EMILIO was absolutely amazing. I gave 4 stars because I did not enjoy the buffet at breakfast and I also did not like the locations of the Xhale bars. You pay extra to get the Xhale service but there bars are not conveniently located at all so it is actually a deterrent. I ended up drinking the subpar liquor they had at the pool bars due to the locations of the Xhale bars. There was some outdated items in our room and I am hoping that it is updated before me and my guest come next year for my wedding. It will be approximately 100 of us. I love this resort and that is why we chose it for our wedding next year. Please make more updates before we come in June 2026

Awesome experience
Everything was nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The fridge was stocked with water, soda, and juice. The swim up bars were awesome and so was the many restaurants. The restaurants had a wide variety of foods to select from. They were all good. We had an amazing time.

I was at this resort before covid in 2019. This was literally a complete difference from than. Customer service was horrible. Check out process horrible. Drinks very water down and food hit or miss. I would not come back again as I feel you can have a better experience elsewhere.

Not worth the upgrade
I went on a girls trip with my sisters and my mom. We go to DR every single year, this was the worse hotel we have ever stayed at. We paid for the Xhale club and it was not worth it at all. All this money and the main lobby treated us better. We had a concierge (joel) and he was terrible, not attentive at all. He acted like every time we spoke to him he was annoyed and we were bothering him. The food and the waiters honestly saved this trip. I would go back just for the food and the waiters that served us because even the bartenders were rude.
- AdvisoryStudent Groups (Spring Breakers) are not permitted at Hotel. A student group consist of those that travel without parent supervision or a responsible adult in each room.
