Grand, opulent, first class can’t capture the quality or depth of our experience at JOIA. Our butlers - Edwardo & Cezar were very attentive & responsive to our requests. Exceptional hospitality was shown by all staff - especially by Manager Jessica Ponce. It was a caring family atmosphere with world class comforts to make our stay the best winter get away ever.

1st trip to Joia and it did not disappoint!
We booked our trip just a few weeks before going and had a hard time deciding where to stay with so many hotels in Punta Cana. We kept looking at Joia Bavaro so went ahead and booked. So glad we did! We can’t say enough of how wonderful a trip this was our family. We have two adult children who came with us and they absolutely loved it! The daily activities were a lot of fun if you were looking for something to do. The shows were great, especially the Queen tribute band. The staff is 100% what makes this resort special. The resort itself is beautiful and amazingly well kept. We liked that it was a smaller resort and feel it helped to get to really interact and get to know the people who worked so hard to make our vacation perfect. Some special mentions - Chocolate and Alex - we can’t thank you enough for being so engaging and friendly and keeping the fun going! We so appreciate all that you did to make our trip so fun. Dai’s dance lessons and evening dancing really were a hit and our kids (26 and 22 so obviously not “kids”) really enjoyed learning from and laughing with you. Our butler Valentin went above and beyond to make our trip smooth and seamless. He checked in with us very frequently and we appreciated all of his hard work. We also had Junior as one of our butlers for the first day or two that we were there and he was incredible as well. Samuel, one of the servers in the restaurants and buffet - his smile was infectious and he made us laugh every time! His attention to detail was fantastic and we really enjoyed meeting him. Daniel at the front desk - he was incredibly helpful from the moment we booked our trip through when we left to go home. So appreciated all of his help. The staff that took care of our room were fantastic. Lots of towel animals and sweet notes and the room was done perfectly everyday. As you tell, we loved this resort. We are fairly picky travellers and don’t have a complaint about this trip. We will definitely go back to visit again!

Amazing Staff and Fantastic Time !
We just returned from our first visit to Joia Bavaro. We usually go to Joia in Mexico and have been going there for several years. We weren’t sure we would love this resort before traveling there, but we did! We absolutely loved this resort, and it has become our new favorite! Excellent staff and very attentive. Rosa at star prestige area checked on us several times during our stay whether at the pool or the beach club area, and truly made us feel very welcomed. She always asked if we needed anything or if she can do anything. Rosa is an asset to this resort and takes her job seriously to make sure everyone is has a wonderful experience. The beach was gorgeous ! Food was very good. We were impressed by the shows at night. Much better than shows we’ve seen at several resorts. The lobby dancing at night was great with lots of dancing. The dancers were great and engaged everyone. I loved dancing with them, especially Luz. Thomas at the lobby bar made some great Old Fashion drinks for us. Loved his singing, too. I need to mention Julian, the 26 year old sommelier. He was very knowledgeable for as young as he is. We bought two nice bottles of wine, but there are also many free wines. Martin at the member beach bar was awesome. The drinks were always perfect. We will be back for sure! Thank you for making our vacation wonderful!

Will come again!
Best experiences at an AI to date. Never trouble getting chairs at beach or pool. Buffet food was all fresh and restaurants were not packed. Entire staff is outstanding, but the pool bartender Ery and our butlers Cofe and Reynaldo went above and beyond. In addition, grounds are immaculately maintained. Will be back!

Caribbean Paradise!
We had a lovely stay. The service from our Butlers, Eduardo and Cesar, was impeccable. They even had a hot bath waiting for me when I got back from the spa. The food was excellent and I made sure to get some coffee to take with me to make at home cause it was simply delicious. I can’t wait to come again. Thank you for the royal treatment ❤️
