    Our brunch experience

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our brunch at Ladera on May 4th, 2025. As nature enthusiasts, we were captivated by the picturesque view of Petit Piton. The food was delightful, and the service was exceptionally welcoming, making us feel comfortable and valued as locals—a refreshing experience we highly recommend and look forward to repeating.

    Unbelievable experience

My wife and I came here for our ten year anniversary and had the most incredible experience. Not only are the facilities and views absolutely breathtaking, but the people are unbelievable. We were asked before we left what our favorite part of Ladera was, and we stated without a doubt it was the people. Saidlee, skoll, and theo were the butlers that we had the pleasure of meeting who took care of us during our stay, and they were nothing short of exceptional. Yvette at the front desk was unbelievably kind and helpful. Teddy with housekeeping was an incredible and kind person who I got to know for some time, and even though his role is not directly interacting with the visitors, he provided one of the best interactions of our trip. The only difficulty I had with the resort is trying to remember everybody’s name as I would love to list them all here, there was nobody that fell short of exceptional in terms of service and friendliness. We even had some rainy days, and they were probably some of the best rainy days I’ve ever experienced. I would absolutely recommend this to anybody considering a romantic, exceptional, unique experience. We will certainly be coming back again in the future.

    Highly Recommend!

The hospitality at Ladera was incredible. Everyone was so genuinely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure the stay was as good as possible. The main restaurant at the resort was delicious and the food timely. Most importantly the views from every angle of this resort were breathtaking and truly once and a lifetime. The resort had so many fun things to do: an outdoor gym, a giant tree house, a beautiful nature trail, a game room, yoga, pools, and our favorite the hideaway rum bar!! We did the mixology class with Jeremie and it was so much fun, and he is a very talented mixologist making some of the best drinks we have had on the island! The resort also was great with providing transportation and adventure trips across the island, they made it quick and easy! The three walls was an adjustment as the rooms get very warm even at night and there are bugs but it is clear Ladera does everything possible to account for this. In regard to bugs they provide a service to prep the place for night by spraying down certain areas, there is a bug net over the bed , and bug repellent devices that are effective. In summary, this place is one of a kind, peaceful, beautiful, and we would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to St Lucia! Special shoutout again to Jeremie and Ariella for being so amazing!

    Ladera jungle vibes

Ladera is a beautiful property nestled along a ridgeline with incredible views of Petit Piton. The people working there were warm, friendly and genuine and happy to engage in conversations. The resort is not huge but laid out such that it felt like it covered a lot of ground and felt sparsely occupied even though it was 80% when we were there. It felt like staying in the jungle and there were prominent breezes that for the most part kept things cooler than being at beach level. It does feel a touch isolated and you'll take a shuttle to the beach, taxi to all but dinner there or across the street, but we saw that as a virtue. There is lush vegetation on the property and a gorgeous and varied nature hike trail on property that took you to incredible views, a meditation pond, a huge treehouse and an outdoor gym, as well as gardens for the hotel restaurant. There's a cool underground rum bar and we had a great meal at a weekly poolside fish fry with more local options. We were there for my wife's birthday and they made her feel incredibly special. Small downsides, our room was a bit dated and the tech was sometimes frustrating (room ipads). And, make friends with geckos and tree frogs that live amongst you, but we actually loved the sounds of the jungle at night and the views, vibe, friendliness and tropical setting more than made up for that versus a more generic feeling, absolute state of the art resort. Ladera felt like one of one.

A piece of heaven on earth

The Ladera is pure magic! We cannot say enough wonderful things about this beautiful property and the staff that made us feel so welcome and special during our week there. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and they went above and beyond to help us celebrate. A special thanks to Mariska, who served us for breakfast each day and many of our days by the pool. Lorne was also fantastic in her service at our meals! Rohan was so kind and helpful with getting us to and from our room. We had multiple amazing dinners at Dasheen, a beautiful setting, excellent service, and delicious food. Gardner Ray keeps the property lush with so many interested and beautiful plants and flowers. The wood carvings on property are so intricate and beautiful, all created by one of the artisans on staff. Our time in the spa was absolutely gorgeous, relaxing and special. Highly recommend the couples massage package that included lunch at the spa cafe. The spa amenities are fantastic and whole experience was perfect. We loved our room, our plunge pool was beautiful and well maintained, and the views are out of this world. The Ladera staff always called us by name, were so helpful in making reservations, recommendations for activities, and making sure we had everything we needed. They were responsive, helpful, and the epitome of hospitality. I would recommend the Ladera to anyone who is going to St. Lucia. We hope to come back some day, it was truly a trip that will never be forgotten.
