    Great resort with some drawbacks

    The resort was great overall. The restaurants were fantastic and there are so many it’s hard to get to all of them. We were surprised by two things. The beach is not private. There is a parking lot right next to the resort where families enter the beach area. We were looking for a kid free vacation but the beach had many children present. Also, after dinner there were events each night. They were incredibly loud. We avoided our balcony at night since it was too loud to hear each other.

    Amazing time at Breathless

    Me and my fiancé had an amazing time at Breathless Cancun Soul. We opted to upgrade to the xhale club which I definitely recommend. Lunch at the purple lounge (xhale only) was delicious, ate there everyday (shout out to Sergio for remembering our order lol). The room was beautiful and upgraded. Loved having the tub on the balcony (tip, use the body wash in the shower to make a bubble bath). The resort was clean and lively. Every night there was a different event going on. The staff really put a lot of time and effort into set up and take down. Silk city for breakfast was so good! Would easily return, our expectations were exceeded with this resort. I would consider this resort a classy party resort.

    Basic resort

    The food and entertainment are lacking at this resort. The positive is they keep the hotel clean but it doesn't make up for the basic food/room and timeshare people harassing you. This resort does not give luxury but can be a quick party stop

    Good resort- Great staff (Ferran is the best!!)

    My husband and I stayed at breathless cancun soul for our honeymoon and had an amazing experience. We noticed that they pay a lot of attention to detail on cleanliness which was great to see. The food was overall great- many dishes were amazing and other dishes were just ok. Our favourite restaurant was Croquette and our least favourite was probably Silk City. Some dishes at Silk City were good but overall did not compare to the Asian food that we have at home in Vancouver which is understandable given our large Asian culture/population . The pools were very nice and were thoroughly cleaned daily. The drinks were good and not watered down. The one thing that stood out to us the most and really impacted our stay was the staff. Specifically one entertainment crew member named Ferran. He brought such a special energy and really connected with so many guests including my husband and I. He did a great job preforming during the daily entertainment events and games by the pool, drawing in the crowds and making everyone laugh and smile wanting to get involved with whatever he was up to. Between events and other duties, us and other guests enjoyed his company as he took the time to connect with different couples. We really enjoyed getting to know him and formed a strong relationship right away as he drew us in with his personality and enthusiastic energy. My husband and I have other reports on our list of places we would like to visit but after meeting Ferran we are hesitant to go where he isn’t. He would definitely be the reason for our return to breathless cancun soul. Many other resorts have comparable/better food and amenities, but my husband and I realized this trip, that it’s actually the company and vibe that really matters the most. Ferran made our vacation extra memorable and extra fun and everyone else who is going to breathless cancun soul will be lucky to experience the same.

    Pick somewhere else…

    Average to poor at best. Not even close to other Breathless properties. Staff was mostly arrogant and rude. Room service mini bar was a joke, never replenished.
