Great service, Pedro was very attentive and easy to talk to and friendly. Would come back based on service alone! Food was good too!

Not a good experience - wouldn't recommend this resort
This was my 7th trip to Mexico, and I was quite disappointed in the overall low quality of this resort, especially considering that it is a part of a chain of Sandos resorts. In a nutshell – don’t go to this resort, it is not worth the money – too many issues. There were plumbing issues in my room. I couldn’t use the hot and the cold water in the sink at the same time – the pressure of the cold water would go up so high that the water would fountain out of the sink. It would normally take 10-15 minutes to get hot water in the shower. Every time I would open the water in the tub it would be brown. Breakfasts were fine, but lunches and dinners were comparable to post-Covid Cuba – barely any selection of food. Room service – very poor selection, and very low quality. The only snack available on the beach between the meals was pizza of a very mediocre quality. Good things about the food – great selection of fruit at breakfast, a machine that was making juice from fresh oranges, and the Tres Leches (Three Milks) cake that was the best that I have tasted in my life (even better than the one that I had in Peru which is that cake’s origin). There weren’t enough sun beds on the beach, and absolutely no umbrellas to hide from the sun. There was about a dozen of dilapidated cabanas, most without any curtains to protect from the sun. The beach itself was great. The music by the pool was meant for the crowd of 20-year-olds. None of the older guests who I’ve talked to appreciated that loud techno banging. And there was no way to escape from the noise as the windows of the room were facing the pool, and there weren’t soundproof at all. The hotel doesn’t have a theatre for night entertainment. While I was there, they were working on the construction of an outdoor theatre. I was listening to jackhammering and drilling every day all day long (except for Sunday) while I was on the beach. The jets in the jacuzzi tub in the pool weren’t working. The jets in the jacuzzi tub at the spa weren’t working either. Instead of them they have created one huge jet in the centre of the tub which was useless. The massage at the spa was done by Ester. It was very good. The staff was trying to make the guests feel comfortable. I would like to mention the concierges Jacqueline and Gabriele who were very friendly and helpful. Also, I would like express my deep thanks to the waiter Ignacio Vazquez at the Zango restaurant (buffet). He provided a great service and really went out of his way to make me feel very welcome there. Ignacio, muchas gracias por todo, and buena suerte!

Excellent food and ambiance. Pedro was an excellent server! Excellent recommendations! The French onion soup was superb. It came with an overcovering crust
