🌟 Exceptional Experience! 🌟 Small resort with around 350 rooms — spotless, beautifully maintained, intimate, and perfect for disconnecting. Everything is just a short walk away, which makes the whole stay super enjoyable. Our room was clean, pretty, and comfortable. Huge thanks to Cindy, our housekeeper, for her impeccable work! As for the food… wow! 🤩 Every meal was a delightful surprise. The ingredients were high quality, and everything was fresh and flavorful. Special shout-out to the amazing team who made our stay even more memorable: 🍽️ Gerardo – warm, attentive service 🍝 Gabriel (Italian restaurant) – super professional and friendly 🍔 Erik (Time to Chill) – always helpful and quick 🍸 At the Salted Rim lobby bar, service was excellent thanks to Gibran, Victor, and Rafa… but our biggest crush was Luis, a true mixologist — passionate and talented! His cocktails are on par with the best bars 💯 🍹 Ivan and Reyes at the pool bar – truly exceptional service, always smiling and attentive 🔸 Good to know: if you bring your own wine or alcohol to the à la carte restaurants, there’s a $25 USD corkage fee. 🌊 There’s no direct access to the beach, and like much of the region, there was some sargassum. But honestly, the pools are gorgeous, the vibe is peaceful, and if you get a swim-up room, that’s the ultimate relaxation experience. All in all, a perfect stay. We’re leaving relaxed, well-fed… and truly well taken care of! 😄

Family and Couples trip
Our group of eight just returned from a short three night , four day long stay here at Margaritaville Riviera Maya, the property is fairly small and it’s very modern, overall we all had a fantastic time , we had four swim out suites between us and they were definitely the way to go as far as choosing a room type, we celebrated one of our group members birthday one of the days and the staff was great and very accommodating in making her feel special, a couple of downsides to this resort was the reservations for the two upscale restaurants, the Steak House and Frank and Lola’s Italian restaurant, and the fact that they are not open every night which is a huge bummer, the steak house was only open our arrival day and it was already completely booked for the entire evening, and they were only able to book us at the Italian restaurant for our last night and not until 9:00 p.m. and by that time we were all so hungry we just ended up going to eat at Landshark again , so we didn’t get to try either of those, they really should try to have all the restaurants open every night , also this resort has no beach access, the ocean comes right up to the retaining wall of the resort, so if you’re beach lovers and that’s a must , this probably isn’t your place, the pools are fantastic though , my wife and I went to the sister property last year Riviera Cancún family resort and it’s a much more laid back vibe if you’re just looking for a low energy relaxing vibe, and it’s an older resort with more mature vegetation and it had a beautiful beach, also something that we didn’t understand was the buffet restaurant for breakfast forced men to wear shirts with sleeves , no cut off or tank tops allowed, even sweater knit fancy cutoffs were a no go, yet women could wear tanks , even bikini tops, which made no sense , never been to a breakfast buffet that had this rule , let alone strictly for Men, especially when the app and restaurant dress codes does not mention it at all, the dress code says casual-informal , overall we all felt well taken care of and had a memorable and great trip

1st Time in Margaritaville and we felt in love
My wife and I went there for a quick summer vacation for just 7 days and it was wonderful. There is usually this concern (in Mexican beaches) that Mexican guests don't get the attention as foreigners (like Americans or Europeans) but this isn't the case. In Margaritaville we felt no difference at all and we felt that we were treated like we were from the royalty. And as for my review I will share my findings on it: -The Good- -Friendly staff all across the board. From the lobby, bell boys, bartenders to waiters, everyone is really concerned about you having the greatest time and experience. -Special recognition to Gibran, Luis and Victor from Salted Rim Bar, Jaime from the Boathouse, Moises from 5'o Clock bar and Erick from License to Chill. -They made sure we were always attended, we couldn't have a single cup with no drink, constantly asking if everything was ok and they surely made us feel at home or better. -The food is outstanding, Frank and Lola's, JWB House and the "Pacific Rim" (Boathouse) experience were truly great. I couldn't believe that food that great could be "all you can eat". These restaurants make you feel you are in a REAL fancy restaurant. -The drinks are perfect. In my experience, the drinks in an "all inclusive" resorts usually are water down versions of real drinks or drinks with unknown liquor brands. Not here, the recipes and bartenders make sure you get a true drink that is tasty but also has a kick to it. -The room is gorgeous, so much space and so clean. We stayed at a Luxury Paradise Room and it felt it was brand new. -The bed was out of this world, this was my first time ever that I have not missed my own bed on a trip. Better yet, I'm missing that bed right now. -When you check in you get VIP treatment at the door and you get a Margarita Popsicle which I wish they could offer them in any restaurant, so good! -The OK- -We went on July and it wasn't too crowded. If you're looking for a quiet trip with not a lot of people, this is the place for you. -There are 3 Pools, super clean and nice to hang out. But there aren't very deep. In the deepest level the water reached just below my chest. -The restaurant (sports bar-like) Landshark is ok for a quick bite during lunch if you feel bored of the License to Chill Restaurant. -The Breakfast buffet at The Boathouse is fair. The food is not out of this world and you can expect to have at least decent breakfast there. -The pool activities from the Entertainment team are quite fun and include such as trivias, balance contest over a surfboard and other fun activities to either partake or just watch. -The Bad- -No actual beach to enjoy. The hotel doesn't have a proper beach. So if you're looking for a beach walk this isn't for you. -Sargassum. The hotel is not at fault by this but please note that a lot of it was present during our stay. - The closing times at the pool bars is at 5 PM, too early for my taste. There is still plenty of sunlight to enjoy at the pool and you won't have more drinks to enjoy. -There aren't many options for night activities, so either you have dinner, a drink at the Lobby bar or go to the Landshark bar is the only nightlife you can get. -Closing time at the Salted Rim bar is at 11 PM, it could be later on since the usual restaurant reservations are full until 9 PM. -Beware of getting yourself into those sales presentations trying to get you to purchase an expensive membership. We were naive and we lost 2 hours and then felt super threatened for refusing to purchase one. -The prices at the store are super inflated (over 300%). So make sure you bring from home all your essentials: lotion, sunblock, etc. -The point system in place to "fill" your mini bar is a little bit gimmicky. The only options you get to choose from using your points are: some beer, soda, 2 options of chips and mid-range chocolate. If you thought you would get bottles of any spirit, they are at a cost (quite expensive). Overall experience was excellent, after 7 years without a vacation, I had a blast and a super relaxing time at Margaritaville. Definitely we are considering in returning next year but for 10 days instead.

Lack of a beach and not being able to go for walks outside the complex.
Just back from our 2 week stay Upon arriving this smell greeted us and it was horrendous. Room was lovely and big. Cleaned every day. Staff were friendly and helpful. A big shoutout to the bartenders Gibran and Luis who were so friendly and made our stay so much better with their fabulous cocktails. The entertainment staff Angel and Nicole and the rest of the crew were so great and entertaining. Can’t understand why the Margaritaville can’t do what the complex down the way it looks like they put up nets to keep the seaweed at bay and made a small beach. Steakhouse and Italian restaurants were lovely. Overall food was good. Would have liked to go walking outside the complex.

Wonderful experience
This resort is very clean, pays attention to all the details, and you really feel pampered here. We were very well taken care of by our butlers, Armando and Frida! They made everything so seamless and were very attentive to anything we needed. The wait staff and entertainment staff were great as well! Highly recommend. The beach is non existent at the moment, which was disappointing, but it is not the resort’s fault and they are working to fix the erosion from the hurricane.
