We celebrated my birthday here with a last minute booking due to our original resort not meeting expectations. We were very pleased with the attentiveness of staff at arrival and throughout the stay. The service was amazing and every staff member was welcoming. Our room was clean upon arrival and housekeeping stayed on top of it. The food was great, especially the dragons restaurant which we visited twice for dinner during our stay. I do wish there were more options open for breakfast and lunch without having to be a preferred member.

Nov 18, 2025Theft at Secrets the Vine Cancun
Watch your bags upon arrival and check in. As personal belongings sometimes go missing as we were informed by management after our suitcase had been found gone through and valuable belongings stolen. There was no resolution as security did an investigation by checking the cameras but would not let us see the footage.

Great beach and pools. Liked some of the restaurant food 50/50. Buffet good had an amazing selection at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Was always good. Steakhouse, Mediterranean, and Italian restaurants were really good. The Asian restaurant was not so great neither was the pool restaurant. Overall, all employees were very pleasant and accommodating. Honeymoon suite was great. Fabulous bar service and bartenders.

Great Property, Great Food, However: Turn the Heaters on when it is cool
Overall the experience was above par. However, the pool can be heated. It was not turned on until the last day. It took someone with high status to get the heaters turned on. If you happen to be there on cooler days, Ask to speak to the property manager. It may take talking to multiple people but THEY DO HAVE HEATED POOLS...

November vacation review
We had a great experience staying at Secrets the vine! Our room was clean, spacious and the ocean view was fantastic. The beach was absolutely beautiful and the water was very clear. We would recommend going with the preferred option as it gives you access to the private pool, breakfast and lunch at OIio restaurant and private concierge. The food at the resort was great and we felt there were many options to choose from. Special shout out to Rosanna, head concierge, who made sure our requests were taken care of and was always available to answer any questions. Also had a great experience dining with Manager Jose, at the Bluewater restaurant. Jose and his team took great care of all our meals and even suggested a special menu for a guest in our group who had dietary restrictions. We really appreciated the care both Rosanna and Jose took which made our stay memorable.
