    First Time in Mexico- Our Honeymoon

    My Partner and I had our honeymoon at Catalonia Royal Tulum from start of October for 10 days and we loved it.This was our first time in Mexico The staff and service were amazing and couldn't have asked for more. In Particular, Quezabel, Angels and Rosario in the restaurant, these ladies made our day at breakfast and lunch, they knew every guest by name, remember what drinks they order and paid a genuine interest as to how we were. They just made us smile and they went above and beyond and they deserve a pay rise! Thank you for being such a fab and memorable part of our honeymoon. Another shout out to the entertainment team, in particular, Tita, Paulina, Eddy, Abraham and Diego, they are a fab team and definitely deserve a shout out for all their hard work. Also the bartenders on the pool bar, Elas and George were fab! and they were always busy but happy to help! The drink choices were fab, lots to choose from. My only con was the presentation we were asked to go to by concierge and we soon realised it was to sell a timeshare. We were not interested in this but we felt like it was mis sold as a presentation held by the hotel to tell guests about everything that the hotel has to offer/bit like an welcome talk. We didn't let this spoil our holiday and the grounds were great, trips held by the water sports team I would highly recommend going on these, we went on two and the team that took us were great! Overall had an amazing, memorable honeymoon, would recommend and would go again!

    Not enough time and ready to return

    What an amazing experience and big part of it are team members and staff from the hotel that make every moment so very worth reliving when we are back in real world (home and working). Team working to keep you involved in daily and evening entertainment is absolutely wonderful and so skilled! They are warm and welcoming from first moment you meet them; Paulina, Tita, Diego and Eddie are always around and it seems like they never sleep making sure that everyone has great time! Thank you so much for amazing memories guys and I hope I will see you again soon since you are one of many reasons that makes me want to come back here again! I would love to name every staff member that I've met in resort but list would be too long, let's just say that this place did not disappointed but exceeded my every expectation. Thank you for amazing vacation Catalonia team!

    Amazing team!

    Diego, Tita, Paulina, Abraham and Edi were excellent! We really enjoyed the yoga class with Martina and the painting class!!

    A lovely week

    Lovely resort, very friendly staff and a beautiful beach. We had a great time. The food was great for breakfast and lunch, but some of the dinner options were hit and miss. Tao Cat Asian was poor, avoid that, but we had lovely dinners at the Steak Restaurant and the Mexican. Spa was also hit and miss, the massage was lovely, great staff and very friendly. The sauna wasn’t hot enough though, two air vents in the door letting in a cool breeze made it almost pointless. The treatments were expensive, but they did negotiate a discount after we pointed that out. Overall we had a thoroughly enjoyable week, the staff are brilliant and the pool and beach area are great

    Amazing experience at Catalonia Royal Tulum

    This place is magical!! The rooms are amazing, lots of restaurant options with great quality food, an animation team that makes the days and nights so enjoyable with different activities you can join if you want, and the most important part is that everyone that works there is super friendly and welcoming, we felt like we were at home. Highly recommend this place, especially if you're a couple, and you want to switch off and enjoy in an amazing environment.
