    Requirements for Weddings in Costa Rica
    Birth Certificates of both (Bride and Groom): Original and copy
    Passport: Original and copy
    Certificate of civil state: Single state certificate of the home country. Final divorce decree if either party is divorced, death certificate if either part is widowed. Only originals.
    Two witnesses: They cannot be relatives. (If the bride and groom do not bring their own witnesses, the hotel can provide them)
    Additional information: Occupation, addresses, nationalities, ages, of both, bride and groom and witnesses.
    The bride and groom must be at the property at least 4 days prior to the wedding date, in order to finalize the necessary paper work.
    Ceremony must be scheduled with officials at least one month in advance.

    Beautiful resort

    Beautiful resort, the 2 restaurants had really good food, the staff was amazing. Very friendly. We spent most nights in the lobby bar and had the best bartenders!! Brian and Fernando were amazing! Really friendly, great to chat with and made our favourite drinks perfectly every time, even bringing us drinks before we had to request them. Sad to say goodbye at the end of the week

    Katherine,Hallary, and Manuel, is very good and teach us basic spanish, Zumba and guide us to bike tour, very friendly and energetic and bubbly. Great experience!

    Just BOOK it :)

    Honestly! My first time in CR and during the Wet/Slow/Low season. I’d come here during this time again because I enjoy the solitude HOWEVER the experience at Occidental Papagayo was 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ we were First Club members and from the availability of all inclusive food to drinks I couldn’t have asked for more. JJ helped us plan all the Excursions. Abraham, Jose, and Eric helped drive/take us on our tours and were so nice and informative of all the places to go/see. EVERYONE at the hotel was kind and sweet they remembered our names and took great care of us. (Waitresses, front desk, waiters, spa associates, bar tenders, shuttle drivers, etc) The hotel has private access to a shared public beach. (I got 2 massages there for $40 each)…. There’s 2 pools, every room has great views so it doesn’t matter which one they give you. Honestly just book it and enjoy your time. You can tour the rest of CR or enjoy the resort the whole time. Plus-> there’s 2 gyms one outdoor with weights and one inside with cardio machines. (It’s humid as hell though haha but that’s the rainforest for you) :) Rain or shine you can tell that the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you’re truly enjoying your stay. It’s ADULTS only so that’s nice too….

    Staff at check in and out not friendly or helpful. TV mainly Spanish stations, limited English stations with only few channels available. Not a variety of food.no entertainment every night.
