  Best 2 Week Couples Holiday – Absolutely 10/10!

  We stayed for 2 weeks at Secrets Moxché for a couples holiday to relax and have fun! What we loved is how well the resort caters for so many different people - whether you’re looking for a peaceful/relaxing holiday or want to get stuck in with the entertainment. The entertainment team does an amazing job with sports, classes, and daily activities, and we always found ourselves looking forward to getting involved! A huge shoutout must go to the entertainment team: Sergio, Aranza, Julio, Jessica, Daniella, Vanessa, Felix, Regina, Gabriella, Uziel, Axel, Monica, and all the entertainment team. You’re all amazing! You really made our experience what it was and transformed our holiday into something unforgettable. You all work incredibly hard every single day, always bringing so much energy while still being so friendly, approachable, and fun. From the moment we arrived, you took the time to get to know us, always made us feel welcome, and turned every activity into something we genuinely looked forward to. A special mention must go to Sergio, Julio, Aranza, Jessica, Daniella, and Vanessa, who even made the effort to find us on our last day to say goodbye. That personal touch really meant a lot, and we’ll miss you all! Our room was absolutely incredible - modern, spacious, and beautifully designed with décor that embraces the Mayan jungle culture. The tub on our balcony was an added bonus! The hotel provides plenty of thoughtful amenities so you never need to worry if you forget something. I’d highly recommend downloading the Hyatt app for easy access to information and room requests (though the in-room tablet is also very handy). Staff were always quick and responsive when we needed anything. Breakfast at the Market Café was excellent with a wide buffet selection, making it easy to try something new each day. Lunch was equally as good - either back at the Market Café, at the casual Sea Soul restaurant, or with a quick bite from the Barefoot Grill by the pool. All the à la carte restaurants were outstanding, with delicious food every single time. We especially enjoyed the themed nights: Asado Night on the beach with a fire show and silent disco, and Roads Through Mexico, which was such a fun way to experience regional dishes with fantastic performances that really brought the evening to life. Another highlight of our stay was the evening entertainment. Most nights, the Moxché Theatre hosted shows that were all unique and performed to an incredibly high standard. We particularly loved the Magic Show, Quirky Night, and the Candlelight Show - the performers are so talented, and it’s clear how much effort goes into making each show special. Every night, the Gypsy Club would open, hidden behind a secret pharmacy door with a password that changes daily. This was such a cool experience and a great option for anyone wanting to party later into the night. The variety of pools is immense - perfect whether you want to relax or join in the entertainment action. Our favourite was the activities pool where the entertainment team kept the energy high with games/activities and classes. The beach was peaceful and relaxing, and the staff worked hard each morning to clear the seaweed. While swimming in the sea wasn’t ideal due to the seaweed, we didn’t mind as we’re not really sea swimmers. I used the gym a few times and was really impressed with the quality equipment, including Peloton bikes. We also joined the bike tour with Daniella and Vanessa, which was such a memorable experience. It included stops around the local area where Daniella shared so much knowledge about Mayan culture - fascinating and fun at the same time. We also did an excursion to Chichen Itza, followed by swimming at Tsukan Cenote with lunch. Highly recommend booking for early entry to Chichen Itza to avoid the crowds, and definitely bring an umbrella - it gets hot! Both sites were breathtaking to experience in person. Overall, Secrets Moxché is hands down the best resort we’ve ever stayed at. The service is top-notch, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff go above and beyond in every way. We’d 100% recommend this hotel to anyone considering it - you won’t regret it!

  Amazing experience Secrets entertainment crew was amazing! Aranza, Miguel, uzial were soo nice to us every game we played!! Felix was always the highlight of our days, always good attitude and put a smile on our face. Gold star for everyone!!

  Okay place, Unless you have any mobility issues.

  Overall the resort is okay, unless you use a wheelchair, then Do Not choose this resort. This is the worst resort for those who have mobility issues. Most pools have no handrails and the ones that do have a handrail you must walk into a shallow part of the pool before you access a handrail. Secondly all of the paths that take you around the resorts resemble cobble stone. If you use any type of mobility device it is the worst. Now for any others who have no mobility issues you'll be fine. The food and service were all good but no Wow factor. We went with a group of 12 and the reviews of the restaurants were 70/30. The servers and bartenders were fantastic and the lagoon pool is beautiful. Rooms were a mixed bag half of us had issues from A/C not working to safe inoperable. Also I would suggest not to go in July or August if you want to hang out in a pool the water was uncomfortably warm. Finally if you are a smoker you will not like this place two small smoking areas located very far from pools and beach. So to sum it all up, if your a young non-smoker/vaper with no mobility issues and you can get this resort on a deal great. If not I would look elsewhere.

  Outstanding! A must for everyone

  Perfect Honeymoon – Outstanding Service! 🌴✨ We stayed at Secrets Moxche for our honeymoon and it was truly unforgettable. From start to finish everything was outstanding – the resort itself is stunning, the food was consistently amazing with so much choice, and the premium drinks made it feel extra special. A real highlight of our trip was the incredible service at the Coral Reef swim-up bar. Luis went above and beyond every single day – he was attentive, welcoming, and somehow always had our drinks ready before we even asked. His warm personality and exceptional service made our honeymoon experience even more memorable. Useful tips for future guests: Bring cash for tipping. We found around 150 pesos for pool drinks and 100 pesos at dinner was more than generous. You don’t need to tip every round – we tipped at the start of the day and it made things so much easier. Make sure to visit the swim-up Coral Reef bar – it was one of the highlights of our trip! If you’re looking for luxury, relaxation, and 5-star service, Secrets Moxché is absolutely the place to be. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect destination to celebrate our honeymoon and can’t wait to return one day.

  Amazing trip!

  The staff was incredible, the food options were beyond delicious, the pools, night club, and shows were great options for all day fun. We went for our honeymoon and we could not have picked a better location. Amazing option for couples looking for a beautiful and relaxing get away.
