    Room Service After Dark Sucks

    Room Service after midnight sucks…..I requested a hot dog & got an early morning sausage link covered in a large hot dog roll….requested a hamburger well done and received a under cooked burger…..I’ll share my pics to confirm & I’m not one to judge but it happened more than once.

    Paradise Found in Papagayo!

    This was our first time at an all-inclusive resort, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The resort offered a perfect mix of relaxing and fun activities during the day, and the evening shows were very entertaining. We especially loved the beachfront pool area and the beautiful gardens surrounding the property – it felt like a little paradise. The staff were friendly and attentive, and everything felt well-organized. Choosing Secrets for our vacation in Costa Rica was absolutely worth it! We had an amazing experience booking excursions through nexttripcr.com Everything went smoother than we expected. We also arranged our airport transfers with them, and the drivers were friendly, punctual, and their vans were spotless. We especially enjoyed the Eco coffee farm, Waterfall, Rainforest, and catamaran. Even our 4-year-old had a fantastic time, with a personal guide making sure he was safe and engaged throughout each excursion. Overall, the tours added a wonderful touch to our Costa Rica vacation!

    Food was mediocre. Didn't feel like an important guest even after expressing we were there for an anniversary. Not much engagement except volleyball

    A Great Celebration with Family & Friends

    We were here celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday & retirement; there were nine of us. EVERYONE had a great time given the amazing people & environment of the resort & soft black/white sandy beach. A Special thank you & mention to: 1. Entertainment Team: -Geovani (Geo): non-stop energy & focus on all having a good time (guests & colleagues). The best water aerobics in any resort – thank you for the great workouts. -Merarie: Love her, my dancing queen with a beautiful smile & ‘battle of the sexes’ girlfriend. Thank you for the fun. -Emily: We are still wearing our bracelets. 2. Portofino: -Armando, Server: Rock Star! Can sing beautifully & provide fantastic large dinner service. -Anthony, Server; Well done large dinner service from beginning to end. -Both Armando & Anthony were very genuine making us feel welcome. 3. Seaside Grill: -Luis, Evening Mgr; Extremely professional & accommodating -Christian, Day Mgr; Thank you for working with us to arrange for Sashimi & Poke from the Tuna my husband caught that day! -Christian, Evening Server; Took great care of us as a large group. -Wilson, Lunch Server; Very good, attentive server 4. Market Cafe: -Migdalia, Egg Chef; A beautiful smile greeting you every morning. So eager to learn new language & teach you Spanish. She also makes amazing Huevos Rancheros & Egg white omelets  -Alba & Elizabeth, Hostesses; after the first day, both knew our room number before we could tell them. Such passion about their work. 5. Preferred Lounge: -Joseph, Lounge Mgr; Very dedicated, there to assist guests with needs. Can’t thank you enough. -William D., Bartender/Server; Great Mixologist & general entertainer. 6. Pool Bar & Restaurant: -Esteban, Bartender; we met our first day at the Preferred Lounge, took care of us from then on -Jose, Bartender; knows what you want to drink before you do, great memory -Benji, Bartender; I asked for something different with specifics, I got the best pool drink ever! I asked, “what’s it called”, I heard “Benji’s Special”. Other bartenders tried, but he made the ONE. So, I coined a new name……the “Sexy B”. Ask Benji, he’ll know exactly what it is. Suggest Mgmt add it to the menu. -Edgar, Pool Server; Very attentive. 7. Transportation (Vans) / Concierge: -Johel; I can’t say enough, thank you so much for your help & sincerity. -Nelson; BIG smile & always willing to assist -Amed; AKA ‘speedy Gonzales’, you rock -Eli; we met upon arrival; you set the bar high & the team delivered -Fabian; late night shift…. thank you -Henry; running us all over…. thank you 8.     Secrets, my secret!

    Had a wonderful experience at Secrets in Costa Rica. The property is beautiful and the amenities were great. I so appreciated the transportation option for getting around the resort, I was on a hill over looking the ocean and calling for a ride helped me get to other places on the property easily.
