Sep 16, 202544th Anniversary Trip 21-nights (Maroma-Blanca-Isla) Final
We have just returned from a 21-night and 3-resort trip in Mexico at Secrets Maroma, Secrets Playa Blanca and Secrets Impressions Isla Mujeres. We are Impression Black Members and celebrating our 44 years of Marriage. The key with all three resorts is the hospitality of all the employees from the maids to the servers, food services and management. We arrived and were treated extremely well at check-in, by our Butlers Erick and Edgar, plus UVC Staff Eric, Carlos, plus Eduardo (Manager) and Guillermo (Director). We had booked a “Signature” Suite, Ocean Front, King, Room and we were upgraded to a “Paramount”, Ocean Front, King”, two room Suite. WOW!! We enjoyed the daily activities, at the lobby pool, the upstairs pool, on the piers/docks, Kayaking, swimming, relaxing poolside with various drinks. The nighttime activities in the lobbies with live music and various low-key Entertainment was perfect. We were given a Special Dinner, plus two 50-minute massages at the spa. Karen was treated so well at the spa with Ivonne. We had our Special Dinner at Unik with server Alexander who took care of the entire dinner alone since the Restaurant was closed that night. We returned another night to Unik and received equally good service from Fernando and the attendant Rose. We had dinner one evening at Spezia (Italian) and we were served by Jorge who was excellent. Another evening, we had diner at La Vita (Mexican) and we were provided good service by Maria Romero and the bartender Romello who was able to get us a bottle of Tempranillo wine. All of the Servers at Cacao were excellent daily for coffee, tea, pastries and of course Ice Cream At Isla Mujeres we participated in the New Moon Ceremony, Brew Art, Silent Dance party and many other activities presented by Abraham and April with the Entertainment Team. We were invited by Abaraham and April to go on a Sunset Cruise as UVC Impression Members and it was a great experience. While on the Cruise we met several other couples and learned about an excursion in the Caribbean Sea to observe and swim with the whale sharks. We reached out to Carlos of Aquaworld on site. This was at the end of the season and although it was a bit pricey, it was definitely worth it and a once in a life time opportunity. The Unik Bar/Sports bar was excellent on Sunday as they allowed us along with others, to watch U.S. football games on the large screen TV in the bar from noon to 6pm. Andres, Heber and Edwin and others served us very well. We did not attend the General Manager Table on Thursday afternoons, but we did later meet the GM Mourad Essafi and spoke with him about our experiences. On our last day after a late breakfast before our departure, we were contacted by April of the Entertainment Staff, she had spoke with us on several occasions and told us she had a surprise for us. She took us to Spezia restaurant and had created a Mexico display, with clay pottery platter, coffee mugs, Tequila shot glasses, plus a special embroidered linen cloth from her mother and a Mexican Recipe Book she made based from her mother living in Vera Cruz, MX. She presented this to us as a gift that was above and beyond our imagination and from her heart. As my grand-mother Sevilla would say “thanks a million” April. Our hearts are full. We are so grateful to the staff at Isla Mujeres Impressions and for the love. We will return!

I can not wait to come back to Impressions at Isla Mujeres! Our butlers, Angel and Vianey, were amazing - so responsive and helpful! Carla, the activities coordinator, was the sweetest person and we loved meeting her and really loved all the activities she put together. We wanted for nothing on this trip - there was always someone nearby offering drinks, a special dessert, a scented cold towel, etc. The entire resort is beautiful and every single person we came in contact with was so kind. I also really love that there is a great mix of things to do so while we were able to rest and relax by the pool and beach, we also got to scuba dive, snorkel, paddle board, learn to make ceviche, taste and learn about tequila, take several different mixology classes, bike around and learn about the island, etc.

We had a great time. Pool was awesome, service top notch and just a positive vibe. Activities were great from Mazcal tasting to cocktail making to retro night!!! Also loved the yacht experience!

Hands-down, the best resort in the world!
This resort was by far the best place. My wife and I have ever been to. The level of service was out of this world. Our two dedicated butlers, Ángel and Vianey, were on top of everything and made our stay so personal. The views were absolutely spectacular. The food was very high-quality and delicious. We also had lots of fun activities that we did like the bike tour and coffee painting. April lead most of those activities and did an amazing job. I have zero complaints and I highly advise anybody that can, to go right now!

Amazing amenities, activities, food, drinks, and customer service. The nicest resort we’ve stayed at. Edgar, Erick, and Ritik did a great job helping us with anything we needed.
