Great vibes, huge resort! We loved Ismael in the bar, he was an artist, very attentive! Also loved Sheyla at the beach! The food was very good overall, special mentions to the Italian place (portofino) and French place (Bordeaux) and teppanyaki (Himitsu). Staff were very helpful overall. Also shout out to our butler Jessica, she helped us with lots including food, reservations, and tips. The hotel app was a little bit glitchy and it would be preferred if Himitsu didn't let children inside since it is adults only. Overall 4.5/5! Very fun trip!

Best bar tender and service!
Can not speak highly enough about the service at this resort. We feel like family here. Ismael at the dream check in bar has been gone above and beyond for us. Not only is his service 12/10 but he really puts his love into all his drinks. You can really tell he’s a passionate mixologist. Some of are favourite memories of our vacation are at his bar. We also have to make a comment on about Sheila (typically found at the beach or adult pool). She has always made us feel so welcome and taken care of. She is so kind and thoughtful, always checking in if we needed anything. This resort has exceeded our expectations with food quality, cleanliness, spectacular views and more. We sincerely can’t wait to come back next year.

Back after 12 years to Punta Burros
Secrets really pays attention to details on many levels. Sheyla,, assisted with surfboard storage, all the restaurants food was excellent, especially the staff at Portofino. We will be back.

We have been to a number of different Secrets resorts but this was the noisiest and poorest run. They were more interested in catering to the wedding crowd and not to the guests who come out year after year. When it came to the 20 something crowd there didn't seem to be any rules. Partying in the halls at all hours of the night, strip dancing on the swim up bar. anything went. If you are looking for a Secrets resort to party and act like you are in college then this is the place. If it is to relax and enjoy the sun then you might want to choose another resort.

Great resort with well thought out spaces, thoughtful staff and fantastic food All the waiters and waitresses were super friendly and attentive Shayla (Pool Concierge) was very helpful and friendly!
