  Property Review

  Solo birthday trip. The physical property was pretty, the food was decent. I had diamond club so I had 2 butlers Gina and Rosa both were very sweet and did their jobs. The diamond club lounge was the only place to get a decent drink. The cons are the elevator situation for the whole entire property, it’s a tower of 16 levels and 3 working elevators my whole stay, people would pack themselves in by at least 10 or more because they were tired of waiting and would take the first elevator that showed up. I didn’t like the up charge for better quality steaks in the steak house or if wanted lobster. Most other resorts those things are included if you are club level. The constant trying to sell you a timeshare was annoying too. Lastly was that Level 18 rooftop party situation, they charge for premium alcohol even if you were diamond club, and charging for entry, free entry if you are diamond club. It was a waste up there. I did enjoy the spa service, it was tranquil and the attendants were very sweet. The room was nice and I had a nice view. Housekeeping was a bit light on service, and some things could use a good scrub and repair. Overall I would not return to Royalton Chic Cancun. It was fairly decent but not for me.

  Group trip - Royalton CHIC Cancun

  Wonderful trip with work colleagues, great resort, with everything close by. Diamond level was great - Cesar & Gilbert were fantastic butlers. With a group of 18 of us they helped with reservations, making sure all went smoothly!! Stayed in contact by what'app, or they found me at the pool or beach - available all days and into the evenings (thank you both!!). Rooms were clean, beautiful; buffet & the restaurants were great, food was tasty with lots of options! Bit more of a party place but you could always find quiet spots. The beach was great the ocean spectacular (no seaweed, a bit wavey, lost my cheapo sunglasses-worth it!!). Entertainment was good too, fun events and always something going on. The spa was lovely, the cold plunge pool was COLD!! Great time, 1st time at a Royalton.... Will be back!!

  Amazing hotel and amazing staff

  Just had 10 days here as a couple aged 50. I read the reviews and I was a little worried however we have had the best time ever. Special mentions to Diego, Nelly, Alexander, Danny and Jesus on the vibe team. Kevin and Wendy the servers around the pool. Daniel and Stef our butlers. The people in the restaurants and bars were so so friendly and could not do enough to make sure you were happy and wanted for nothing. I admit food wasn’t always to my liking but we enjoyed the steakhouse, Italians and sports bar. The bbq through the day was excellent. There was plenty to do through the day Lots going on if you want to join in or just watch. The beach is simply stunning. An 8 minute walk to coco bongo and senior frogs which is hilarious. The nightlife here was whatever you made of it really. Depends on the people who are here for which vibe it takes. We had fun and didn’t feel out of place as there is such a good range of ages. Diamond club - we had it and must admit so not see the perks of it really as we enjoyed the pool area so much more. Overall an excellent stay and would definitely return again.   Thanksgiving in Cancun

  Excellent venue, so enjoyable atmosphere and our butler Gilbert was very attentive and helpful. The entire experience was amazing

  Fantastic stay at the Royalton Chic

  Arturo and Marisol were fantastic butlers and made our stay so enjoyable. The private dinners at the seafood restaurant were incredible. Juan in the prime lounge area was also fantastic. The only negative was the erratic elevators that took forever. Another big plus was the clean beaches, no seaweed. Yay.
