Nov 08, 2025Lovely Stay, Allergen Friendly!
We were so impressed with our stay. Everything at the resort is just well thought out and beautiful. We splurged on the Preferred package and it was worth it for the bar (Javier was excellent!) and our butlers (Manuel & Eduardo!). We also got to know the concierge Michal as well, and he was very helpful as we were learning the layout of the resort. Part of our party did the tequila tasting one afternoon, and would highly recommend it. On Saturday, there was an outdoor Caribbean barbecue and it was one of the best meals we had at the resort - make sure to try it if you can. I have several food allergies (gluten, dairy, grapefruit, avocado, quinoa) and the staff was extremely helpful in helping me navigate their food options. We noted my allergies in the reservation ahead of time, at check in, and on first contact with our butler, and this made a world of difference. There was something I could eat at every restaurant and staff checked in with me to make sure I wanted something off menu at almost every meal. The best meal I had at the resort was the French restaurant, which I was not expecting. The steak and the glazed pear ice cream dessert was outstanding. There was one time at the breakfast buffet when allergens were not properly listed, and I did get sick. We addressed it to staff and I was impressed with their response, and how for the rest of the trip the buffet staff all knew me and went above and beyond to make sure I had not just safe food but enjoyable food. They were not able to confirm quickly that the gluten free bread was DF, so they went to the back and defrosted 2 muffins for me that were off-menu. Also the only thing I could eat off the lunch dessert bar were meringues, so without asking the manager went and had 2 little tarts made for me. Overall, the customer service was beyond excellent and we will be back when we can!

Five-Star Service That Made Our Vacation Unforgettable
We just returned from Secrets Playa Blanca and I can honestly say it was one of the most relaxing and luxurious vacations we’ve ever had! We stayed at the Preferred Level, and the service from start to finish was absolutely exceptional. Our Butlers, Martin and Gloria, went above and beyond every single day. They were incredibly attentive, kind, and always one step ahead of what we needed — from making our dinner reservations to ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect even helping decorate for our friends 40th birthday. We truly felt so cared for and pampered by them! At the Preferred Pool and Beach, our concierge team Celeste and Victor made every day effortless. They were constantly checking in, making sure our drinks were full, towels fresh, and even surprising us with little touches that made the experience feel truly five-star. Their warmth and professionalism elevated the entire trip. Because of Martin, Gloria, Celeste, and Victor, we can’t wait to return. They turned what was already a beautiful resort into a luxurious, personalized experience we’ll never forget. If you’re lucky enough to have them taking care of you — you’re in for a perfect vacation! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — We’d give them all five stars and then some!

Demi & Manuel, our butlers, were very attentive to all our needs, showering us with lots of unexpected surprises. Our housekeeper, Gimmy, did the same, our room was spotless & she too went above & beyond! Eduardo & Freddy made our cabana extra special as well with tequila, champagne, happy birthday messages, & scalp massage. Dinner each nice was superb & breakfast at Seaside Grill was excellent with Sixtu being incredibly attentive & a great conversationalist! Cristian at the Mayan Dinner at Seaside Grill brought us a special Happy Birthday dessert! From the incredible ambience to the highly attentive and delightful staff, our stay at Sercrets Playa Blanca was 10 stars!

Fantastic Resort!
It wasn't our first time at Secrets but it was our first time at this resort and we were extremely pleased. First of all, it is expansive and beautiful! Well-maintained landscaping, pillow soft white sand beaches and plenty of pools, each one different and fantastic. The Food is Top-Notch, the staff is friendly and the rooms were great. There truly is something for everyone here. We were preferred club with a swim out room and it was well-worth the investment. Overall, we will be returning soon!

It was our anniversary and we had the best vacation ever. I will definitely comeback. The staff is amazing!
The resort is gorgeous and so are the employees. We loved our butlers Belen and Demetria. All the staff were amazing and I loved the gym, the food and our room:)
