The experience was amazing. The resort was beautiful and the staff was amazing. I encourage you to get the Xhale club package. You get a personal concierge that make your stay a lot smoother. Access to personal bars (with premium liquor) /pools. The food was amazing and you have great choices/places to eat from and you can also get room service. The beach is literally steps away. The entertainment was amazing. There are many pools and bars located everywhere. You will definitely enjoy yourself. And you also have access to the “sister” resort Dreams

POSITIVES. Lovely hotel, with grounds and two nice, big pools. One of the pools was a ‘party’ pool, loud and lovely the other, bigger pool was quieter, still had music and entertainment, but was quieter, which suited us best. Our room was spacious with a large, comfortable bed. Well-stocked fridge and a coffee machine. Free to use a safe. A lovely, spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. Janna, a charming and helpful concierge, was assigned to us and would send us daily updates on restaurants open and daily activities. When off, Ramon took over and was equally pleasant and helpful. The bars were well stocked, and if asked for, you could get branded drinks; otherwise, it was the local equivalent. The servers were friendly and engaging. As others have said, the Nook coffee shop was a daily visit, not only for the good range of drinks available but also for the staff who were very engaging and enjoyed a good laugh. The food available in the buffet and speciality restaurants was of a good standard, and the servers were again good. NEGATIVE. Unfortunately, the main buffet restaurant called ‘Spoon’ was shut for 23% of our stay, 3 evenings out of 13. Some, but not all, of the speciality restaurants were open, and the majority of guests were trying to get a table, which made for a lengthy wait for a table. On our last night, as Spoon was again closed, we went and waited for a table at the restaurant called Spumante, which unfortunately was a disaster. We waited over an hour for our meal, and when it arrived, it was lukewarm at best. We left without eating, and by then it was around 9:30. The decision to close the main restaurant was quite baffling. While we did have the option to dine at the sister hotel, Dreams, it wasn't a viable choice for us since our hotel is adults-only and Dreams caters to all ages.

Loved the xhale club - bartenders Murphy and Zuhlinny remembered our drinks every time. Willy was our concierge and was very helpful!

Satisfied but not could of been so much more
This hotel potentially offered some good options. Positives great concierge we had two wonderful ones looking after us Ramon and Janna, extremely helpful when things went wrong. Strip grill restaurant was the best along with the Culinaria. Great coffee shop with loverly staff Bayis was so funny. This hotel is great for those looking for a party/ night club type vide, there was an alternative pool which was better for a slightly older guest like us. Down side, there was a main buffet restaurant ( the food was great) the only one at the hotel, which was closed 25% of the time during our stay of two weeks, which just meant it was a bun fight at the other restaurants which where open not all of them were by the way, queening and waiting time to get in, at least 30min. One other small complaint was that the turn down service although very nice they kept leaving our door open for anyone else to enter… not good and to be honest after the third time became suspicious. You need to ask for branded drinks or you will get the local version.

Staff were very friendly and helpful but the food was terrible. Entertainment was excellent. This was my 3rd all inclusive resort first time in DR punta cana I will not come back here.
