilt our time between the Secrets pool and the middle Breathless pool. Both have their benefits and it is nice to have the option to choose. We didn't go to the DJ pool. Cons: The food was good but average. We ate a little earlier than most (around 6:30) so we avoided the long waits you read about. We did see lots of people waiting to be seated when we were leaving each restaurant. The beach is smaller than 4 years ago. Its better on the Secrets end but still small. The water is rocky at the shoreline and the water quality was poor. If you are a person that wants to be in the ocean, this is not the resort. If you just want to be on a soft, sandy beach and enjoy the views, this is fine. The Hibachi reservation system needs improvement. You have to use the app and log on at midnight if you want to get a seating time. If you are in a larger group, you each need to log in and hope you can all get the same time. Not a great system. The shows were decent and we enjoyed the ones we saw. Overall we found everyone to be friendly and didn't have any issues.

Stay at Secrets
We really enjoyed our stay at the Secrets Riviera Cancun. The service was excellent and the staff went above and beyond. Eduardo at the preferred club makes the best spicy margarita and was great to hangout with for a before dinner cocktail. We also enjoyed being able to use the amenities and restaurants on the Breathless side of the resort.

Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Hotel Spring Break Policy - Student Groups (Spring Breakers) are not permitted at Hotel. student group consist of those that travel without parent supervision or a responsible adult in each room. This could refer to but not limited to high school students or college students booking multiple rooms. The hotel reserves the right to deny lodging to any reservations of this type.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.
