  New Secrets Resorts in Aruba buffet

  We were one of the few that were at the new Secrets Resorts in Aruba. The resort is very nice but the food, especially the breakfast and lunch buffet, is just okay. For the price the chef needs to step it up with presentation and food selections. I understand they just opened, but be more creative.

  During my recent stay at the soon-to-open Secrets Baby Beach Aruba, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of refined luxury and natural splendor. Situated at the island’s southernmost point, the resort offers breathtaking vistas of the Caribbean Sea and the serene silhouette of Seroe Colorado, crafting an idyllic backdrop for a tranquil retreat. I was made previously aware the construction continues and some noice or dust that come with constructions. Overall there was some dust but hardly any noise. Arrival and Accommodations Upon arrival, the warm greeting from the gate attendant set a welcoming tone. I was directed to the luggage drop-off area, where Jayden, a congenial bellman, introduced himself with a heartfelt “Welcome home.” His attentive assistance, including a convenient ride back to the entrance after parking, made the check-in process seamless. The resort’s expansive open-air lobby immediately captivated me. Its architectural design allows for a harmonious blend of shelter and openness, complemented by a central water feature and plush seating arrangements. The gentle lighting and courteous front desk staff further enhanced the inviting ambiance. Opting for a Preferred Club suite proved to be a delightful choice. This exclusive tier offers enhanced amenities and personalized services, elevating the overall experience. The suite itself was a haven of comfort, featuring a king-size bed adorned with crisp, lightly scented sheets, and a private balcony complete with a jacuzzi, providing panoramic ocean views. The spaciousness and meticulous attention to detail in the room’s design ensured a restful and luxurious stay. Culinary Delights Dining at the resort was an indulgent journey through gourmet flavors and artful presentations. Chef Carlos and his culinary team curated an array of exquisite dishes that tantalized the palate. A standout was the perfectly prepared salmon, embodying the freshness and quality that characterized each meal. The variety and abundance of the offerings transformed each dining experience into a celebration of hedonia, the pursuit of pleasure. Wellness and Recreation Maintaining a fitness routine was effortless, thanks to the state-of-the-art gym equipped with Technogym apparatus and its integrated app. Boogie, the enthusiastic gym instructor, provided insightful guidance, introducing me to techniques that invigorated my workouts and contributed to my physical well-being. His motivation and expertise were invaluable assets to the fitness center. Following an invigorating workout, I indulged in a deep tissue massage at the resort’s Secrets Spa. Nataly, the skilled therapist, adeptly alleviated the knots and tension in my back, delivering a treatment that was both therapeutic and rejuvenating. The spa’s serene environment, complete with a hydrotherapy circuit, sauna, and steam room, provided a sanctuary for relaxation and self-care. Entertainment and Cultural Immersion Evenings at the resort were enlivened by captivating live performances that showcased the rich tapestry of Aruban culture. The Infusion carnival group and the Popcorn Club dancers presented “The Prince of the Carnival,” a mesmerizing journey through the island’s festive traditions. Notably, the presence of the physical Prince Carnival added an authentic touch to the performance, immersing guests in the vibrant spirit of Aruba’s celebrations. These vibrant displays of artistry and heritage added depth and excitement to the nightly entertainment offerings. Post-show, the poolside bars offered a diverse selection of refreshments, including an array of non-alcoholic beverages—a thoughtful inclusion for guests like myself who appreciate such options. Concluding the night in the Preferred Club Lounge, Cornell, the gracious host, provided a serene setting to unwind, reflecting on the day’s adventures over a carefully crafted drink. Reflections and Recommendations While the overall experience at Secrets Baby Beach Aruba was marked by luxury and attentive service, there are areas where subtle enhancements could elevate the guest experience further. Encouraging proactive engagement from the housekeeping team would enrich the atmosphere of hospitality. Additionally, refining the English proficiency of some staff members could facilitate smoother communication, though their earnest attempts to connect in guests’ native languages were genuinely appreciated. Improved signage throughout the resort would also assist guests in navigating the expansive property with ease, particularly when locating amenities such as the spa and gym. In essence, my stay at Secrets Baby Beach Aruba was a harmonious blend of relaxation, indulgence, and cultural immersion. The resort’s commitment to excellence is evident in its offerings and service, making it a destination I would eagerly anticipate returning to.
