Not as good as we expected
While the resort is new and rooms are very comfortable, the restaurants on site lack quality of food to the level of the resort. The only high quality is the buffet breakfast/lunch that unfortunately closes for dinner. The location is completely isolated so when a ride is needed to downtown the cost is very expensive. We didn't rent a car but quickly changed our mind. It was worth to pay for a daily rental than take any other type of transportation. The rooms and building in general are very clean and when room service was requested staff was very accommodating. Absolutely love the security provided when in and out of the resort even though there was pretty much nothing around. It was not our first visit to Aruba but the first to Secrets. We will come back to Aruba but we feel the price we paid for this resort doesn't justify being so isolated unless you're willing to eat the same food everyday and not going anywhere but the pool and beach for the entire stay. The main reason to stay at this resort was to celebrate hubby's birthday which was informed at check in. It was not aknlowledged until the day off which i had to complaint at the front desk. Celebrations of weddings, birthday and others are a big deal at this resort. A banner is set at your room's door that day, the daily panphlet reflect the name of all people with special ocassions so you can keep it as a souvenir and champaigne and cake brought to the room.None of that happened for us until i had to talk to front desk and at that point was more annoying than a nice surprise. We never got a souvenir because his name was never printed on paper. Overall we are not going back to Secrets.

The Honeymoon of our Dreams!
Our honeymoon at Secrets Baby Beach Aruba was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The resort itself is beautiful, the rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, and the views were stunning. The food and beverage options exceeded our expectations—Market Café, Portofino, and Tierra were all highlights, offering amazing variety and flavors. The entertainment and activities were lively and fun, and the fitness center was a great way to stay active while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Most of all, the staff made our stay truly special with their attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect honeymoon experience and can’t wait to return!

New resort still has kinks
Aruba airport is small and quick to move through. Immigration and customs very orderly Short 30min ride to the hotel -note there are no Ubers on the island Food buffet was fantastic. Fresh local dishes and American favorites, only open for breakfast and lunch. In general most of the wait staff are in training still and move on island speed. Pool bartender moved so slow I thought he stopped a couple times. We asked for Piña Colada in the morning and they hadn’t stated the slushee machine so the bartender was unable to make the drink. Cause they only knew to add rum to the slushee. They have a lot of training still needed. Some of the teams appear to be on their own a little early. Tierra wait staff was great but others including the buffet were slow not aware when you sat down and slow to refill coffee. Beach is nearby short 5 min walk or so, golf cart shuttle available. Beach is public but secrets has staff on shore to help with beach chairs and drinks The unique location at the far south west end of the island allows a perspective of both sunrise and sunset right from the resort at Baby Beach. Afternoons at the pool difficult to find share space and pool staff not very accommodating even at the preferred club space. Sunday pool service from our chairs not very regular , highly recommend whining your own reusable mug so you have enough drink to last a while. After pools close they don’t clean or wipe down the tables between chairs which makes you wonder how/if they clean the chairs. Based on your room you may be eligible for the preferred club, which has a separate bar in the lobby near the casino ( when we were there Dec 2025 Casino was not open yet). Also a separate infinity pool and deck facing the ocean. Many of the ground level rooms have swim out pools and a wing that has ocean views. Although when you check out the YouTube’s and other posts you’ll see most rooms have some views of the ocean so decide what’s worth paying for. Like all secrets it’s adults only so screaming by the pool and loud music isn’t a thing at the normal access points. Preferred club rooms come with a butler, so plan tips accordingly. There is also a preferred dining room in the market cafe that has breakfast and lunch menus. Overall not impressed with pool service unless in preferred club area was a little better later in the day. Food access at pools was limited to if the pool server had time and coverage to leave to get it. No pool food available at bars around pools, they have a “barefoot grill” of burgers and hot dogs but it’s next to the market cafe buffet not by the main pools. Restrooms near pool areas also limited, your room was closer in most cases. Preferred club pool area has a closer restroom but not well marked so we don’t find it until the last day. We visited in December which is the raininy season. However, it doesn’t last but 5 min or less each little burst then it’s over and wind and sun is back. The only restaurant than requires a reservation is the Hibachi show. So ask at check in and plan accordingly. Some times has a longer wait then others. Buffet has standard fare at lunch and not open at dinner, so plan when you want to eat to avoid lines. Restaurants are open late and room service is 24/7. The serious dress code is the Italian, all others are resort casual. Men in collar shirts and closed toe shoes, no sandals or swimwear. Buffet is open most of the day, closed short period when they swap out breakfast for lunch. Tierra the SoAmerican restaurant is a must try. My husband is from Colombia and we visited their often. The Colombian selections were spot on for flavor and taste. We tried Oceana and wasn’t impressed with service but food was stellar. They are still new so lots of training going on.

Perfect for our babymoon!
My husband and I had an amazing time at Secrets baby beach. The staff was super friendly and the rooms/resort itself beautiful. Location was far from the city/downtown but it was relaxing and away from the crowds and cruise ships. Aikeline went above and beyond coordinating our gender reveal on site. Boogie in the gym helped keep it spotless and was helpful giving my husband and I recommendations for places to go off resort. Even though it rained a few days on and off, there was always something to do because of all the activities on the resort. Great place for couple looking for some relaxation.
