Executive Chef Nigel Mitchel and his culinary team are a one-of-a-kind Dasheene Team, offering excellence in service with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, promoting the Ladera Eco-Friendly Sustainable Philosophy; this is why Dasheene is one of the best restaurants in St. Lucia and the Caribbean. Most of the produce comes from the Ladera Garden as well as the locally and organically produced, spices and grains grown on local farms, including the fresh seafood caught from the nearby waters, comprising 70% of what is created in the kitchen. In addition, your palettes will be taken on a Wine Tour of the World at the Dasheene Wine Cellar, boasting over 500 wines, and stocking over 2000 bottles of wine from around the world.

As he shares tales of St. Lucian rum legends, your expert Rummelier will guide you through our rum and rum-based cocktail menu. Choose from rums on tap in oak casks, carefully chosen rum flights or rare, top-shelf rums. Pair your choice with charcuterie, tapas, and cheese plates. The Rum Bar is available every Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday.

    Perched above the rainforest, in a mango tree over 300 years old, our four-story treehouse is one of our most unique experiences. Amidst the rustling leaves and gentle breezes, you’ll find solace and inspiration here. Bring a book, enjoy a game of chess, or just take in the awe-inspiring views, sounds and scents of the rainforest, Relax. Unwind. Repeat. 

    The Workshop at Ladera 
    Guests can visit the on-site workshop to learn how the master craftsman creates the furniture used in the rooms, at Dasheene, and many other places on property. The Ladera team will walk you through their process and demonstrate their craft of uniquely created pieces.

    Complimentary Yoga at Ladera 
    Join our resident yogis for an energizing morning practice or wind down your day with a restorative evening practice. Suitable for all levels of experience and beginners are welcome. 
     
    Ladera Garden Tour 
    Take a walk through our very own Botanical Gardens with our head gardener and discover some of our local, tropical plants, herbs, and flowers, as well as their use in everyday St Lucian life. 

    Ladera Guided Nature Trail Hike 
    No experience gets you closer to Petit Piton. As you walk the 2-mile trail, our local guide tells tales of its legends. Along the way, you'll find a yoga platform, meditation space, and sacred spaces that captivated the original St. Lucians.

    Immersion Art Studio at Ladera 
    Step into our Immersive Art Studio and witness the craftsmanship of our St. Lucian artisans firsthand. Take home personalized treasures from vibrant bowls made from calabash gourds, and local clay sculptures, to intricate wooden carvings crafted with passion and skill. With Ladera's signature punch and Chef Nigel Mitchell showcasing different traditional St Lucian cuisine favorites.     Honeymoon Perfection w/ a Breathtaking View

    Ladera is hands down the most beautiful location I've ever been to! The open-air views right out of our room was just breathtaking! We literally spent hours just holding each other taking in the Pitons. Perfect, perfect honeymoon spot! Expensive? Yes. But very much worth it! Also, shout-out to the staff who made our stay even more pleasant and bespoke, running up and down on our behalf - especially Vianney, great guy, made us feel really comfortable during our stay. Loved our stay!

    K&S <3 Ladera

    My wife and I recently visited Ladera for 4 days. We were there to celebrate our honeymoon. We are SO glad to have chosen Ladera! I would rate them a full 5 star operation on all facets; treatment from their staff, beautiful accommodations, views, outstanding food, and so many fun things to do! The experience my wife and I had there will be a memory we will cherish forever. We were able to go hiking on the beautiful trails, got a couples massage at Leve, had a wonderful yoga session with Anson (he's awesome), got breakfast and dinner at all their restaurants, and enjoyed the beautiful sunset amongst the Pitons each day from our balcony. Would definitely recommend checking out the cool tree house too! Thank you to ALL at Ladera for making us feel special and at home. Special thanks to our butlers/chefs/helpers, but especially to Devonte, Vinnie "V", and Schol. My apologies for not remembering everyone else's name but they all were fantastic.

    Amazing Stay

    My wife and I decided to make a last minute trip to St Lucia in December. We book Ladera based on Trip Advisor reviews and Tube Videos. Like any thing you can always, find something negative but this place is amazing. The view is spectacular, the resort is charming and the people are extremely friendly. We consider ourselves hard to please but this experience has been nothing short of amazing.

    Honeymoon

    We stayed at Ladera Resort in St. Lucia for our honeymoon, spending 8 nights and 9 days, and chose the all-inclusive option. From the moment we arrived, I was brought to tears — and that feeling never left. This resort is truly something special. Everything exceeded our expectations: the people, the service, the food, the cocktails, and of course, the views. We stayed in Room N, which was on the smaller side but absolutely perfect for us — intimate, peaceful, and exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon. We dined at Dasheene every single night and still couldn’t get enough. We’ll be dreaming about the shrimp risotto, blackened tuna, and the post-dinner chocolates for a very long time. The staff are what truly make Ladera unforgettable. A few people deserve special recognition: Stephanie, who handled our turndown service with such care Abigail at the front desk, who was always warm and welcoming Janelle at Dasheene, who went out of her way every night to say hello and make us feel remembered And our absolute favorite — the gentleman at the Hideaway Rum Bar, who was unbelievably kind and even shared the recipe for our favorite nightly cocktails I was emotional when we arrived, and just as emotional when it was time to leave. Ladera is not just a resort — it’s an experience, and one we will cherish forever. We cannot wait to return.

    Excellent wedding anniversary trip destination

    My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend at Ladera to celebrate our anniversary. Our room was amazing—two stories, outdoor spaces, a plunge pool and a beautiful sunset view. We took a hike, a sunset cruise and trips to two beaches. The spa was excellent too.
