Honeymoon Trip
It was a great resort! Warm welcoming from the staff. Food was amazing! Beach is small. Pool was large and plenty of space and chairs to lounge. Overall experience was 9/10 would recommend.

Amazing Hotel! Enjoy my stay
This hotel went above my expectations, I was so thankful to the staff, they made our stay hassle free. The animation team was AMAZING so great. I had a very relaxing time by the pool, the drinks were great and the food was even better. I was very impressed with our room as the bed was so comfy and clean! I cannot wait to go back next year or sooner. Wonderful hotel!

Wonderful experience
Hello to all ; I stayed at this wonderful Hotel at Cap Cana and I must say it was delightful and friendly and the food was sooo good but there was one gentleman by the name of Charlie and because of Charlie we had the best time ever Charlie was the best host I have ever had and please believe me I travel a lot and Charlie was always warm hearted and gave us great advice where to visit but most of all his care made us stay on the property most of the time and Charlie was such a great entertainer as well I thought I was watching a Vegas show in the evening and to all out there please come here and have that great experience and laughter and beautiful beaches and warm hearted locals it was amazing and hopefully we shall meet you there and I am sooo grateful to Mr Charlie thank you thank you .

A potential gem
This was our third time visiting the Dominican Republic but the first time at TRS Cap Cana. We stayed at the TRS Turquesa last time and decided to see what this resort had to offer. Whilst there were a fair few negatives about this resort I understand that there was a take over occurring at the time of our visit which probably explains some of the issues we encountered. This started at check in which was slow, and it appeared that there was a lack of staff both at the check in desk and bell service. We were shown to our room in block 1 which was a fair size, it had a small walk in wardrobe and private balcony overlooking the marina. As our bags didn’t come straight away and we’d had a long day travelling, I walked back to collect them from reception as I couldn’t wait any longer. The room was clean but it appeared worn and in need of renovation. The mini bar was well stocked everyday with soft drinks and local beer. The toilet got blocked on one occasion we phoned for this to be cleared and the workman came promptly and solved the blockage straight away. Room service was relatively quick, less than 30 mins. There were a few restaurants but not all were open and we had to wait to hear from the butler which restaurants were open each day. This has to be one of the poorest experiences that I have had with regards to the freedom to choose restaurants but then also the service and food quality was poor too. I won’t go into the details here but if food is an important part of your holiday then this resort experience wouldn’t be for you. The quality of the service from staff overall was variable ranging from very poor to excellent. The service is the restaurant Gaucho was very poor. Thankfully we were fortunate to have Esmerlin with us by the pool. She was very good and always made sure we had our favourite cocktails throughout the day. There was plenty of room around the spacious pools and we were always able to find a seat with shade. I went swimming every morning before breakfast and was able to keep to my daily routine which was good. The pool was regularly cleaned each day but is in need of renovation. We were unable to use the beach as it was packed with the most seaweed I’ve ever seen. We knew that the beach was small but we weren’t aware of the seaweed issue. The hotel however has a free shuttle service twice a day to the Juanillo beach which was absolutely beautiful and I would recommend you visit. Jose was one of the drivers for this shuttle service and we were so glad for his help on our last day as he went above and beyond for us to ensure we got to our transfer that was not allowed into Cap Cana - Muchas gracias Jose. Whilst there were many issues at this resort they did not stop us from enjoying our stay and we would visit again in the hope that the new management solves some of these issues.

Sleepy Resort
I would have preferred to stay at the other Palladium resort in Punta Cana. We did a day visit and it had so much more to offer and a real beach to walk on.
