  Bell boy

  When i got there i was greeted from javier reyes bell boy he is the sweatiest soul he is helpful and reliable he helps up around the resort with luggage when you come make sure to ask for javier reyes he will give you connects to people and the fun and good things to do in cancun Javier reyes will put you first if he isnt busy but always have a smile on his face very good guy

  Lovely Hotel

  This was the first time visiting this hotel in November for my daughters birthday. It's a nice hotel unfortunately I didn't get the swim out rooms I requested facing the pool area on checking in the lady assured me we got those rooms but once checking in it wasn't. I was so extremely tired from the poor transport service which was 3 hours late which is another review I couldn't be bothered to go back to the reception to query it. Drinks in the hotel are premium drinks really nice cocktails. Food was lovely we enjoyed the sports bar at the sister hotel they had different cocktails which where also nice and so was the food. Rooms are large extremely. The transport guys who arranges taxis are excellent extremely helpful. The only fault I found was there not enough sunbeds at the pool I don't know if it's because of the swim out rooms but I found those people using those rooms still reserved beds even though their rooms where right beside the pool being quite selfish. In the months of November the air-conditioning in the main dinning room and some of the restaurants don't need to be on full blast especially the first few days weather was quite windy and cold and then to Sit in an air con room wasn't great at all. OVERALL it was an enjoyable stay. I would recommend it too anyone looking to go.

  Smart slick and peaceful

  Firstly it’s not 5 star imho but it’s a very good well presented 4 star and I didn’t pay 5 star money so I’m very happy with our trip. If you like “lively” days by the main pool (not for us) then you’ll have a great time up to 5pm when it’s all brought to a close. If you want peace and quiet there are lots of other poolside areas and the beach where we spent most of our time. You may want to ask for a room in a quiet area. There are lots of staff on hand and every one of them is professional, polite and helpful. 5 good restaurants plus a beach bar, we didn’t book anything and were never turned away or asked to wait. The buffet was far better than some of the disorderly bun fights I’ve seen elsewhere with good quality and choice, plenty of space and never ran out of food. We had 2 x Junior Deluxe Suites and everything worked perfectly, was in immaculate condition and serviced promptly every day.

  Terrible food

  I am staying at this hotel right now. What I want to say that food at buffet restaurant is terrible. It is hard to find edible meals. My recommendation is don't book this hotel.

  Great experience

  This was a great resort to stay in. The minute I got there I was welcomed by the doorman Israel and Javier, they also made my stay feel at home, greeted me every day and checked in on how my day was going. These two are just amazing people. The server at the buffet restaurant Bryan was also amazing. Always made sure he got what I needed. All the staff at the resort too are quite friendly and welcoming. Spa experience was awesome and so relaxing thanks to the staff. The food was okay, limited options and not quite hot. Wasn’t the greatest for me considering I’m a picky eater though you could never go wrong with breakfast selections. The speciality restaurants had better food I would say. Great main pool though can get quite loud if your room is facing the pool and just want a rest in kinda day. Was always quite full. The rooms are supper spacious, cleanliness on point though could do better, I noticed a musty, sweat kinda odour on one of the throw pillows indicating no one noted it from previous guests that stayed there to launder it for the next guest (never used it and just kept it on the side) cautious with the toilets not to plug them, gathered from a few guests their toilets plugged up before I became the lucky one to have mine plugged. Overall my experience at platinum yucatan princess was great and I would definitely stay there again.
