This is our 2nd stay at Joia Grand Bavaro was fabulous! Our butlers Ray and Armando were so attentive and helpful. They answered all our questions and were always asking if we needed anything. Augusto at the star prestige beach area was amazing. He ran around all day, getting us drinks and taking care of the area. He works very hard. Our room was very well maintained. It had everything we needed and more. Every night they did something special in the room to make us feel at home and welcome. The restaurants and the buffets were top notch! We can’t wait to come back! Right now they are decorating for Christmas. It looks fabulous!

Exceptional!
Another lovely vacation at JOIA Iberostar Bávaro! The hotel is top notch. The waitstaff, butlers, maids, bartenders, etc are incredible! The rooms are clean and modern. The property has everything you could want for a fun and relaxing vacation. The restaurants are incredible. The buffets are great. The pool bar is so much fun. Access to the ocean is steps from the pool area. I highly recommend this hotel!

Wonderful
I wish the rooms were a bit bigger but we didn’t spend much time in the rooms anyway. Butlers were phenomenal Valentin and junior are THE BEST!!!! Pools were great! Food was great! Can’t wait to come back next year!!!

Paradise of the Caribbean
We have been to this resort 5 times! It’s a beautiful resort. Luxury is their business. Our butlers Cesar and Eduardo were fabulous, attentive, and caring. The restaurants are delicious but so is the buffet if that is your style. Plenty of places by the pool to relax. Plenty of activities if you want to keep busy. The spa is amazing- I could spend hours in there. We booked an ocean view room- unfortunately it was lackluster from 2nd floor where they put us. The view is obstructed by trees. Mini fridge broke, but Cesar quickly addressed the issue. They will ask you daily if you had been to the “presentation” - it’s just a timeshare pitch. We got a spa certificate for going…it’s not a “quick” presentation no matter what they say.

Amazing experience!
On recommendation from our travel agent (Ruth Demuth with Trip Guy Travel), we ended up booking this last minute for our honeymoon destination after Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica (our original honeymoon choice). It may have actually been a better choice since both of us had been to Jamaica previously but neither of us had been to Punta Cana. So this was an all new experience for us. We had a blast! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. My hubby participated in several of the activities so they definitely knew him by name by the end of the stay. The food was amazing and no issues with transport at all (we used Nexus for transport). The suite was amazing and we loved the layout of the resort and all the food options. We absolutely loved all the cabanas around the pool and spent the majority of the time there. They did leave us a bottle of wine in the room (assuming this was in recognition of our honeymoon stay) and restocked our fridge daily. They freshened our room twice daily and we didn’t want for anything the entire stay. We did end up taking a ride to one of their sister facilities to play golf and it was a beautiful course! I had a massage and it was so relaxing and refreshing. The entertainment staff and shows were all great! We did not get a room with a butler but we were assigned a concierge and she took care of making reservations for the Asian restaurant, booking golf, and booking a massage. She was always just a text away. I can’t recommend this place enough and we will definitely be returning in the future!
