⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Exceptional 10-Day Stay at JOIA Paraíso We spent 10 wonderful days at JOIA Paraíso in Mexico, staying in an ocean-view room in Building 70, and once again, everything was absolutely perfect, just as we have come to expect from this resort. We would like to personally thank several outstanding members of the staff who truly made our stay unforgettable. A very special thank you to Gabriel at reception — warm, welcoming, and extremely professional. He handled every request with care and dedication. He was a true highlight of our stay. Although we didn’t see him often in our building due to his other responsibilities, every interaction we had with him was exceptional. A huge thank you to Hilario! Every day at the pool, his water workouts were an absolute pleasure. Jovial, funny, energetic, and spontaneous, he made us want to come back day after day just to train in the pool with him. We also sincerely thank Sofia for her kindness and thoughtful little attentions at the pool. Another big thank you to Laeticia for her incomparable service at the pool, as well as to Lenin, who also provided excellent service. Thank you to the buffet hostesses — we unfortunately do not know all their names, but they were truly wonderful. Thank you as well to the servers at the Japanese, Italian, and Steakhouse restaurants for their great service. A special thank you to Karina and Jeaneth at the lobby, and to Leonardo at the buffet for his humor and excellent service. Finally, an infinite thank you to our biggest highlight of the entire trip: Cristian, at the breakfast and lunch buffet. Cristian is an extraordinary person — attentive, caring, and truly dedicated to creating a highly personalized experience. His thoughtful touches made our stay unforgettable. Dec 20, 2025I have spent less for same experience. Lovely facilities, service staff is great. But experience is just…. Meh.
Ok… for starters. This is the second time I’ve been here. We only came back because it’s the same resort our friends were married at and they love it so… ok. The facilities are nice. Service staff are phenomenal, actually can’t say enough great things about them. The massage therapist I had was VERY good. However, overall I’ve spent half what I spent to go here for the exact same experience. It’s just nothing special for the price. There was always a wait at the restaurants. They seem understaffed. Which, for the season, could be why… to be fair. The beach here is a rocky beach you have to walk down to the family section of the property to get away from them… but then you have to deal with children. They have an app for the property that is finicky/clunky and not overly informative. Mixed review for me.

Wonderful resort
Just came back from the resort, celebrated our anniversary, it’s our 3 time we went there and every time it’s fabulous, we enjoyed food and ambiance of this resort. Stuff is great and very professional. I absolutely enjoyed yoga and water aerobics with Hilario and Cynthia, they are the greatest, will definitely be back next year

This is our 3rd stay at this resort. Service: 2/5 While staff is overall friendly, there has been critical gaps in standard services. Beach and spa are always low on towels and water. Our check in has been delayed both times. Resort maintenance is more intrusive. It’s our 10 year anniversary and we had upgraded to the vila. This check in is also delayed. Beach drink service has been slow. WiFi is awful especially on the beach. Coffee machine in the room is broken. Butler response has been slow, sometimes takes over an hour to get a response. Beach vendors and beach massage vendors are much more aggressive and intrusive, disrupting the safe and quiet experience. The trip as a whole has been very disappointing compared to previous trips, not to mention that it’s significantly more expensive now. It’s going to be very hard to come back to this place in the future. Especially since we are loyal guests

Staff are great at Joia Paradisio riviera maya
Mirna is an excellent butler (but we do miss her by the pools) Mirna is professional and competent and took care of us expertly this trip as always. Mirna is always wonderful. Elizabeth - pool concierge and Adrianna - the quiet pool waiter are both awesome! And Jonathan the bartender is so polite and his drinks are great! He is awesome.
