Edwardo, Jorge, Jose, and Antonio in the secrets preferred club were great at providing service and getting to know us. They were attentive and remembered what we enjoyed drinking and also made unique drinks for us. Luis for the pool entertainment was incredibly fun and did a great job with all the daily activities. The food at most restaurants seemed to mostly always came out as room temp but the quality was fine. Not good or great. Rosewater had the freshest quality food but the quality was different day to day. The sand at the beach is very soft and walkable however it is tricky to swim in the ocean because it is very rocky for the first five feet or so in the water. The rooms were very nice, clean at arrival and room service cleaning was good. We did the preferred club and I feel that we did not receive many extra benefits to the preferred status besides getting the club bar which has great bartenders that work earlier and later than other bars and the club also has snacks.

I highly recommend Secrets Riviera Cancun. My husband and I had a great time. We have been to many Secrets and this ranks high! Our meals were excellent at every restaurant. And the staff was the best. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. But I would be remiss to not give specific recognition to the following people that gave us extra special treatment: * Our Secrets concierge Daniel and UVC representative Ivan worked as a perfect team, taking care of anything we needed, in fact many times before we even thought to ask! * Secrets Pool concierge Daniel. What a great guy. Excellent at his job and very attentive and informative! * Entertainment Team Luis and Milly. Fabulous personalities! * Wait staff - excellent service from: - Jesus, Preferred Club bartender remembered our names and drinks the whole trip - very impressive - Jorge at Coquette - Mauricio at The Strip Grill - Alberto at Rosewater - Baltazar (sp?) who served our romantic dinner on the beach - Victor the teppanyaki chef at Silk City - sooo good!

Staff are amazing as is the resort
Alexander is the beverage / bar manager, one of the best in the business. Edwin and his brother Roger were also top notch Gents. A great stay with unbelievable staff. Also Luis at the pool activities deserves a mention. One thing that needs to be improved is the food. 6 out of 10 at best. The breakfast buffet for eggs, sausages even coffee was seldom hot. The beach is not the best but most reviews already mention this. It’s a great place to stay, improve the food and there is nothing to complain about.

Under whelmed
Nice facility, bar and pool staff was great. Evening meals were underwhelming with poor service. Would avoid if looking for a couples only experience.

A Perfect Stay—Again!
This was our second time staying at this holiday resort, and it once again exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and remembered, which added an extra special touch to the experience. We want to give a special thank-you to the wonderful team members who made our stay even more memorable: Mario, Daniel, Xavier, Mari, Louise, David, and Garcia. Their warmth, professionalism, and kindness truly stood out. Our room was spacious, spotless, and perfectly comfortable, with an ocean view that made every morning feel like a postcard. The food options were fantastic—fresh, varied, and full of flavor. Whether it was breakfast by the pool or dinner at one of the themed restaurants, every meal felt like a treat. What really stood out, as always, was the atmosphere. The resort strikes the perfect balance between relaxation and fun. There were activities and entertainment available every day, but it never felt overwhelming or intrusive. It was easy to unwind, explore, and enjoy at our own pace. Returning here confirmed why we loved it the first time: consistent quality, warmth, and a true sense of escape. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already thinking about visit number three. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable, carefree getaway!
