    Good overall with a la carte dining

    Good experience. Beachside hotel on complex of 6 hotels? With golf buggies to ferry you around. Numerous a la carte restaurants to use to offer change and took full advantage, buffet not so good. Good breakfast and lunch at beachside restaurant. Coffee shop well used and favourite Limbo bar and restaurant. Overall some staff better than others. Room comfortable, grounds well kept. Plenty of activities if required. Big shame about the seaweed with tractors up and down clearing the beach all day (9/8 - 7/9) and not seen in 5 years? but unpleasant trying to swim. Vendors and trip agents a nuisance.

    So many problems with the room in term of no cold water only boiling jot water Sheets and blankets are dirty with stains seemed not washed from previous occupants Not too happy - I don’t recommend this resort

    Luxury Ambar is a chain of the Bahia Principe Families. visited 2x . first time was great. our second visit was just okay. Food: The food here is great and some of the staffs are waiting to help while others are more of a tip staff. Entertainment was not the best compared to Bahia Jamaica We enjoy having a swim up at the back of our room because that gives us privacy. Thursday night was the best night at Ambar because of the sea food night. Excellent

    Animal abuse

    I wouldn’t recommend to travel to this beach, hotels are great but it’s impossible to enjoy the beach while you watch animal abuse with monkeys and birds. Next time I will definitely Go to other country for holidays with better regulations to avoid this horrible practices. Hotels are great but it’s just not possible to enjoy your stay.

    A milestone celebration

    This was a wonderful 60th birthday trip for me. The swim up rooms were wonderful plus room service was spectacular. They were there for you , no matter when you call. The welcoming I got and the entertainment for my birthday was fantastic.
