  Best hotel, staff, and experience!!!!

  We stayed/held our wedding at secrets playa Blanca & and I have NOTHING but amazing things to say about the resort and the staff. We stayed in a preferred swim out and had Ana and Leticia as our butlers and they MADE our experience amazing. You must visit Jorge at the pool as he will brighten your day! I HIGHLY recommend visiting this hotel, you will not regret it. We had 70 people attend for our wedding and we are all a bunch of hotel critics. There wasn’t a single thing anyone had a complaint about!

  One of the best, but still some room for improvement

  The good: - Service is the best of any resort we’ve ever been to. And it’s everywhere - the building 5 concierge (Benji) was outstanding. The pool concierge (Jose’) was outstanding. All of the pool waiters, especially Martin, were outstanding. Those are just the names we captured. Every waiter in the restaurants, every staff member we bumped into anywhere… so eager to help and make sure we had a great experience. - Everything related to the property. The landscaping is amazing. The pools are awesome. The rooms are outstanding. Everything is clean and well kept. It’s a new resort - so you’d expect everything to be in top shape, but they clearly work hard to keep it that way. - The food. We did have a few things that were just ok… but we had nothing that was bad and what we had at Bordeaux, Portofino and Himatsu were really, really good. And this is the best buffet we’ve had at any secrets or dreams we’ve been to. - The Prefered club is amazing. Most secrets/dreams have a small room - not here… It’s a HUGE bar with outdoor seating area with lots of seating, then they have the indoor area immediately adjacent where you can get a snack any time of the day - and it’s right next to the preferred pool. Best preferred experience of any AM Resort we’ve ever had… - the beach - best sand ever. They do a great job of keeping it free of seaweed and other debris… - the theater - best one we’ve ever seen at an AM Resort. Show’s we’re ok… pretty much the same as other resorts… - Rendezvous bar - HUGE. Great seating, lots of entertainment - we spent a lot of time there in the evenings after dinner… loved the swing chairs. - Desires - we’re not a huge fan of the programming that is in Desires (we’re not really evening people), but it’s a really nice bar - and a great place to watch sports with all the TV’s. - pool chair availability - You can get a chair all day - or at least could when we were there. If you want a specific one (see note about chairs with sun below), you still need to be out there by sunrise… They have signs up about your stuff being taken if chairs are not occupied after 45 minutes, but we didn’t see it enforced, ever. The not as good (nothing was bad…) - The view. Two of the pools are facing the ocean and are infinity style. But you can’t see the ocean because of the berms. Now, in the resorts defense, they didn’t really choose to do this. The berms existed and they had to leave them for environmental reasons. But it’s a bummer because you could have such a great view from the pools… - Getting a chair that has sun all day is hard. There’s only really a few… so if. You want to have all day sun, you gotta get one of those few or try to move around…. - Men wearing shorts to dinner. I wish they’d be consistent about this. I’d much prefer to wear a nice pair of dress shorts to dinner every night, but I try to comply with their rules. But they don’t enforce them so why bother???? Overall, we had an OUTSTANDING time. We’ve been to a bunch of secrets and dreams and this is definitely one of the best alongside Maroma and Los Cabo’s. We’re doing a split vacation between Akumal and Moxche in April, so we’ll be able to compare all 5 of these after that.

  Cancun Paradise Resort Memories

  My experience at Secrets Playa de Blanca Costa Mujeres was nonetheless the most EXCELLENT experience I've EVER had, from the first arrival greeting till our last day of our stay at this beautiful resort!! We came to this resort with 50 family members and friends celebrating our family destination Wedding was absolutely STUNNING!! our time in all the activity pool to infinity pool was so much FUN! dancing, playing games lead by the host/ hostess pumping up the crowd, having great pool side service while enjoying ourselves, Club Secrets Desire scheduled events was highlight of everyone coming together drinking and dancing the night away to great music, nothing but fun energy and beautiful sights throughout the entire resort. We loved the food in all restaurants and waiters and waitresses were so kind and attentive, Sixto in Seaside grill was phenomenal waiter, made sure drinks were introduced and recommended several options for us try, which I love to try knew foods abd drinks i don't know about. In Oceana waitress Diana was so wonderfully attentive and friendly engagement was a much appreciated experience. Our time on the gorgeous white sandy beach swimming in beautiful waters and our servers Christopher providing cocktails, food and shots was AMAZING service to our beach group, we loved our time abd dri KS provided, so great! I could go on abd on, but wanted to not forget our concierge Benji was ABSOLUTELY THEE BEST!!! Day on provided us with high quality service, checking in, providing help and recommended service needs, made sure he was available to take care of anything we may have wanted or needed, sent our daily schedule options fir the daily events so we know what was available to us if we wanted to participate in the planned events or shows. Benji was SUPER attentive to detail and mafe our stay the very best we've ever HAD!! Another HUGE experience for me was celebrating my 4 year Anniversary with my partner and they PROVIDED for us a Happy Anniversary dessert plate waiting for us in our room! That made So HAPPY!! There were many small details housekeeping even provided to us, flowers on the bed, linen creativity, I loved all the small details as much as the big ones. I absolutely recommend this AMAZING Resort to anyone wanting a wonderful fun experience! I'm already looking forward to our next return trip! Wanted to Thank everyone who made this trip a memorable and AMAZING Resort experience for my family and all!! A true Gem!

  Amazing Staff and Nightlife

  I thoroughly enjoyed this resort! The Nightlife was amazing and while the weather was not as nice as I would have liked... the Servers, Bartenders & Entertainment Crew were all amazing! Special Shout out to Daniel & Raquel on the Entertainment Crew! They both were amazing! Daniel let me close out the show for Karaoke, even though my group and I showed up a little late and afterwords, had almost everyone that was at Desires that night calling me "Piano Man" for the rest of my time there! Raquel with her amazing bracelets she made so quickly (5 bracelets within 5 minutes). Also, the Preferred Lounge snacks at night were great but the fried cheese/rice balls were unbelievable, that I am still thinking about them! The only thing I will say that could have been better at the resort is... my group spent extra money for the swim-out rooms and because they were not heated... we did not get to go in there once!

  The platinum standard in hospitality

  Our sixth trip to Mexico, and somehow this place has managed to raise a bar we didn’t think could go any higher. We’re only on day 7 of 14, but this hotel has already blown past every expectation. We chose it after staying at another Secrets hotel in the hotel zone which we loved, yet the difference in standards and overall experience here is on a completely different level. As food lovers, we’ve basically been in a food coma since the moment we arrived. The staff deserve a special mention, genuinely the friendliest, most attentive people we’ve ever met on our travels. Helpful, warm, and consistently going above and beyond. It’s hard to imagine any hotel matching the level of service we’ve had here. We’re in room 9428, our friends are in 4114, and both rooms are spotless, spacious, modern and incredibly comfortable. Everything feels fresh and thoughtfully designed. We travel a lot, but this stay has genuinely made an impact on us. We can’t recommend this place enough, it’s gone beyond our expectations… Thank you for making us feel so welcome, and for the memories. This place is going to be difficult to top, if that’s even possible. Sarah & James.
