Animation team and Juli were the best part
The only good part about this resort was the fun and entertainment from the animation team, especially Juli. They were great dancers and helped us have a relaxing and fun time. It was a nice distraction and nice to learn new dances and games. Room situation was not good and the customer service from the front desk was very disappointing.

Stay Away!
My husband and I stayed at the Punta Cana Princess for 5 days (11/19/25 - 11/24/25). The beach was beautiful white sand, pool was awesome, and Nelson was the best bartender! The Princess Animation Team was also very fun. However, the food is terrible, the people working there scammed us multiple times, and do NOT get the VIP package upgrade. They did not deliver on any of their promises. We were supposed to get 15% off spa services and they did not honor that with our couples massage. We made reservations for a couples massage on the beach. We showed up to our appt and they said they couldn’t do it on the beach and they did not give us the discount associated with our VIP package. Our package also came with lobster dinner. The lobster was literally so overcooked that I couldn’t even cut it with a steak knife! We walked out of that dinner and went to the fondue restaurant which was better. The VIP area on the beach was in the full sun and everyone was allowed to sit there. We couldn’t even utilize the space because people with standard packages were all using the chairs. Also, be prepared to be approached every 8-12 minutes on the beach with people trying to sell you something (by day 2, I literally started timing them because it was a joke. I couldn’t read my book on the beach for more than 10 minutes without someone wanting me to buy something from them). I went into the ocean to get away from them and a guy holding a macaw still called to us from the beach to take a picture for money! The VIP package also promises late checkout, the registration desk said they wouldn’t honor that either. My husband and I love Mofongo so we made reservations at El Pilon and it was inedible. The mofongo was completely covered in a pound of coagulated cheese and the meat inside was gray and rancid. We spent the evening throwing up after that. There are concierge club people walking all around the lobby recruiting people to watch a 90 minute presentation about their vacation club that starts at $16,000. We declined but one of them begged us to sit through the presentation so they could collect their commission. Just walking from the lobby to our room, we had 2 more people approach us about buying excursions. Jose at the registration desk told us that we didn’t need any reservations for dinner. We showed up at the Italian restaurant only to be absolutely scolded by the hostess for not having a reservation. We were then treated so poorly for the whole meal. I stopped at the gift shop for a couple things as we were leaving and my credit card was scammed by the cashier! My husband accidentally forgot his credit card in the room safe. We realized it less than 1 hr later after leaving the room. I pulled up the credit card app to lock the card only to realize that both his card and mine used only at the gift shop had already been used multiple times!!!! I spent our time at the airport disputing multiple fraudulent charges that took place within minutes of our departure. We will never be back to Punta Cana!!!!!

Amazing
Amazing experience. Great staff - in particular, Alex, Mario, Jazmin & Yonfi, each of them made our experience really special. The amenities are great, we particularly enjoyed being able to visit the other hotel and use their amenities. Thoroughly enjoyed. Food was incredible too. Highly recommend.

I came back
I came back after two years and just a little has changed. I like this resort because it is a great smaller resort. Even some of the staff has changed they are still the best! To name at least a few of them: Alexander is always greeting everybody with big smile and welcome. Always helpful! Santa - thank you very much for taking care of my room Maria, Jose and Walfren and the reception Raul your staff was again great - to name a few which took care of me every day - Carolina, Nancy, Altagracia, Aneudis and Juana However I still cannot give a 5* because of the room. Even they are well equipped and spacious, the rooms are in real overdue for renovation. A/C units need regular weekly cleaning of filters and of mildew. Again I had to wash all my clothes 3 times to get that stink out of it. The room phone was not working and was not fixed even I reported it second day I got there. They did fix the wi-fi and it is now working throughout the whole resort. Good thing is that they have enough pool / deck chairs, just more umbrellas would be a huge plus. I am planning to go back again!
