Great experience
We had an amazing experience at the resort. Adalberto took great care of us and we had an amazing time at Reserve suite amenities. The mixology session with Jesus and Aden was really fun and me and my friends had the best time. Would recommend 10/10

SWIMMABLE Beach at this 5 Star property!
What a joy. How absolutely wonderful, this whole stay. I stayed in The Reserve which gave 24/7 concierge service if needed. The grounds are lovely, the food choices many and the quality of food was very impressive. I'm a luxury travel advisor so I stay in many of the best places in the world. This is in the top tier of what I've experienced. Food- 5 star. Service, the same. Accommodations are spacious and the view from my balcony was sublime. We even saw a whale breach! Pool entertainment was fun and the vibe was very relaxed. It has a SWIMMABLE BEACH and yes, I went in. Great beach!

Billed (and charged) as a 5-star hotel this is anything but. Reading that they sometimes put couples in rooms with 2 double beds we booked a higher level (the Reserve) but still were assigned a 2 double bed room despite asking for a king bed. We had to pay another $500 US to get one and the "ocean front" room faced onto the back of a pavilion were all the industrial elements and bins were. Food and drinks were average and occasionally above this. With all restaurants there are items off the "all inclusive" that you can upgrade to and the prices are steep - same with wine. Most staff (as you will find in most Mexican resorts) were excellent and tried their best to satisfy. Other than the lobby, the buildings were showing age with quick patch ups in many areas and the rooms were basic hotel rooms - bed a small table with 2 side chairs - no couch etc. Avoid the "join the club" talk - billed as a friendly 45 minute talk which was a high pressure sales to join their Circle club - beginning at $10000 a year (US) and going up from there. The salesman even said that we shouldnt base our decision on the experience at this hotel as it was their "ugly duckling" in the fleet of hotels. Most Best Western hotels have superior rooms. All said we are obviously not going back but enjoyed the weather, pool and setting on the beach.
