We just returned from a 7 night stay at the Platinum Yucatan. This was our 3rd time (2nd time this year) staying at this resort and the 1st time for couple that we travelled with. Once you arrive you are greeted by Israel (doorman) with a big smile and a helping hand. Everyday he always greets you with a smile and asks how your day is going and if there is anything you need help with. Israel always goes above and beyond to ensure you are having a great vacation. He truly is a remarkable person. Maximiliano from the concierge desk was awesome and always helped us with dinner reservations and suggestions for alternative restaurants when the one we wanted was full. Always greeted you with a smile and was so helpful. For the Buffet Yucatan we only ate there for breakfast and were greet by Lizeth's smile every morning. She was always happy and always remembered that we liked to sit in Bryan's section. Bryan was awesome, he remembered that I liked a mimosa and cappuccino for breakfast and I didn't have to ask as he always took care of us. We can't forgot Alejandro who greeted us each morning ( we had a swim out, so we were always there when he came) when he cleaned our room. He did a great job cleaning and ensuring we had everything we needed. Since we had a swim out room we didn't go to the main pool for drinks, Catalina & Rosie were awesome and ensured our drinks were never empty. They always greeted you with a big smile. Overall the resort is good, needs some TLC but that doesn't prevent you from having a good time. We really enjoyed the restaurants on the Sunset side. If I was to add a suggestion it would be to replace the potato chip chairs at the swim outs as they are impossible to relax or get out of. Most of the people in the swim outs are middle age and need more comfortable lounging chairs.

We attended a wedding for my daughter and stayed at the Yucatan Platinum Princess from Nov 12-18, 2025. From the moment we got there we were treated like royalty. The Doorman Isreal greeted us like friends and said hello by name everytime he saw us up until he said goodbye when we left. Every employee was friendly and helpful, from the front desk to housekeeping, to wait staff, bartenders and the spa employees. This was an epic experiance and the facilities are top notch. We Will return!

Excellent Resort
We were welcomed from our first step into the resort by all the staff but especially Isreal the doorman. He made us feel special and always had a wonderful greeting for us. The food and service were great. Hope to come back next year.

Platinum Yucatan Princess Adults only - Excellent staff
This was our second visit to the Platinum Yucatan Princess hotel. We returned because we loved our first visit and the 2nd was just as good. The hotel is clean, quiet if required. There is one downfall though, the beach is beautiful but there are lots of rocks when going into the sea, but apart from that it's lovely. We want to mention the staff though, they are lovely, professional and do an excellent job. A special mention is for Israel and Flavio, the Bellboys/Doorman. Both Israel and Flavio were there on our last trip and they remembered us. They are very welcoming, professional and excellent at their jobs. They are both an asset to the hotel and make people feel welcome and important which promotes a great experience and harnesses a want to return. Also a mention for Daysi at the beach bar. Very hard worker and happy in her work. Had long busy days, but always smiling and pleasant and remembered everyone's drinks. Excellent work, Israel, Flavio and Daysi

Fantastic experience, nice rooms, great buffet, beautiful tropical environment, lots of different pools to choose from, lovely beach and lots to do, tennis, gym, spa and entertainment- great service and friendly staff must mention Rogelio who helped us enyoy great Mexican wine and Alfredo my inspiring tenniscoach
