Jun 13, 2025New hotel with great food and beautiful beach!
Boyfriend and I went to the Rui Latino for a week and had a great time! The hotel is a little isolated and not close to the main strip however we took ubers to go shopping at the mall in downtown Cancun. Hotel is not too far from the airport, check in was fast and we quickly went to eat at the buffet. Room was clean and had partial ocean view, close to pools. Resort itself not too big easy to get around. I love to walk on a long stretch of beach so this was perfect! Lots of chairs on the beach and waiters to bring drinks. The hotel has a great gym, sports bar to hang out and a disco and nice gift shop! Went to the Italian restaurant, Steak house and Japanese, Italian was our favorite and easy to get a table. Buffets at Rui hotels are amazing, good quality and great selection of food. Service at tables also very good, waiters always around for drinks and collect plates. Love the Rui parties, disco was always busy and fun as well as the sports bar. Did a one day excursion to Isla Mujeres, beautiful catamaran ride there but super pricey only for a few hours. Will definitely go back! Entertainment was good, especially on the Rui party nights a must!!

The resort was very clean and nice. Everyone very friendly, ORLANDO, the bartender was amazing.. All of the workers were great! Could use better mattresses, that’s the one downfall, we had 3 rooms, and all 3 could use new mattresses.

Great Resort! Loved it
Beautiful. I traveled with my mom we had an ocean view room. The resort is very clean….activities all day. I love Rui…this is my 5th time staying in on of their resorts and everytime is great. The staff are very attentive. This was a birthday trip for me and me and my mom truly enjoyed it!

Very Noisy
First the positive points! Really delightful staff throughout, professional, friendly, courteous and attentive The hotel was exceptionally clean, bedrooms were comfortable and functional with plenty of storage space, but certainly not 5* standard. The food in the buffet is as good as I’ve had anywhere in an AI hotel and although we tried the speciality Italian and Steak restaurant, there was no significant difference in food quality BUT the deal breaker for us is the constant noise, almost from 9.30 in the morning to 11pm at night, after the end of the show , plus the inconsideration of other guests playing their own music loudly on balconies It was difficult to escape, even on the beach, loud music followed you, interspersed with the sound of games ( think 18-30 holidays) The hotel is adult-only but for these 60+ years old guests, it just wasn’t great for a relaxing holiday, much more geared to young people so from that point of view, we wouldn’t return, it may be helpful if the ambience of the hotel is stressed in advertising material as I’m quite well aware how many people love the things we don’t The picture makes the hotel look quite isolated, it isn’t, just one of many on the strip. There are no places to walk to from the hotel, a taxi into Cancun costs around 80 US return We did hire a a car one day but unbelievably no one could give us a road map, not even the hire car company ( that’s you Alamo) We drove up the peninsula until the road became sand and that was that, back to the hotel! you wouldn’t roam the roads without a plan !

Best service, best buffet and best management team
Thank you Riu Latino for a wonderful experience. We have just returned after 10 wonderful days in this well-managed resort . Everything was as good as Riu hotels are everywhere, always. We were impressed by the dedication and the hard work everybody shows in this resort starting with the fast and efficient reception, the cleaning of the grounds, the maid service exemplary, the service in restaurants and bars. If only the walkway to the beach could be extended to reach the sea I could say the place is TOP. We travel a lot and we have seen many places. This is definitely one of the best anyone can find in the Carribean. Thank you animation team for bringing music and dance in our vacation, thank you Alvaro Cortes and Nexustours team who are dedicated on a daily basis to serve and help you, thank you beach service team who walked the heavy deep white sand daily several times to make our stay refreshing and cool.

3. If a Student / Spring Breaker Group is accepted:
