  Great resort!

  We had a great time at the resort. My wife and I went there for our anniversary trip, and we would definitely return. The rooms were clean, the amenities were very nice, and the staff was great.

  Just what adults of all ages and phases need and want from vacation!

  Secrets Maroma Beach is a 5 star top notch all inclusive adult vacation experience. The service from the top to the bottom is professional and quick. The staff clearly take pride in their works. The groups are meticulously groomed. Staff switched seamlessly between Spanish and English. We will definitely be back!

  A truly special place

  My partner and I have just returned from a week at this fabulous resort. It was a treat to ourselves to celebrate our big birthdays and anniversary. Secrets maroma was absolutely amazing. We're quite well travelled and this was the best service and food we've ever had on holiday. Our check in was quick efficient and friendly, I loved how the staff said 'welcome home'. we were shown to our fabulous room. It was spacious, beautifully decorated and had an dreamy bathroom. There was a birthday banner on the door and a cake which was a lovely thought. We chose not to go preferred, I didn't think it would have been worth the extra £1000 for us. Each building has a concierge to help you with anything you might need. We had the lovely Katya, she was available on WhatsApp and updated us on the daily activities and she booked our beach cabana for us. She arranged for our room to be decorated for our anniversary on our last day and for a special birthday surprise on the beach cabana. I almost cried when she left, it was so thoughtful and I was blown away by the efforts she and the team went to, to create that wonderful memory for us(I can't remember names but I think it was Feliz and another team member) . The food here is so so good in both the buffet and the restaurants, it's varied, tasty, hot, fresh and we were such pigs for the whole week. The Asian was our favourite and the fresh juices at breakfast were great. They even have a smoothie station which I rarely see in hotels. There are several cabanas to rent by the pool or beach. I've included a list of them but the prices already show the discount, I don't know the original price without a voucher. We had the presidential cabana which was amazing and we were treated like royalty with drinks and food being delivered all day, it was really special and the views were awesome. I'd recommend downloading the hyatt app, it shows all the activities, shows, menus, opening times etc and you don't need to be a guest to see all of that information. There was so much going on all day, you can be as involved as you like, there was no pressure either way. The pool had more of a party vibe to it with most of the activities going on there. The beach was more relaxed and our preferred spot because of the views and gorgeous, clean beach. Dario looked after us and kept us hydrated and always had time for a chat. We didn't use the spa, it was really expensive. A facial was almost £200 so unless I leave looking 25 then I didn't think it was worth it. There were a couple of shops selling clothes, snacks, medication, toiletries etc but it was $35 for a bottle of hawaiian tropic spf so bring enough with you. A special mention to the team that work tirelessly in the heat and humidity to maintain the stunning grounds, they were immaculate. Overall we had an amazing time and would love to go back one day. My only criticism was that the drive in was so bumpy, they really need to address the holes, it's worse than the UK! also, we didn't have robes in our room, not sure if we were supposed to or not but they would have been a great addition.

  Amazing vacation

  I give Maroma 5 stars, & wish I could give more. This resort was sooooooo AMAZING!!!! Everything about it was top notch. The atmosphere, food, shows, room service,everything. It is a very huge resort, but they lack nothing. At night my husband & I saw them remodeling & doing the demo, but there was NO NOISE! We were so surprised, because when we heard they were doing it we thought we came at the wrong time. But we had the greatest time. Can't forget about the concierge, he was so attentive to everything!!!!!! He remembered our names, everything we liked, & booked reservations w/o hesitation. He was always checking in to make sure things were going good. Couldn't ask for anything more. Would definitely recommend, & we'll absolutely be back. 10/10
