Not overly cushy, not overly flashy, not great food, not great rooms, but for a fair price the right customers might like this place.

Maggie and Giselle in the spa, were very professional friendly and amazing to say the least. They were able to provide a very therapeutic massage. One of the best services in this resort. I would definitely recommend setting some time apart for this service.

First thing we felt tricked by booking "Ocean front room" which is really just "Ocean view". Room is comfy and clean but on the end of the building next to construction site next door. One night the noise from construction site pouring the concrete was from 11 PM til 4 AM while NO answer on the phone from reception people. The food was just OK and average, while the servers were great. These days many hotels have at least better quality, real jams and Nutella on pancake and wafle stations while Solaris has so bad, fake jams and chocolate syrup. The little things that can do much but I guess they just go like "You got what you pay for". Pool is good size but they can do better on cleaning and pool side food also is just average. The Asian reataurant at these hotel is a joke. Its better to remain at buffet. Now I know hotel managment will send that auto message like "We are sorry you feel that way....Thank you for your feedback..." but the fact is to do something about these things so we can come back again. Thanks to servers, housekeepers and entire personel for making it up, 3 stars for managment which can be much better. Do it and let your neighbors no construction after 10 PM.

First and Second time was a charm - GR Solaris does it again with their hospitality!
Second time returning to GR Solaris - the restaurants were delicious, activities poolside, fun as usual, with Yzarel leading his group! We tried Yoga this time, also led by Yzarel, it was simply grounding and peaceful. Gym, water yoga, water volleyball and random games poolside really make vacation a fun time. Oh and not to forget, they have basketball and tennis/pickleball courts. I played pickleball quite a bit and enjoyed every minute of it. We happened to be there for foam Friday, and that was energetic with everyone looking like a party in a huge bathtub :) I wholeheartedly recommend this location, if you like a quiet but still energetic resort. Somethings to note: Activity times are subject to change, so be aware of that. I didn't know this, but if you are leaving the resort, there's a golf cart to take you down to the street and take you back up when you return. Outside the resort, most things can be reached by autobus.
