  Wow!

  I had an amazing time. The resort was beautiful food amazing and the vibes were immaculate. Israel and Amaury were both extremely helpful. They showed me the ropes and made me feel welcomed at the resort. I recommend this resort to everyone!

  Fantastic Honeymoon (Brit's, APR 25)

  Visited for 10 days from the 16th of April for our honeymoon and have just returned. What a wonderful trip! Will try to be as balanced as possible here. On Arrival - Bell Boy's were ready to grab our bags as we checked in. The Check In Process is quite overwhelming with information and pieces of paper being presented to you. I've been to hotels and resorts where this is a lot more streamlined and could be improved if the hotel had an App to use whilst in resort. Will expand on this throughout. If you're from the UK (we travelled with TUI), payment of Environmental Tax is on arrival and whilst not much, has to be done using a Card. Bell Boy took us and our luggage on a golf cart up to our room which was a nice surprise. We had heard about the party pool, and requested a "quiet" room, and were given 1002 which is the furthest block away from reception. However, it's literally a 4-5 minute stroll to reception so if you aren't into partying, this is a good request to make and can be done in the TUI "Manage my Booking" area. As a Brit - the demographics of the guests are HEAVILY in favour of American's and Canadian's, and we were 2 of 6 TUI guests during our stay according to the TUI Rep. We also noticed that on arriving Wednesday 16th of April, the hotel seemed to be at half capacity which was honestly lovely. It did fill up on Monday 21st onwards but if you're booking for 2026 - first week of UK Easter Half term is a good shout if this is a yearly trend. Room on arrival was very clean and had everything we needed. A couple of area's that could be repainted .etc if I was being incredibly picky but honestly, the cleanliness was spot on and the room itself was perfect. We treated ourself to a swim out room which is really ideal in this resort. The mattress was fantastic. We didn't go to the specialist restaurant's during our stay as you have to visit them at 17:00 ish to reserve a spot for that evening, and honestly, the buffet restaurant was more than sufficient. Tasty food and different theme's each night made it more interesting and I didn't find anything I didn't enjoy. It's not Michelin star, but it's well made food, good selection and most importantly after recent visit's to Cape Verde, it's well presented and clean (no flies!). The waiter's in the buffet were exceptional, always going out of their way to fill your drinks up and being chatty and remembering you. The Swim up room was great. Being able to just open the doors each day and not fight for sunbeds was fantastic. Wort noting - anyone can use the swim out pools, they just won't have the sunbeds you have. Not a problem in the block we were in, it was sometimes nosier than other days, but most people seemed to congregate in the main pool so quite often it was just myself and my partner in the pool. Service is infrequent here, noting the block being further away, but it does happen and a tip for a drink will get you quicker repeat service. The Wildlife here is amazing. 20 minutes after arriving we saw deer by the pool from our patio. Loads of big Iguanas, loads of Coati's running around, quite a few deer. They are all tame enough, no issues and despite there being a lot running around - not much evidence is left due to the site being very clean. Was nice walking to dinner each day and seeing deer eating shrubs .etc. The beach is absolutely fine. The staff that clean the seaweed are the hardest workers I have ever seen in such a thankless job. They were working for hours on end shovelling the seaweed up to keep the beach as clean as possible. I've seen reviews that the beach is small, and it's not massive but we never had an issue on any day getting a sunbed at any time. Worth noting though - the shallow's are very rocky so if you do like swimming in the sea, sea shoes are probably worth bringing. We took Peso's, not USD, and tipped where appropriate but never felt like we were being compelled to do so. The only negatives I could find - The fridge in the room could be colder, and the on site shop's were VERY expensive. Think £8 for a share bag of crisps. £25 for mosquito spray .etc. It's also worth going to meet the TUI rep. They are located in the next hotel which is linked to the Yucatan, the entry to this is my reception and the shops. Once through - wait for a golf cart "bus" and they'll take you to the lobby for free. It's a long walk otherwise. Also worth noting - given the location being quite foresty and humid - take mosquito prevention. We got bit half a dozen times. Not an issue and to be expected but prevention is better. Is it a true 5*? No, but some of the touches they provide certainly are and we truly had a fantastic time. The staff are fantastic, room's are perfectly fine, and you really can relax (just ask to be away from the party pool!)

  Not a 5* hotel

  Not a 5 * hotel. You pay a lot for Platinum semi private swim out, just to find out that ALL hotel guests are allowed in the rather small pool. The maintenance is poor. The food in the buffet is good but the same every day. Beds are fantastic. The rainshowers just dripped and the wall shower was made for very small people. The surroundings were magnificent. Cleaning perfect. Service perfect. Smiles everywhere. Too expensive through.

  Great place with great staff

  Me and my Fiance stayed here in April 2025 and it was a great place. It has good food, great rooms and an excellent staff. Enrique and the bell boys were especially great. Will definitely staff with this brand and resort again. Fave restaurants were rodeo and koatsu. But all were good.

  Perfect

  Foam party are pretty fun ... cleaning lady Cynthia is excellent bubbly personality! Bellhop Enrique is the best always ready to help and always happy to help u the best he can 👌👌👌 The staff is all pretty good and happy - bartenders make good drinks and waitress love to joke around with you
