Don't ever get sick there. They charge 350 US$ for a doctor's appointment, in town it is 20 USD. 2 electrolytes 190 pesos, bring your own (powder). Food is below average. Lots of maintenance missing. Old sheets and towels.

The entertainment team of Amir, Ximena, Alejandro, Alejandra, Antonio,Daniel and Julio made every day fun. Whether it was aqua exercise , pool volleyball, bingo or dancing and cooking lessons they made it all super enjoyable.

Castaways for the win!
Enjoyed our one week stay at Secrets. All staff very friendly and accommodating. Dining at Castaways was a delight . A warm and inviting atmosphere with delicious meals and great service. A special thank you to Chef May, waiters Miguel and Eddi, manager Ivonne and hostess Stefanny. What a great team!

Flying from Dallas, the flight in a smaller jet was great. Lots of room and arrived at Huatulco. A small airport with 1 other plane there. Customs and stuff went fast. We booked thru Apple and Amstar was there to pick us up. It was a 25 minute drive to the hotel. Its beautiful. The rooms were nice, the bed could be more comfy. Overall the resort is very nice. The beach has deep sand and is hard to get to and back up to the resort. We stayed at the pool and itslarge with activities. The food at the resturants was good. It wasnt great but it was good. The servicec was great. I do recommend this resort but it's not a 10. I would give it a 7 overall.

Solid resort, amazing staff, would return
Our favourite restaurant, by far, was Castaways. It was outdoors, with a view of the bay. This is what we came for. The staff were all super friendly, especially Stefany and Ivonne as hostess and manager. They remembered us and always had a smile. Wait staff were nice too, especially Adilene, Rodrigo and Sergio. Thank you so much! The baristas at Coco's Café were pretty cute too: Thank you Wendi and Mathilde! The most of other food options were indoors and had oddly over-bright lighting and no views. Aside from Tamarindo, the food at these other places was quite underwhelming. The entertainment staff were consistently upbeat and friendly. The hotel itself could use a little refresh, but they were working on it. The resort is fairly isolated; nothing is walkable from the hotel. We did taxi into town twice over our 14 days. The beach is gorgeous, the weather was perfect.
