Requirements for Weddings in Costa Rica
Birth Certificates of both (Bride and Groom): Original and copy
Passport: Original and copy
Certificate of civil state: Single state certificate of the home country. Final divorce decree if either party is divorced, death certificate if either part is widowed. Only originals.
Two witnesses: They cannot be relatives. (If the bride and groom do not bring their own witnesses, the hotel can provide them)
Additional information: Occupation, addresses, nationalities, ages, of both, bride and groom and witnesses.
The bride and groom must be at the property at least 4 days prior to the wedding date, in order to finalize the necessary paper work.
Ceremony must be scheduled with officials at least one month in advance.

Overall, a good stay, only bad thing was the mattress was worn and very uncomfortable. Scenery was beautiful, staff was very friendly, and the wildlife was right there (monkeys and racoons).

One of my best stays! Everything was excellent. My only complaint way getting around as you needed to get a ride to your room, the pool and lobby etc

We had a blast!
Great views, and location, the grounds are beautiful, one pool was perfect and clean the one with the Wet bar, not so great, cloudy, debris, and even a few dead crabs in the water. Buffett was good but the choices get old, steak was a little tough at the steakhouse. Had to ask for towels and the beverages were not refilled as they said they would, hotel could use some updates.

Poor service, pool is unsanitary to swim in, cheap liquor served, staff steals from room, food is bland and overall not worth staying at. And pools and bars.close too early at 6

Decent time so far while to go.
Some nighttime activities here and many day tours available. Perfect place to meet people to go on tours with or enjoy night activities. Mostly disco and bar is what is available for night. Japenese and italian restaurant ar hotel for reservations but buffet is usually enough variety and choice. Beach area of hotel is beautiful.

- Advisory*Important Note* Costa Rica will impose some restrictions for Holy Week. Alcohol is not permitted to be sold or consumed. This ban on alcohol starts the Thursday prior to Easter and runs through Easter Sunday. A few hotels purchase special permits to serve alcohol, but generally it is not available. In addition, most restaurants, shops, and bars will be closed for the same time period. Restaurants in the hotels will be operating. The City Tour will not be operating.
