Cancun Family Squad
Our 1st Family trip to Mexico 🇲🇽 at SPB was “AMAZING!”We met some other families as well from Texas and UK, which was great to see. As well as met some very nice people from all around the world. Witnessed a wedding almost every day there too 🥰 Shot out to Our butler’s Demi & Benji who were fantastic, and made our stay extra memorable. Can’t forget all the wonderful servers from Eduardo “whoot-whoot” at Preferred pool, Anna at Market Cafe who remembered our names and what drinks we ordered for breakfast, lunch or poolside. They really go the extra mile! Our favorite restaurant was Portofino for dinner. Room service knocked it out of park too! Desserts at Coco Cafe were “perfecto” late at night. Best lunch is buffet at Market Cafe, along with multiple dessert options. All in all, we enjoyed our 5 nights (6/6-6/11) in our Preferred OceanView room. It was great that we were located next to each other. The accommodation was 5 stars ⭐️ and we were even able to enjoy the beach and get in ocean 🌊. They really work hard on making your stay the most enjoyable experience possible! Loved all the pools and daily activities. Didn’t do much at night, other than see the Mexican Fiesta. That sun wiped us out, or alcohol?! My only issue with this resort is that they didn’t offer the water activities like kayaks, hobby cats etc like we had at Secrets Maroma Beach Resort. (We are beach people and it would have been awesome!)

Honeymoon Trip
This resort was practically perfect! Ana and Raul were amazing butlers, and the people at the spa were fantastic, specifically Diego and Laura! Perfect getaway destination if you just want to relax and enjoy yourself in a great environment.

The best resort and experience I have had in 14 years!
This place is TOP notch. Rafa, Ángel, Coni, Monserrat, Gerry, and “Taco” (room service) treated us like family. So much so that I had lost a hat in the rain and was departing in 2 hours; Ángel responded to my message while he was not even at work yet. He was able to reach out to the right employees at the resort to find my hat. The “whatsapp” is a way the resort allows you to communicate with the butlers and employees, and it just goes to show that they are willing to help and it is more to them than just a “job.” Other people we met were honest and hardworking, but these people went above and beyond. The resort itself was absolutely stunning. Every single detail is designed beautifully- felt like i was in a magazine from the restaurant, to the rooms, to even the restrooms! The rooms themselves were clean and updated. I loved you could connect your netflix account to the TV. The bed and sheets were so fluffy and nice- so much so I would love to buy the same exact kind for my bed at home. There was some lovely aroma in certain areas of the resort that I also would love to know and have at my home. I also loved that on the app, I could request a cleaning or maintenance service. It was seamless. The food at the restaurants was PERFECT! There was not 1 bad dish. The serving sizes were the perfect amount- I was able to get appetizers, main dishes, and desserts and not feel as if I was wasting food. The drinks were great. We mostly drank champagne, but any other drink we had was also great. (I do wish this resort had chamoy for some Mexican inspired drinks like mangonadas and had Dr. Pepper, but not a deal breaker whatsoever. This is the only things I could think of that was just shy of perfection.) The coffee shop was open 24 hours and was incredible!!! They also had little bites, desserts, and ice cream. It was perfect to be able to go anytime. We visited the spa twice and it truly was a perfect experience. The massages by F— (3 letter name, started with F and cannot remember) and Livi were excellent. The hydrotherapy was also awesome. The shower I took afterwards had an outdoor area that was amazing. I would definitely recommend doing a service or two! After visiting multiple nice all inclusives, I can say this place was by far the best and worth the money. Compared to excellence, Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Zilara, other Secrets, etc in both Cancun and Jamaica, this one was elite. I will rate this resort 5 out of 5, but do have 2 recommendations. The check in- process was not flawless. My parents checked in as preferred, while my sister in I were regular. Despite us being grown adults, out of safety concerns being out of the country, we always try to be close. Rather than keeping us together through the check in process, we were separated, despite our parents’ names being on the room reservation. The employees then tried to upsell us to the preferred. We were unable to contact each other at the time due to connection, so I walked over to the preferred area. I felt as if I was not “allowed” to be in that area, and got very worked up. I do not think the employees meant to make me feel as if I was less than, but it could have been avoided. My sister and I ended up paying more to become preferred- definitely the way to go because our butlers were amazing! I would recommend going forward that if parties are different levels, they are kept together. This is out of the resort’s hands, but the way the wind was blowing, we came across stool in the ocean multiple times. As a family, we only stay at the ocean, as we have pools at home we can enjoy. It was a bit alarming how many bowel movements we saw. We made the management aware of the issue when we checked out. It was not coming from this resort, but I am unsure if it is from illegal dumping from boats, bad piping, or other people down the coastline…. But there should be some investigating into the issue, as everything else with this resort is without issue. Again, I am not sure if anything can be done about this. Despite my 2 tips, I WILL be back. We are already attempting to see if we can come back in December. It was by far the best vacation and resort experience of my life. I felt like this was the NYC Plaza hotel of resorts. I don’t have enough words to describe how incredible it was.
