Dec 29, 2025Great place for a peaceful vacation
This was our 2nd time at Secrets Cap Cana. We have been to many of the hotels within the (now Hyatt) UVC lineup, including Now Amber in Puerto Vallerta, Dreams Los Cabos (Cabo San Lucas), Zoetry Agua, secrets Montego Bay (both wild orchid and St James) plus dreams in Cancun. This is by far the best food of any inclusive we’ve ever stayed at. Our butler, Miguel, was superior. He made sure our dinner reservations were taken care of during our stay and provided daily updates with activities along with doing plenty of other things to provide us with the best level of service we have ever received (he had a bottle of champagne delivered along with chocolates for a birthday). We encountered many other wonderful employees as well. Luis Rodriguez at the front desk was very helpful, the employees at the spa were all terrific. My one suggestion for any traveler is that while this is an All inclusive resort and thus, you need not pay for much of anything, I would recommend bringing a few hundred dollars in small bills. It’s just a nice touch when someone is setting you up for the day with umbrella: and towels to tip. Same holds true for a meal. Again, nothing is required. I just think it’s a nice thing to do for people who are working so hard to provide a wonderful experience for their guests.

Second Visit Even Better Than First
We returned to Secrets in November and had the most fantastic time. Our Concierge Johan was the most perfect, helpful person. The Ocean View Suite’s are big and spacious, the Housekeeping was always spot on. The restaurants and food are the best we’ve experienced in an all inclusive hotel. The drinks and bar service superb. The Entertainment’s team were a blast, such good, interactive individuals. There are too many names to mention, but Scooby Doo, Ice Cube, Minnie Me, Rihanna and Beyoncé and all the rest were great. Boca Chica waiter in the French Restaurant was outstanding, his demeanour so warming offering great service. Marie in the lobby always happy to help with a lovely smile. The staff in the Coco Cafe were so polite, helpful and service with a smile. Overall, we’ve travelled extensively but this place has won our hearts for outstanding service, spotless grounds and rooms, and of course the warm, sincere staff. We have already booked our next trip here.

Best Service ever
Today is our last day at Secrets CapCana, feeling guilty that couple of years ago left a not-so-good review, it was about entertainment. One thing that stands out in this resort is the outstanding service, very well organized, surprisingly looking at small details to make sure that vacationers are feeling appreciated and all their needs taken care. Happened that LaDiva - entertainment manager, contacted us several times during our stay checking if were satisfied. Pool and beach service was exceptional. Very much appreciated help we got from our concierge Johan, very professional. Do not skip a massage session at SPA, will make your stay much pleasant. Grounds are well maintained. All restaurants are outhrntic, but we liked in particular the stake restaurant. This is a mid-sized resort, is always something to do around. The Juveniles beach is not long as Bavaro, but enough to burn some calories walking. Overall. Can't say anything that can be better.

Great people. Great resort. Best we have ever been to. Never fails to disappoint. Finally seeing Javier back in the preferred lounge made everything right again. From Nestor who is the best bellman and Rigoberto the manager at Oceana that will make sure everything is perfect. They really do make you feel great. Mini pea yo-yo at Rosewater is a perfect fit now the real pea yo-yo is gone Fransisco and David we have to mention as well as they are first class bartenders. Lastly if you are lucky enough to have Annibal as your butler you have done well. Thanks SCC See you again soon Kass and Mike

Best Christmas Gift!
From the moment we stepped on the resort of Secrets Cap Cana, we felt like royalty! Our personal butler, Jeison, was exceptional. Very kind, attentive, personable and knowledgeable! We will be back for sure and hopefully for a longer stay and bring more family!
